This is a very good place, and has ample benches with backrest. The flowers are delightful. And the sunset was serene.

Nice place to spend sometime with family and friends. There’s rip line activity inside this place.

That sunset was fantabulous. Raja Seat meaning seat of king. Literally it's located at a good place where altitude is too high. You will feel cool Breeze to enjoy the nature. Get set go now. Must visit. You will also enjoy the Raja Seat park amenities.

An amazing view point, it was an amazing experience amidst the mist. There's an entry fee of 20 rupees and also cherry on the cake u get to experience a zipline which is around 300rupees but is worth a shot

This is a well maintained beautiful park to visit. It is within the city and easily accessible. Do not miss this place. Do visit around sunset time as it is worth watching the sunset from here. There would be lot of people visiting during sunset, but the park is huge. Outside park there are lot of snacking options as well.

View Point Park along with Raja Seat Park is one of the most popular tourist attraction of coorg.

The view point park provides with most beautiful and stunning sunsets and sunset views.
You should spend atleast one evening here in your Coorg Trip

Only downside is that the place is very much crowded in the evenings.

This is one of the best places in India to watch sun set. The sun sets in western ghats. It feels like the sun is waving you before setting

This view point is situated at madikeri, coorg. This is a sunset point not a sunrise point. So many people came to see sunrise by misunderstood. You cannot see sunrise here because this is sunset point. This is a good place to spend your evenings. Good view and relaxing atmosphere were there. It's looks like a park since you can bring your small children here for an enjoyment. Those who wants to do jogging, there is space for that also. Good place to visit if you go to Coorg.

Best view point - Raja Seat.

We had been 4 days in coorg and we never missed evening view.

Toy trains are not always available but the beautiful view point is always mesmerising. The water fountain is available in weekends. The ticket price is at best price.

Very beautiful park. The Raja's Seat provides a perfect destination for families to visit during their Coorg holidays. The place is amazing for clicking pictures of family and friends. Must visit in Coorg.

Must visit this view point to have a breathtaking view of mountains and valleys. During a clear day.it's mesmerizing and a photogenic location for some good photography. Nice place to relax in the benches and enjoy the view. Don't miss. Outside Hot Tea & Coffee available. Maintenance was going on during my visit (September 2022)

Awesome views which changes every minute. I can spend full day here looking at nature. Park is also maintained well. A must visit place for sure.

Very good view point with some seating benches to enjoy sunset. The park has many animal statues like an elephant, rhinoceros, dinosaurs, tiger, anaconda, deer, etc and has beautiful flowers planted in the park area. Entry fees are 10 rupees.

Very ordinary park and view point.nothing interesting.this place can be improved a lot.outside food not allowed inside.

One thing i notice in every sightseeing places are public restroom. And this place does have a clean restroom.

A small park that is well maintained and provides a good view point overlooking the valley and mountains.
There are many animal statues in the park that will keep kids interested. The place will give you some good pictures if you like to take photos of the places you visited.
There's not much ground to cover so plan to go around sunset or sunrise so that you can spend some time in the park and then view the sun set or rise. I would recommend sunset time as you can watch the sun set and then watch the musical fountain that runs from (sharp) 6: 45 PM to 7: 30 PM (these were the timings when we visited on 26th December 2019) - you dont have to stay the full 45 minutes as it is single flow pattern of about 30 to 45 seconds that keeps looping over different songs.
The tickets are just Rs 10 per person. There's no dedicated parking for the place but you should be able to get parking at walking distance - there were a few extremely helpful traffic police that were guiding vehicles as well as helping people.
For a general relaxed visit, this place should take 2 to 3 hours.

Amazing view of sunset and there's even water fountain and disco show during night and morning time this place is entirely covered in clouds.
There is no entrance fees during morning but in evening approximately 40rs per person is charged.
It is a very clean and well maintained.

There is a way to view point - starting from the left side of the raja seat. This is not a proper road, it's muds path we must careful in a each steps.
Very rush crowd in the evening of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. College students are mostly visiting this place.
