I went for routine check-up, Cornea Dr. Sinchana is good doctor but Retina Dr. Dakshayini I felt very bad Doctor, She handled me very roughly still after 8 hours my eyes paining because of rough handling. Very unprofessional Doctor, Never go to this hospital again and never suggest any one. Please go to Narayana Netralaya instead.

The doctors here are very experienced and really friendly with the patients. My mother got her cataract surgery done here and really happy with the overall service.

When I went to Vijaya Nethralaya, Nagarabhavi for the first time, I met the counselor Mrs JEAN who provided all the required information including an estimate of the expenses that would be incurred. Her response to my queries was very straight with full clarity and truth. I was very impressed with her counseling and response which was in sharp contrast with my experience at NARAYANA, AGARWAL and other places. I would like to thank her from the bottom of my heart. Got my LASIK at Vijaya nethralaya from Dr Shushruth Sir. He and staff were very friendly and supportive, Dr answered all my questions and explained the process. He supported morally too and made me feel very comfortable with the process.

Irresponsible staff and doctors, worst service, in the name of the service these people are making money, only business minded, not service oriented, as required, if it’s required or not they will check unnecessary tests, and make you charge high, arrogant in nature.

Vijaya nethralaya indeed a right place for your eye problems. Recently got cataract surgery done and very happy with the service. Cost wise is also truly genuine. Doctor Sushruth and Appaji gowda are the best doctors. I have been consulting with them over a decade. Thanks to both the doctors. I am happy with the outcome of my surgery.

Place is good and faculty seems good. But I did not had good experience. Just for a minor issue in my left eye (saw the Doctor there on 7th Feb 2021 Sunday) I was administered Steroid eye drop for 28 days.
I stopped taking it after 5 or 6 days as adviced by other Medical professionals in my family.
Steroids should not be given for minor issues - like in my case dust had entered my eye previous Night and hence my eye was little swollen.
Normal eye drop and Avil 25 mg would have been sufficed it seems.

Staff behavior is not good.i suggest to go better hospital than these. And no words about treatment.

Vasan eye care had a very good service level, 7 years back when we got a cataract surgery done from you.
But sorry to inform customer/ patient service by the support staff isn't at all as it was previously.
We were informed by receptionist to wait in the waiting hall for 2 min. After almost an hour also nobody checked on us. Receptionist on cross checking informed that doctor would see us in some time.
Later after cross checking with your other team member we were told you should go up.and doctor will be available only after an hour.
No second thoughts about your capabilities but customer service is pathetic
If anyone is planning to visit this hospital, please think twice. Patients time is as precious as doctors.

I like the place because of doctors and treatment my friend received. He was not able to see anything in his right eye and Dr. Sushruth suggested ICL surgery and now he is able to see everything. This is a good hospital

I have great experience here during my moms cataract surgery. Have sufficient parking space for cars.
Staff is very supportive, in this pandemic, staff is always manage campus clean and hygiene.
Special thanks to center head and counseling manager she is very nice and supportive, provided all the necessary advice in time and she helped me to get my cashless claim approved from insurence company
Dr. Appaji Gowda is senior most and have aplenty of experiences in all kind of eye related treatments and surgery's.
Finally It is great experience during our cataract surgery's and related follow ups.

Courtesious staff & Doctors along with affordable pricing, felt each and everyone sticks to the vision and mission which is stated in waiting area:) got the best of service during covid and I was infact turned down in for checks in surrounding areas.

My sister had lasik last week. Doctor sushruth was very humble and took care of the surgery brilliantly. He is very polite and professional. I would suggest people who are looking for a excellent place to get their lasik done, to visit Vijaya nethralaya.

Very happy with the treatment here, Doctors were very helpful, staff helped us very much, my grandfather underwent cataract surgery here. My cousin brother underwent LASIK surgery here. Their washrooms are very clean and tidy. The rooms are clean and equipped with television. I watched a movie while my grandfather underwent surgery. They also display surgery live. The atmosphere is very friendly and nice and worth the money.

I would rather say think 100 times before visiting here. I had visited this hospital to enquire about lasik surgery, Dr Appaji Gowda suggested I have minor hole on both the retina and had to get "barrage lazer" done before lasik. I took 2nd openion from other doctors and they confirmed hole was in my right eye. Trusting vijay netralaya I went back to get the treatment done. Here are the few worst part about this hospital.

15th June 2019
1. Reception and staff is very unruly and doesn't treat you like a patient (just like government hospital). Waiting rooms is filled with mosquitos. Lazer rooms smell like a dead rat.
2. Staff dilated me at 6pm and made me wait till 8: 10pm until I approached them. Dr Appaji gowda suggested I go through the lazer on Monday (17th June 2019)

It did not happen on Monday as doctor who was supposed to treat me was unavailable.

Tuesday (18th June 2019)
3. A retina doctor tested again and decided to go with lazar on left eye, when all the 2nd openion doctors had clearly mentioned the problem was with right eye. When I approached Appaji gowda he was "irresponsible" and "arrogant" saying the other doctors were wrong. Trusting Dr appaji gowda I approved to go ahead treating my left eye.
4. I don't remember the surgon who did lazer on my left eye, but he was too irresponsible. He came with a phone on his hand, didn't even look at my face. He asked the nurse which eye and he started the lazer. Post treatment he just stood with his phone and walked aways. There was no post surgery precautions give and didn't even give a follow up date. "worst doctor I have ever visited"
5. I approached different doctor for 3rd openion and they made it clear the problem was with the right eye.

(22nd June 2019)
6. I took proof to Dr Appaji Gowda and he was still arrogant to accept his mistake.we argued for hours and finally he suggested to get checked by on of his other retina surgon.

(24th June 2019)
7. A different doctor came in, After a thorough checkup it was confirmed problem was with right eye. And they operated the right eye too.

Verdict - Dr Appaji gowda the most senior doctor was so careless that they did the lazer on left eye instead of right eye. This carelessness was even after I told him other doctors have suggested the problem was with right eye.

All the doctors are too arrogant to answer your queries. And they treat left eye instead of right. Think 100 times before you visit this hospital.
