Good ambience. Very near to Malpe beach. Rooms are little congested. But it was fine. Overall good

One of the worst hotel I have ever stayed.while booking they told us it's 2bhk villah, but they gave us a cramped 2 rooms accommodation which is not at all worthy of money we paid, Rs 7000 per night.dusty blankets, They didn't give towels and bath accessories. Upon request we got only 2 small soaps and 1 towel. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone

We stayed in a row house, and did not have a good experience.
The service is bad, rooms are not good, washrooms smell, and the prices are exorbitant, includes hidden fees.

Best place to enjoy with friends and family very near to Malpe beach, Very Good Hospitality and Food is awesome

Amazing home stay! The host was very kind and helped us with our whole journey, the property is located very close to the beach.

Really great place. Clean and walking distance to the beach and nice restaurants. The staff is really nice and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Udupi.

It's good in every department, be it's cleanliness, staff politeness, facilities, everything was very good. Location is also very near to malpe beach. Overall a great value for money stay

Other than being on good location, there is nothing available here. They don't have in house restaurant. No complementary breakfast. We booked 2 rooms in which other than AC none of the amenities work. There is a distinct smell which the care taker tried to cover with a very pungent smelling room freshner.

The rooms are not good. The walls are damped and because of this the room smells a lot. The furniture and bedsheets have fungus on them. On the good side the customer service is good, and the place is near beach.

Location is ok but place was not clean. Dirty bathroom, fridge not working, no ac in hall. Would not recommend to anyone.

For me it was an okay okay stay with Vindya Home stay. The rooms were not that clean and hygiene. Even the bedsheets and blankets also were dirty and I asked them to change. It is very near to Malpe beach, somewhere around 200 - 300 meters.

The cottage was very clean and spacious.
We stayed in one of the villa called Sai villa in 1st floor.
There are two rooms with 1 single and 1 double bed on each rooms. There is living area where there is a sofa set and tv.
There is a open kitchen attached to living room. You can use this kitchen by paying extra 500. There is a refrigerator and Inverter as well.
The place was awesome and we enjoyed the stay.
The only drawback is the washroom were not that clean and there were lot of mosquitoes.
Other than that it is one of the best place to stay near malpe beach. And you can reach the beach by walk which is around 800m.

Could have been more clean and could offer some utilities for the the guests like towels, soaps, etc.

The individual villas on ground floor are good but they cost Rs 8000 per villa, the building with multiple 2bhk rooms are 4k each.
They are small but has a hall with average 5 seater sofas, a kitchen, 2 small rooms, 2 separate bathrooms.
They have good shower with continuous hot water supply.
Parking for two wheelers and four wheelers on front and limited.

Clean & comfortable accommodation at affordable prices.
Stayed here for 2 days in mid February 2021. Was little skeptical & anxious as I had not seen the accommodation and booked over phone & it was a family visit.
Though the check-in and check-out is normally between 12.00 noon to 12.00 noon, as I was expecting to reach in the early morning, I had informed the same. The care taker was attentive enough to attend my call and do the needful even at the wee-hours in the morning with a hassle free check-in.
My observations regarding the accommodation:
Though the premises, consisting of row cottages, is at a quiet neighborhood, its situated on the Malpe beach main road with a walking distance of 6-7 minutes from the beach and 2-3 minutes from the commercial hub.
It has an in-house café, mini departmental store, saloon, children’s play area and private vehicle parking.
The accommodation occupied by me consisting of
• One living area accommodating a new sofa set with coffee table with a wall mounted new color TV set, set top box with separate remotes, a UPS along with Battery backup and also a standby generator set in the outside corridor.
• 2 bed rooms (one with attached bath cum toilet fitted with geyser for 24/7 hot water and the other with common bath & toilets with both western & Indian commodes) with double and single beds in each room. A uniquely designed ward robe cum dressing cabinet to arrange all the sundries at one place.
• A quite spacious kitchenette with a long counter slab and wash basin.
• Wide windows for natural lighting & air with sliding shutters & curtains.
• All the electrical fittings like lights, fans, geyser etc, were in good working condition and also enough electrical plug points for charging mobiles and other accessories.
• Floor level electrical sockets (with mosquito repellent machines)
The management and staff were eager enough to assist, at the same time respecting our privacy. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Thank you very much to Mr. Girish Suvarna and his team at Vindya Home.

This one is one of best Home stay in malpe and all the facilities available near store also Is there.

Moderate Home away Home near Malpe beach. It has A/C and non A/C villas. In the front building complex, it has normal rooms. Choose your accommodation based on ur need. Villa has refrigerator, induction, plates and basic vessels for light cooking. It has car and bike parking. Bigger cars can park in the front side. It has one saloon and grocery shop in the front complex. Beach is walkable and bus stop is very near by. Restaurant is non operational due to covid now, but was good and tasty during my last visit.

Great location, staffs very cooperative, good cleanliness.
Value for money. All requirements available within complex including crockeries, ration & vegetables if you are interested cooking. Nice homestay for families. Mr. Girish thanks.our stay was awesome.

The room was small but the villas are nice and spacious you can opt for 2bhk/3bhk villas starting from 4000 onwards.the owner is nice and will be happy to give discount for large groups and longer stays.for good deals directly approach the owner rather thn websites.

Cost effective but sheets were dirty and stained. They need to improvise on cleaning their surroundings.

Like the place a lot, thanks to owner fir understanding & providing at reasonable cost. Two bed room with one extra bed in each. Hall with TV. Common washroom with Geasor.
With Parking. Same society with hotel for all breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. With cooperative staff delivered to home.

Good to stay here. In reasonable rate good accomodations.sea beach also nearby from the stay. Restaurant and a grocery shop is there to get all necessary things immediately. People are friendly and helpful.

Overpriced for a night (Rs. 1650), horribly maintained bathroom which stinks and is unbearable, very small room but comfortable bed though.

Its Villa type guest house, well maintained. For couple it's bit expensive if you go with family of 4-6 members it's really worth. Very near to beach & hotels.

I booked through makemytrip. 1300 rs for one night, an overpriced hotel with minimum facilities.

It's not that much good bed is too worst it make too much sound and it's too expensive they don't done any online transition they take cash only

This homestay was perfectly priced for 4 people and fit our budget. The best part was the proximity to the Malpe beach; it is just a 2-min walk. This is the perfect place if you plan to spend most of your time outside of the hotel. However, if you plan to stay indoors for significant amount of time, then you may look for other places.
Facility-wise: They have hot water supply and a kitchen (at an extra cost), if you wish to use. However, you don't get the hotel-like experience with other amenities like Wifi, toiletries etc.
