Amazing place for kids and grown ups. I loved the space science section and Life Sciences section. The smart displays are great. The movies on Evolution of Ape to Humans is mind blowing. You can book the tickets at a kiosk and pay through Gpay or paytm or any other app.
Lovely place to visit if you love science. Some things are not working. Also, we need to make sure kids do not destroy the experiments placed there. Parents should keep an eye
Visit this place if you have curiosity about how engineered things works. It has sections from different engineering streams. Also has special kids section. Must visit if you are in Bangalore.

Great hands on museum with very understandable explanations of even the most common things we use daily like pen and lock. It is not just for science enthusiasts but everyone will find something interesting. The space section is very India focused and great to know about all the space conquests and missions of ISRO.
Museum is good and kids/adults will enjoy it as a day trip. Few exhibits seem to be added in space section but rest seems to be same over 15 years! It would be good if museum keeps pace with technology. Also some sections need maintenance.
It's a must visit place for School children, So many things get to learn. An entire day required to patiently fo through all the sections. Entrance fee is Rs. 75 for above 5 years. There are few 3D theater as well inside for which Ticket range from Rs. 25 to Rs. 40. The cafeteria is not great.
Entry fee is Rs. 75 worth every penny. Really good place. They have fun science for kids. They have biotechnology, space, electronics, etc. They have clean washrooms. There were some 3D showes also at time interval for which we had to pay again. There is a canteen at top for lunch. Good place.
Even being in Bangalore, if not visited here, then you have missed a lot. For the future of your children, you must take them on a voyage to the scientific journey of this museum. A must visit and enriching place in Bangalore.
Must visit place. If any educational institute like schools or college planning for IV trip. Please take students here to experience the science and technology. Informatice things not only for students, also for adults.

The Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Bangalore, India, a constituent unit of the National Council of Science Museums, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, was established in memory of Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya.
Excellent museum. Can't believe I didn't know about this place despite being in Blore for more than 10yrs. It has 4 floors of tons of stuff divided into sections. Each section is large enough and has lots of artifacts. Some of the artifacts are interactive and hence you are given gloves at the entrance. There are lots of things to do for adults, and there's a section for kids as well. A must visit for museum lovers. Please carry enough sanitizers as there aren't any of the floors. There's limited parking in the premises.
Good to see they have the same setup after nearly many many years makes us nostalgic. Some things don't work. They have added also new areas like biotech, kids zone etc. Kids can have good time
One of the best museums in Bangalore with awesome technology and many other things to look forward. Throughout explore the place and can take quite a while to explore it fully and cover everything. Recommend coming to this place very early cause it mine definitely take time. The place of the museum makes it more accessible. There is parking near the end of cubbon park. Opposite to the tonic where you can parking lot of vehicles. Must visit museum if you come to Bangalore.
Good things: 1. Temperature check, hand sanitizer and hand gloves will be provided at the entrance. 2. Parking place is available for 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler. 3. Discount is available on entry fees for the people who are having BPL card on providing a zero copy of the same. 4. Dedicated cafeteria is available at 4th floor. 5. Can spend 3-4 hours if interested in science and technology.
Bad Things: 1. Parking charge need to be paid, 10 rupees/2 hour for 2 wheeler and which will be collected while exiting. But if we don't aware about the parking amount then person who collect parking fee will collect 20 rupees for 2 hour. 2. For getting BPL card discount we need to provide hard copy of BPL card (Xerox copy). Government is supporting all kind of digitalization but still in this museum they demand of hard copy of BPL card being government managed museum. 3. Museum is having collection of technical stuffs but some are not working. 4. Cafetaria is not having variety of food and taste/quality also need improvement. 5. Price of the food is in the cafeteria is little high. 6.3D show is having same short movie (15 min), same movie was shown in my last visit (2 year back).
Located next to Government Museum. Entry fee is 75 rupees and this place really worth for it. In ground floor kept items related to mechanical engineering like different type of Engine, power plant, turbine, boilers etc. In 1st floor some fun elements in one side and Electrical engineering and computer related items one side. In 2and floor one side Aerospace, rocket and satellite etc. On the other side materials related to human body and biological systems. This place is most recommended for kids and specially for Engineering students.
Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Bangalore (VITM), a constituent unit of National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, was established in memory of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Every student should visit this place, students like this place. Well defined arranged Informatic museum with branch vise (like space, automobile, mechanical, electronics, biotechnology) in 4 floor building.
They charges 75 rupees per head- it's worth for the charge, they issue hand glows, sanitizer is available, They have taken necessary precautions for the COVID situation.
Since Museum located in main road (kasturaba road), it's very easy to identify. There is enough parking place.
It needs upgradation in terms of technical aspects, like providing digital vedios audio's, thro wifi information as & when visitors steps in a paricular section. When it is named after sir M. Vishveshraya his name bust/statue should have unveiled. In 4th floor eatery is provided but rates much exorbitant & digital payments not not implemented. There 3 buildings one venkatappa art gallery, middle building is old antiquity's north side building is technical museum Car parking available two ticket counters technical museum bit expensive
This science museum is located at cubbon park. It is 5 storied building. Every floor has different types of activities. Specially children will enjoy the activity. Whoever is very keen to science should come here once. Entry fee is only 75rs. Must visit place in Bengalore. I recommend this place.
Good place to visit and great place to learn from fun to education all types of great inventions and equipments that changed the world are displayed here.
Ticket price is Rs. 75 and very reasonable. Crowded during weekends and peak hours. Has parking facility. Also has special 3D shows for which you have to buy seperate ticket. Biotechnology centre and fun science centre are very attractive. Need 2-3 hours for a complete tour. Two Cons: 1. Due to covid restrictions few models are not operative so real fun is missing, 2. Ambience in the Cafeteria is not up to the mark. Better to skip it.
One of the best science museums I have seen ever. The museum has displays covering Mechanical, Electronics, Biotechnology and Space departments. The interaction with the displays makes the tour more interesting. If you want study of these departments and need to get motivated in your studies a best place to visit. The ticket price is Rs. 75 which is worthy. To cover all the exhibit keenly you atleast need to have 2-3 hours.
Excellent knowledge centre for childre. Banglore visiting people especially students must viait the science museum.it is established in 1962.different blocks for space, engines, fun science, computer engineering block, electicity block like some more. We can spend full day to visit all the blocks.especially we can operate some equipment to perform experiments to get hands-on experience.it is very enjoyable time to spend science loving people to know the history of science.
The Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Bangalore, India, a constituent unit of the National Council of Science Museums, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, was established in memory of Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya. Awesome place. Good value for money. RS. 40 entry fee. Various science experiments worth a watch. I would suggest all schools and parents to take their kids to this place atleast once in their lives.
Wonderful Technological advancements Illustrating to common man.
It is really a good place to Kindle interest in science in young ones. You get lot of information with working and interactive models where people can actually see how it works. There are separate floors for different topics. It is really well maintained. You get a detailed description of each and every model clearly and also the principle just below the model is mentioned. You have another building dedicated just to the history. There you can find historic artifacts and paintings. You get to know some fundamentals of many sciences like physics, astronomy, mechanics and space.
Superb place. We went in unwillingly hoping to come out in 30 minutes, ended up spending more than 3 hours. Lot of working models to explain the various principles as well as shows to explain concepts. Please visit, it will surely get you hooked. Children especially will like it very much.
Nice museum with various concepts explained in detail. Good place for kids to enjoy and learn as well as for adults. Food court is also good. Half day can be spent very well.
Very informative with working model of daily used instruments. Good place for young one scientists. Full day can be spend here. 3-4 small video shows are there. U can experience Wright brothers aircraft
Pros - 1) Good for students of all standards. 2) Separate space for #Mechanical #Electrical #SpaceScience #Biotechnology #Physics and many more. 3) Books stores for kids and elders are also available. 4) Mini toy store is also there. 5) Security check. So this place is nice for people of all ages. Cons - I didn't find any downside of this place.
Nice place for science lover. Few tools n experiments were not working. So missed the fun of that. And few place is under renovation. But all over with kids it's worth to go for 50 rs per person ticket.
Its one of the technical museum and it has a more games related to technic. We were enjoyed a lot in this museum. 3d shows also available in this Vivesvaraya museum. We spend more time in this place.
The place is nice but the way that stage behaved over there was very rude if anything happens from us by mistake the shouted and said do that in your state is this the way they should reply to their visiters they should be polite with there toungh and they should be tought that we all are indians I hated the place
One of my favourite place in Bengaluru. It is very helpful & important for kids as well as mechanical enthusiasts. Fabulous demonstration of all kinds of chronological of engines and other science activities. Isro department and fun science department is particularly interesting.
The museum is excellent for science and tech enthusiasts. It has 6 different departments in biology, applied sciences, electronics and mechanics. The atmosphere is excellent and there's ample parking space outside the museum.
Best museum in Bangalore.must visit places in Bangalore.it contains mainly scientific knowledge resources.life sciences and aeronauticals, warcrafts, war planes, physical science, and soo much other. Best place for children too.
Excellent place for kids interested in Science. Lot of science experiments are demonstrated. Lot of exhibits like rocket, satellite, life size replica of first air plane of Wright Brothers etc are displayed. A must visit for young minds. Some of the science experiments in the fun zone are not maintained properly. But overall it's an excellent place for an Educational weekend! Worth the time and Money!
Really great to show everything at One place. Apact naming Visvesvaraya Sir Excited alot at Electronics and Science zone. Please take Children, may they feel like play ground to gain knowledge!
Wonderful place to visit and bring the young kids. The museum is designed to make awareness about the Science to the general public. The concepts and the principles are explained with various models and activities. The entertaining science movies are also played during the day. The complete visit to the museum takes atleast 3-4 hours so prepare accordingly and be ready to walk a lot. However, it's a worth visiting.
This place has variety of fixtures to offer. A must visit place for a science enthusiastic, in fact anyone. You can visit with anyone whether a friend colleague, family or IV of college (in my case) and have the same fun! They showed us a lot of demos related to working of many machinery in a funny, entertaining way. That means whether you are a hardcore science lover or not, you will find it amusing. They also allow us to use camera, so you can capture photos and relive it later. The topmost level was my personal favourite in the museum (Science for children). Attaching a snap, hope it is useful
Good place to take your kids to show them a variety of science and technological concepts in action. There are a variety of exhibits kindle scientific temper in people of all ages. It can be overwhelming for kids to grasp every thing in one day. It's a good idea to take them once every six months/one year between class 5 and 10 so that they can understand concepts of increasing complexity incrementally. It also helps in reinforcing the understanding of academic lessons. The place does not have clean restrooms.
Very crowded during weekends and public holidays, good for children and adults who are interested in science and technology, food court is there at the top floor, parking is available Rs 50 for adults entry tickets
Really awesome place to go through with kids. Own experiment with science and technology. Do visit with kids. Such a neat environment . They can learn things practically
Mind blowing museum. Here you can find magic of mechanisms, wonders of chemistry, about nature, about space almost everything. It is like a scientific world at one place.
