Our encounter with Vroom Drive was nothing short of a nightmare. Upon arrival at their center, we were greeted by an empty pick-up point, leading to a frustrating 1.5-hour wait. The support staff was nowhere to be found, reflecting a dire lack of professionalism. To add insult to injury, the car provided was in terrible condition, with visible damages, yet they had the audacity to charge us Rs. 7,200 for it. This has been the worst car rental experience, and I strongly advise against using their service.

My booking was cancelled 6 hours before my pickup time and I was informed through email. They have ruined my entire plan. There is a big trust issue that you will not have the car as booked. Also, the booking amount has not been refunded to my account. It been 15 days since they cancelled my booking. Very bad experience with vroom drive, even the support time is not answering my call.

My booking was cancelled because the car wasn’t available. I am calling them everyday now to get my refund, also sent them many mails. They are not responding, not even picking my calls. Very pathetic.

I booked car for 7th July 2023, on 8th we returned the car back as it was.
It's being more than 1 month. I am still struggling to get security money back. I called multiple times. The call hardly connect to the customer care. They didn't respond well. This is totally fraud.

Booked a vehicle on 5/5 at 9am vehicle not delivered on time not even shared drop off driver number from vroom. Tried to contact driver multiple time and replied that vehicle will be delivered 2hours late. In such cases kindly intimate customer the scenario prior. Even after contacting customer care the response was very bad.
Kindly show some sort of dignity in our service as it's a paid one. In my personal experience I never recommend your platform to anyone Thank you.

Vroomdrive is a team of fraudsters. Bad vehicles, No road side assistance, no vehicle replacement in event of break down. Rude customer support. We were stuck in the outskirts of Ooty with infants, senior citizen parents but instead of helping us they told us to manage it ourselves. Refund promised by them was also turned down later by them by saying their management didn't approve it. Our entire amount was forfieted and trip was deleted from the app. Total fraud company.

Firstly, company is good and i have been using their car from many years, after the pandemic staffs have changed and they are taking costumers for granted

there is no solution for your query only answer you get is server is low due to that unable to assist will check and get back.never come back,

a little while ago i spoke to the executive is so casual, no no seriousness at all, very disappointing if this continue one day for sure company will not be in the market anymore

Had a bad experience with vroom. Arrogant people sitting behind the customer care helpdesk. Good! I'll go else where and hire a car. Ur loss, not mine. I hire a rental car very often. Will tell my friends n relatives also not to book with vroom.

The whole team did go that extra mile for me.
1) Their driver: At the airport before I landed. 4 am in the morning! Patient to explain all car related documents. On time for pickup as well. Did random checks by text, asking me if everything was good. Responded to texts and calls every single time.
2) Customer care: Acknowledged my case was different as I didn't have all the documents needed for renting. They went through the process of verifying my other documents and cleared it. They were very patient.
Moreover they answered all sorts of questions I had about mundane stuff. Always responsive.
3) Management: They had to waive off on my case as it was different ; they could've very easily just ignored me. Sympathy is a pretty hard thing to find these days.
4) Car maintenance representative: Quick to respond. Explained what I need to do if I had to seek a mechanic somewhere else. (It was a tiny stone or something that managed to get in the brake. (quick clean and the car was good to go)
5) Car: Cleaner than expected; it was an older model. (XUV 500 - lay flat back seats). Zero issues; I crossed two state borders. BTW they asked me twice if I'd rather take their new car.
I hope their service was not biased as I was renting for three weeks. I'm pretty sure I missed a few more good things I could write about them. Keep up the good work team Vroom. Vroom can teach companies in the West how to do business like a true professional!
I'll be renting again if I fly BLR. (XUV lay flat backseat).

Worst place to rent a car!
Had booked a XUV 500 for my trip to Ooty. While booking through the Vroom app, it showed the vehicle had done 78000 kms. However the vehicle I was assigned had 178000 kms. The car's tyres were in terrible state with the spare wheel having a big cut covered with a tape.
Unluckily I suffered a flat tyre in the hills while driving to Avalanchi Lake which has the steepest and narrowest hilly roads. I was stranded and had to take a risk to use the damaged spare wheel in order to reach the nearest garage 4kms away in the hills. Somehow survived with my family by god's grace.
The windshield of the car had so many scratches that it completely blinded me while driving whenever sunlight or incoming headlight beams of cars coming from the opposite direction at night fell on it

Another glaring cover up was the pollution certificate that was handed with the car documents
The certificate had the wrong registration number and the vehicle type was listed as tempo. While the picture of the number plate on the certificate was of the original car registration plate. See attached picture.

Complaint to the Delivery executive and he assured me that he would send the correct copy to me on what's app in couple of hours which he did. Not sure if thessess photoshop skils
Strict legal action should be taken against this company for cheating and endangering the lives of their customers

Don't book in vroom drive. They have stolen my umbrella. I left my umbrella in the car while returning the car on 17th oct. A day after went to bellandur hub and asked for umbrella. They told car given for service.

After that I have called customer care and asked about the umbrella. They told that there is no umbrella in the car and car given for another customer. Vroom is Not trustable. Cleaning person stolen the Umbrella.

Please check your belongings before returning the car. Whatever left in the car they will steal it and finally tell you that you only lost it.

If I get back my umbrella. I will rewrite the post.

I can say Vroom drive is a perfect choice if you are looking for self drive cars in Bangalore. Friendly and professional staff. During car breakdown staff guided us so well that we did not feel much hassle.

The worst self driven car that I've ever seen, claiming false charges and trying to cover it up. I have taken a car on 25th of Oct for a two day trip. After returning the car they have charged me that I've not returned with the level of fuel that they had given me before the trip and they have charged me Rs. 1232 + Rs. 288 additional kms charges (48*6per kms). The gauge picture has been before handing to me as well as once I've handed over after the trip. *The picture was taken from their end*. I've asked them with the given proof of picture that there is a difference in the fuel level while handing but it's not the level that you've charged (Rs. 1232÷107 (diesel) =11.51litres) it's a Ford figo aspire 40 ltrs of fuel cap. I've asked how you've have measured the level of fuel consumed to a surprise they randomly said 30%. They didn't measure it by any given/ usual methods just randomly he's telling 30%. They didn't know their own company policy. They don't have any proper / legal answer to any of my question. I told them I'm ready to pay but give me an exact / approx true to value of fuel consumed. With their given picture there the fuel consumption would be near to 5-7 ltrs. And all of sudden Agent Mr. Venkatesh came to the scenario very rude and dosent have a basic customer support knowledge and didn't let us talk.

With a very rude / sarcastic way he said, your keep on talking this for about 20 mins, I told hime I will because it's my money and you're asking me to pay extra. I asked him according to you how much fuel I have consumed, he replied sarcasticly 12 ltr, he thought that he's trying to mock me. I told him dude the call is getting recorded with all the things that you've said. Right immediately his tone and way of answering got changed. I td him I am ready to pay but his way of talking was not acceptable. You gonna end up losing customers. Don't charge them false. You don't have an ethics. Don't false charge anyone.

Booked hexa for a long trip. Superb car and I think that's what matters the most. Also we had booked trip with fuel and getting refund without any issues. All these while support was there. On request we had a roof carrier and was provided. Their staff know their car well. Will be looking forward for more of such loong trips.

Dear People, it is my sincere suggestions to plz not book a self drive car with vroom. They have the worst service in the self drive industry.
We had hired a car on 29th Oct at 8am to 1st Nov 8 pm, we needed the self drive car to avoid covid19 situation travelling in cab, as we travelled from MH for a national championship with well known athlete to bengaluru.
We were delivered the car to our hotel in yelhanka with a untidy condition from outside. But we avoided as we had to priotize our time. The driver locked the car and handed over the key. We dint bother checking any other operations of car. For our suprise after sometime when we wanted to hear for the event, the car door was jammed and dint open for trying for a long time. The key was a manual duplicate key and was not opening. We tried calling deliver person but no answer. We somehow reached call center and they asked us to wait till some executive reach the vehicle. We kept our calm and were there for half hour no one called our turned out. After calling the call centre again they ask us to wait for some more time and we denied and left by taxi in the covid situation all due to the car faliure and no authentic response from the vroom team.
We reached our destination and half hour later the employee calls and says the car is opened and there is a Special way to use the key.
We asked the customer care manager Mr. Vignesh / Viraj to cancel or provide a other car. The manager says no you have to use the same car as we have alloted KA05AG1861 Ford to you and can't give other car. We asked him we can pay extra but we need a good neat operating car. He says we don't know how to use the key. The vroom support team thinks who ever takes a self drive are uneducated in driving. This time it was us with a 5 time Indian nation motorsport racing champion.
The situation was so funny like they are teaching daddy how to produce children.
Now we paid an entire advance of some 7700/- and finally the manager could not provide us car not the Ford not the other one and asked us to cancel the booking for refund where they say it will take 10-15 days for refund with deduction in amount.
My request is to please go with a reputed self drive company for satisfactory service and we'll maintained car to avoid delay and loss of time or business.

Very cheap car renting platform. The security deposit that they take is non refundable because post returning the car they will find some issue and try to send you a bill more than the deposit. They also threaten you over the phone that we have your address. Cars are not at all washed. Tyres are not proper and the tyre pressure is not checked. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING THEM. IN BANGALORE YOU HAVE MUCH BETTER SERVICE THAN VROOM.

Replying to your response - The tyre pressure in all the tyres was less than 26 psi and the tyre got punctured in the middle of highway at a speed of approx 90 km/hr. The vehicle in that condition had to be moved from the right lane to the side of the road.
1. Your checklist sheet said that the tyre pressures were checked. Ideally, you lied.
2. What if a major accident would have happened because you did not put ample air in the tyre? Who would have been responsible? And this is a tubeless tyre which we are talking about which doesnot get damaged easily if the condition is proper
3. Why will the customer pay for a new tyre when the fault started from your end, you did not maintain it properly and the even with no air in the tyre the driver has to move the car from the road to the side of the road to replace it

My first self drive experience so not comparing with others. Booked at higher cost after reading reviews.
Good service at Banglore Airport.
Vehicle was more than 1.25 lakhs km old, still engine was well maintained. No problem whatsoever we faced for 5 days.
Got refund of security deposit on next day only, cut exact amount which we used in fasttag.
Cut one star as we expected well maintained exterior and interior which was not so even though it was costlier than other especially Zoomcar.

Booked an i10 grand for a trip to Pondicherry. The car given was in very good condition and the delivery was on time. There were no hidden charges and customer support was excellent. Keep up the good work.

One of the best rental car company. I compare all other car rental companies price, but the best deal I got is from Vroom Drive. Being an startup, they are the best and transparent. The best part is they don't have any hidden charges. Love to be the customer of Vroom Drive in future.

Very very bad experience I had. I had booked a hundai i10 from Marathahalli hub. First of all as a customer I had compare prices from zoom car and vroom drive for which I thought vroomdrive is giving me a better deal compare to other which is fare enough. When I checked in their app it was showing as 365km is free.and anything extra will be 9/km which was fair enough but when is have checked my bill they are showing as 82 km is excess of there is a decripency in the information provided on your app and actual u should inform your customer and more over when we go to the hub to give back the car little early they didn't even bother to inform the customer that the amount will be deducted as per hourly basis. VERY POOR LEVEL OF COMMUNICATION TOWARDS YOUR CUSTOMER HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Though car was in an amazing condition and very new and felt very smooth to drive but you guys need to communicate everything customer and the feedback which you guys have taken and assured to look into the communication towards your customer I highly appreciate and will look forward for the above

It was a good experience with Vroom Drive when we rented their cars for our trip to Mysore-Madikeri. Below listed is the summary of my experience.
Pros:
1. Really friendly staff and Customer Care Executives.
2. Car was clean inside/out.
3. Delivery and pick up feature is good and was on-time.
4. Transparent invoice system.
Cons:
1. One of the tyres was worn out which got punctured on the way and we lost considerable time to replace it (went with family and it was raining). Tyres need to be thoroughly checked and replaced at regular intervals.
Suggestion:
Please add more models to your fleet from maruti/toyota which have got good performance record.

I chose Vroom Drive as they were giving me for a better price than Zoom Cars. I was surprised by the service. I had opted for a Ford Ecosport and a drop service, the car reached my home on time. The service person was very friendly and professional. He helped with the onboarding. The car was very clean and new. Everything in the car was functional. I had a safe and comfortable drive and when I had to return it back the service person reached my home, picked up the car and fuel bills. In the next couple of days, my security deposit and my fuel bills were credited into my account. It was a pleasant experience.
The only feedback would be to improve the app to handle all services instead of using paper and pen like Zoom car does.

I have researched a lot and finally picked vroom service. The bilekahalli hub centre is close to my locality. The representatives were professional, friendly and supportive guys. The cars were maintained well and every time i had a fantastic ride. In a month i picked their service nearly 3 times. Most important is, if there is any discrepancy the support team will consider the obligation and works towards the favor of customer. VROOM - Best Price, Well maintained cars, great customer support and loyal to the customers. Good work.

Pro's: The pre-ride inspection was thorough and transparent, I felt reassured. The car itself was very clean and comfortable from the interior (lot of scratches outside though), with the AC working well. I had a very pleasant ride. The car delivery/pickup team was kind and pleasant to talk to, treated me and my family with respect.

Con's: I booked for 4PM and got the delivery at 4.45PM, started driving at 5PM. Very unreliable, especially since I needed this ride for the airport. Similarly, I wanted a pick at 10PM but had to wait until 11PM for the team to pick it up; I was tired and this was very inconvenient for me. Additionally, I had to constantly provide the delivery/pickup team directions to my house: this doesn't make any sense since VroomDrive has my address on file. Note that with all this hassle, there is an INR300 delivery/pickup charge.

Summary: Good cars, respectful staff, but unprofessional and unreliable execution results in me not using this service again.
