They're go surgery rest room we are waiting 8.00am to 4.00 pm after the will tell mechine not working today can't do after 3days came to surgery we are come 8 clock morning tooo much laging

First you have to take token from the outdoor of the hospital for that ppl have to provide their aadhar card number and registered mob number, after having token you can enter inside the hospital then you have to do entry for which disease and which department you want to connect.

Concern door number will be shared to you, you have to go there. Once you reach to concern room number have to do entry over there.

The best hospital to take yellow fever vaccine compared to C V RAMAN HOSPITAL INDIRANAGAR.
Visit hospital before 9 am on Monday.go to OPD BLOCK at the entrance take a token number and registration there, after u need to go to the PEDIATRICS BLOCK which is behind the NANDINI SHOP,
There they will enter the reason and amount to be payed, go back to OPD BLOCK AND PAY THE amount and come back with the receipt to PEDIATRICS BLOCK then they will start with procedure.carry ur PASSPORT AND adhar card

24/08/2023 At 2: 00 AM The lady doctor behaved rudely with us and told there is no chance of patient life they didn’t even checked or admitted giving a star is also a big thing for them never ever go there treatment zero

My house help’s husband goes here for dialysis 2ice a week. Only 1 dialysis machine is in working condition. Plz help as the number of patients undergoing dialysis are many and patients have to wait for hrs to get their turn…

Bad experience.have no sence how to talk with patients.very cruel.give the training.for such of these people.expecialy training doctors of other state.

24 July today My sister went on the problem regarding ear Pain, room no. 48 ear section, in the Afternoon around 2'clock, the female doctor treated rudely, didn't diagnosed properly, She said_️"We can't sit and watch you, we have so many works to do"️_ this words gives her very bad impression on the hospital & also hurts her emotionally. They don't have the commonsense on how to behave with patients.

I know this system will not change & improve until the govt take actions. Mangalore is one of the popular city in that this hospital also, many other states people come here for the govt free treatment they expect good hospitality, So the reputation of the hospital and also about the city shouldn't be get bad impression by these kind of Unmannerd Employees.

Very rude doctors, don’t have manners to talk. (Room 26, Room 81) Even staffs are very rude. I just came for a seal and they spoke to me rudely and one doctor said something and staff talk something else. We had to go to many room for one seal and waited for 5hrs.

People put inner cloths to dry on main road compound wall. No manners. The head of the hospital must check these things. Is this smart city

This hospital is good for all types of peoples. Doctors are good. Nurses are very rude and arrogant. My humble request to the management please assemble them and teach how to behave with patients and patients attender.other than all facilities are very good.

What I seen is in this hospitals the service is not good, staff behaviour is not good and they don't no value of time, not responding immidiatly, what I seen is this is like training center for medical students

It's a government hospital in mangalore offering medical services to Indians. Located in the central Mangalore. Covid vaccine booster doses are available and are administering everyday (covishield) & covaxin weekly throce. People can avail this facility. The hospital is following covid 19 protocol. Hospital is clean and doctors are doing their best to the patients.

Worst experience ever @skin department. Students are soo rude n they don't even know how to communicate with the patients.especially girls.
I don't recommend this hospital, especially skin department.

Visitors are not allowed during visiting time also. Food given to MICU patients are eaten by nurse, akka and brother. Or they will throw that but not giving to patient and patient party are not allowed to feed them.

Well equipped. Proper diagnosis. My son treated here for orthopaedic problem. And also his creatinine level reduced from 4.5 to 1.4 without dialysis. Experienced staff working in this hospital. Though it is government hospital it is like a private hospital.

Worst experience. Too much procedure.if u r healthy enough.please visit the hospital.u will get atleast high blood pressure will tell u check ECG.and u can come out of the hospital.with all diseases.and all the students who are not having any mbbs degree are treating the OP. All the best.

Wenlock District Hospital is a hospital in Mangalore, Karnataka, India.
Established in 1848, it was acquired by the Madras government in 1891.
It contains more than 1000 beds as of 2021. It is a teaching hospital of the Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore.

History -

The hospital named after the then governor, Beilby Lawley, 3rd Baron Wenlock was established in 1848 during the British Raj when Mangalore was a part of the Madras Presidency. After India's independence, the hospital came under control of the Madras State. In 1955, T. M. A. Pai, the founder of Manipal Academy of Higher Education established the Kasturba Medical College with Wenlock Hospital as the teaching hospital. Mangalore became a part of the Mysore state in 1956.

Teaching Hospital -

The hospital is India's oldest example of a public-private partnership in medical education. KMC Mangalore has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Karnataka to use the hospital as a teaching hospital and the college provides healthcare staff and laboratory facilities. The state, through the Karnataka Examinations Authority is the counselling authority for 20% of the MBBS seats at KMC Mangalore.

Very bad, One pt refered from Kasaragod, she need ventilator, in casuality they done after 1hour admission, when we are taking to icu there is no bed they telling and it's waited in ambulance again one hour, atlast pt condition when got bad they are taken to ICU now they are telling no hope

Come for biomedical equipment service under BMEM Project.looks good. Has good set up, dunno about patient care and upkeep. Neat and clean hospital.

Excellent vaccination experience today at Wenlock. No rush, very organized, only SMS recipients entertained for Covaxin, polite service, just 5 minutes wait, and 2nd dose done. Compliments to everyone who enabled such an amazing process and service!

Pathetic. They gave 1 st dose of Covaxin to my daughter and have not updated in Cowin site. She is unable to take her second dose in Maharashtra due to their negligence. The validity of 42 days is expiring today. Negligence on their part is affecting us mentally.

This hospital should be given negative 5. Worst staff. As per AGm they said they will provide covid report within 8 hrs for ppl who want to travel abroad. When I asked I got answer 3 days. Test validatiy itself 4 days and these people are crazy.

Treatement, cost and facility is very good for everyone. Dr. Pai was extremely patient and took care very well.

Treatment is good but there is no proper cleanliness surrounding the hospital. Crowded everytime you go for checkups. But registration fee is very low which is a good thing

One of the best hospital have ever seen. Though it is a government hospital which provides treatment with lot of care and concern with expertise surgeons. Had been there for my uncle's eye cataract surgery. Initial two days were really pathetic until you get an admission there as front desk people unable to guide you completely with their half knowledge and standing in the long queue for primary check ups, getting all the reports really tests your patience. Once you get a admission, you really experience lot of love and care by the nurses and PG's as they are soft spoken and takes complete care of the patients. We should really thank to the doctor who does the surgery as he takes the complete responsibility of the patients end to end and you could never ever get a single negative feedback on the doctor who really excellent, handles all the failure cases smoothly and they are BEST out of BEST, the every single corner of the eye ward says which has 14 beds with attached washroom maintained neat and clean. You end up leaving a bond between all the people around you in the ward while leaving. Last but not the least, M Friends Karunya charitable trust provides evening meal to the people staying with the patients really hygienic and tastes like home food, one must experience this. In private hospital, nurses acts like a doctors with lot of attitude in the current World as I had my own experience in Surathkal Sunil Kumar's clinic where the doctor is kind hearted but nurse who check out the blood shows lot of attitude and acts like we have gone for free treatment. Here I was really surprised we went for a government hospital and left with lot of memories with full love and care and end up with good bonding.

Its a governmemt hospital, provide all facilities to the poor patients.every departments are busy here.

Merits:
The cost of registration, medical test are low, hence good for All.
The hospital is located in the city hence easy to reach.
Doctors are also good.

Demerits:
Does not have all the medical test facilities hence tests have to be done from outside.
This hospital is not good for people who are coming from other places (outside Mangalore district) as the reports generation for test itself takes one day even for some simple tests.

Worst experience
After waiting in que for 90 minutes, when I reached the opd window she (the employee was ladies) told me to wait for another 30 minutes. After completing the alloted time I had enquired about my token. But at that time she became angry.

Not a tertiary care hospital. Not enough ICU beds. Nursing staff inadequate. Drugs often unavailable. Certain investigations are paid. Free only for patients with a BPL card.

Compared to all over India, this Govt hospital is very good, excellent facilities. On first visit, this place seems like a MAZE, difficult to find different OPDs, but once you work it out, finding OPDs becomes very easy.
Also hospital is very conviniently located in terms of modes of conveyance.

It is really good goverment hospital. Treatment of most of the kind given free of cost. Doctors and nurses are well qualified, caring and supportive. Many patients from the city, and also from outside the city are benefited by this hospital. To visit the in patients there is particular timings and that is inconvenient sometimes. There is lots of space for vehicle parking. Wheelchair is accessible.

There is a young lady (She’s from coimbatore) doctor in ward 9-11. When I questioned on one of major staff irresponsibility her reply was “This is common in government hospitals”

Its free facility helpful to poor people's. Doctors are testing a patient once in a day. Stuff nurses are maximum response for THULU language local people's, very less response for other district KANNADA language people's. Training doctors are trying only for their experience. Most of Doctors are don't know KANNADA language properly, So it difficult to discuss with Doctor and patient Claimant or takecarer.
Medicine surgery & treatment are also good & satisfied.
Improvement is needed in all aspects.
