Whispering Rocks Hampi

We had an amazing experience here, their food was amazing made by professional cook, and we enjoyed everything we ate here, loved the vibes and you will find nearby by beautiful sceneries. Owner was very friendly.

The Mushroom cheese omelette is amazing. The place has a vibe of its own. You can relax, eat and drink for hours on end. Their wifi passwords are usually hilarious.

Worst service ever, food quality was so poor, stays are so low quality stays, literally cockroaches and frogs in the rooms, behaviour of the staff towards their customers is unacceptable, worst experience ever!
Seriously not recommended!

I booked this considering I wanted to explore Hampi and didn’t want to spend too much on accommodation. The place is really secluded and located beside the mountain. An entire eco resort with greenery and tranquility around. The restaurant is amazing and the food’s must try. You can simply chill out at their cafe. Service was good and the staffs are friendly. Coming to the room, they are very basic so do not expect too much of kuxury and amenities. No geyser, no extra table, no mirror, no space to keep stuffs however, I personally feel all these can be provided at this price point. Additionally, if you happen to book online, they would check your booking amount before giving you the room. I booked a mountain view room from Agoda and I didn’t get that as they asked me the amount at which I have made the booking and alotted the room according to that. I didn’t argue because, I didn’t find it worth arguing. Overall, a 3 star rating to be honest.

Nice place, best food and very good service! If you go hampi this is the best place to stay… and location is completely comfortable! You will enjoy for sure!

We visited the restaurant. We had basil pesto and had some expresso. The pasta sauce was rich and tasty.
The expresso was good too.

Great ambiance and good food.
Only catch is its about 7 odd kms away from main Street and with no light at the night.

Absolutely bare rooms. Even TV, geysers are not available. Staff is courteous and food very good. The helpings are very generous. It caters mainly to foreigners. More like a jungle camp than a resort.

Located in the heart of Aanegundi village, this is a must visit place for lazing around with your group, enjoying sumptuous food and drinks as you do so. The staff is extra courteous and there's ample place to park.

The only negative is its not-so-straightforward location - its some 4km detour from the main road (where you see the only sign board), but the place more than makes up for it with hospitality. Floor seating arrangements mean you can actually lie down and take a nap while you're there - provided there isn't anyone waiting.

The Lime Mint Juice is a clear winner, particularly on sunny days.

I went with my friends. The restaurant has really calm and relaxing vibe. Food was outstanding, we tried pizza, burger, lasagna, pasta, chicken wings, chicken noodle and everything was tasty. Must try restaurant in hampi.

Not good. Location does not have any mobile network. Have to rely on the resorts' WiFi which is very poor in the first place.

Intercom not there hence have to walk all the way till their reception to ask for anything.

Basic facility of hot water in the morning is provided in the rooms. I had to personally fetch hot water from a common gas geyser in a bucket and have to carry the bucket myself. Had no choice, as to call for hot water I would have had to again walk all the way to the reception.

A homestay was much better that this place, which I checked into next.

Excellent place for a different vibe of place away from hustle of city. Laid back, with awesome restaurant in the form of German Bakery. The bakery is must visit for anyone visiting Hampi to try various cuisines, specially bakery items and Insta worthy dishes presentation

Pathetic experiance with this resort. Please do not visit this resort even if you had to stay in a jungle. The rooms are too basic and filled with frogs though rooms are very costly. There is no supply of hot water in the rooms. The owner of restaurant is very rude and arrogant. Overall it was the worst experience and the resort is not a proper location for a family vacation.ambience and food service is only better.

Some decent place, where you can find India’s and others a lot, and coffee is good here, they even serve alcohol

The only good thing about this place is its cafe. They have a big cafe with a variety of food available so you can go there but it is quite an isolated place and not safe to travel after sunset.

I have booked the rooms there to stay which cost me 3000/ day but rooms were worth not more than 500 rs as there were no facilities at all and even the bed was so uncomfortable that you won't be able to sleep. There was no network and wifi was available only in restaurants not in rooms also no hot water available in the room. No tea and coffee kettle. No cleaning facilities and room service so no one came to clean the room. I was not sure why they were charging so much for such a pathetic room.

The food here is awesome. If you are planning to go here with family, I would advise you to go on weekdays only. Most of the visitors are foreigners and liquor is allowed here.

Honestly best place in town to eat.
Went to a lot of horrible places but we came here twice, it’s real good.

Worst place. Rooms are below average. Not at all safe for families.food is good but the manager and staff are very arrogant.

Amazingggg stay. Highly recommend ed. The rooms are neat. The restaurant seating area was fantastic. We friends had amazing time relaxing for 3 nights 3 days. The staff are polite and helpful. The food was great. Pizza, Mexican, pasta, breakfast items.everything was top notch. One issue is they don't have geyser for running hot water.

Perfect get away place. Restaurant is very laid back and relaxing. There is scope to improve the rooms, but location, ambiance is very good. If you want to relax close to nature, this is perfect place. It is really whispering and relaxing. Restaurant chef is very good especially Italian and North Indian dishes are very good.

Very bad experience.
Rooms are okay but staff and service literally sucks.
They won’t allow you to drink your stuff in their common area and their beverage charges are almost like clubs.
Neither they will provide single bottle of water in the room for your stay nor glasses.
They will charge 30 per bottle of water and 30 per 200 ml soft drink bottles.
No hot water through taps.

The so called manager is Arrogant and roude he don't need customers.manager was trying to fight unnecessarily with us (may be bacause we are from Maharashtra). Place has no range for any network.wifi only work on reception area.not family friendly. Room service is zero.no hot water on morning. Food is ok ok if u want to travel friendly place to see all prime spots of Hampi get room near Verupaksha temple or in Kamlapur. Avoid the place at any cost if u don't want to spoil your Memorable trip. Chose wisely.

Best place to chill out with friends n family
Ambience is good n food quality and taste is nice.

Situated a little inside from main road. Until you see place, you don't believe it exists. Anyway good ambience, good food. Just like goa cafe in hampi. Feels good.

Great restaurant and food here. I would sat the rooms are average, but a very good option in Hampi. The food is exceptional and the restaurant has great ambience.

Please check out the German bakery at this place. It has amazing vibes and try the Hollo to the queen when you are there, it’s some you might have tried in dessert! Loved the place and it’s vibe ️?

The rooms are basic, but the ambience is super awesome and the food here we had was so delicious regardless of any item you order

Location is very interior, there is no proper road to reach there, you will not get any mobile network there and and the maintenance of the resort is very bad, rooms are very badly maintained, you will not get any room service and the condition of bathroom is very pathetic, just feels like some 500/- rs worth hotel, we got two ciggerate buds in the shop cover provided by him, when we complained about that we got the reply that it common here (chalta hai ye yahan), very bad attitude of the staffs
