Whistling Woodzs Jungle Resort in Dandeli

We had our MEDICAL COLLEGE BATCH GET TOGETHER at Whistling Woodzs Dandeli on 19th & 20th Jan 2023. The resort is located on the Kali River banks and it simply exotic. The room are excellant. The service is extraordinary. The food is good. The Hotel management is very cooperative and responsive. The conference hall is AC, has audio visual equipments, and can accommodate about 70-80 persons. We had our dinner on the lawns by swimming pool side. They had arranged a tribal dance by camp fire side which was icing on the cake. There are some free and some paid activities.the giant swing, sky cycling and Roller coaster zipline were enjoyable. We did not have time to do river rafting which is also enjoyable.
On the whole we had great time.

Peace, inside the jungle, jaw-dropping location, lip smacking food and decent rooms.

Very good place for stay. Best location property located in the midst of jungle and banks of Kali river. All the activities are in the primises.

The Place is good atmosphere is great! If you are very much interested in river rafting then check the water level then go.

Fantastic place to spend time with your family and friends. Good breakfast and lunch. Good number of activities. Nice restaurant at the river side.

1. The property is beautiful located on the banks of River Kali. On route to the property you will get lost as there no sign boards and few which are near to property are misleading.
2. Hospitality is worst, we opted for Tent for Two days
3. Tent which we opted was under a enclosed space, but they gave us outside in the open with tent torn, after repetitive follow up they closed the torn area of the tent.
4. As we opted for tent there was no service at all, despite our requests no one even cared for us. We were ready to pay for service
5. Bedsheets where not sufficient and night was extremely cold, due to which all of us got flu.
6. Whenever someone travels they expect the toilets to be clean. Toilets were maintained very badly and managements reply was there is a new block under construction. Toilets atleast 400m away from tent. After several request they cleaned the toilet but we were all skeptical to use it. I don't recommend it for family at all very worst, disgusting.
7. Basic amenities for taking bath no proper hangers or holders for tent occupants. As they were biased towards us. Don't know the exact reason, I suspect we opted for tent.
8. We went and requested for using toilet and bathroom at some additional cost they declined.
9. I hope management takes some action after going through these review comments.

Whistling Woodzs is located in a prime location in the serene landscape of dandeli.

Nice place. River view hotels rooms are Comfortable & neat.they have good amenities like cricket, badminton Karam swimming pool and sports activity. Food has to improve with quality & number of items. Activities should can be increased to good in number.overall

Service is Avg. Restaraunt food is avg. Nice location beside Kali river. Std rooms are below standard. Not worth the money for room's.

This is the place from where you could go for various water sports in dandeli.one should definately go for river rafting at kali river when you visit dandeli.

The location of the resort is awesome, however the management and service rather bad. Even a less costly resort serves better

Nice location and amenities, food not good. Need to improve service for the price they charge.

Ambience is good, no differences in facilities for premium (7000/person) and tents (1800/person) other than rooms. Activities should have been more (only fire camp, rain dance, pool and boating) for all customers. Food is nice but buffet should have included ice cream and fruit salads.

Amazing stay and amazing food in the middle of deep jungle.it's really whistling woodzs.

Its a good resort. It is a very good place to spend time in holidays. The staff and co are very good and friendly with their courtesy. Rooms are very nice and there is a river view, its very Awsome to see. The river view will be very awesome at the tea times especially in the morning because we can feel the sun raise at that time. There is a swimming pool and massage center. They created good parks.food and all is very nice to have. They provide both nonveg and veg as well. Its a buffet system over there. Everything like food, accommodation and all are included in the pack only. There is river rafting. Finally its a good holiday spot and good place for honey moon for the couples.

Rooms are not up to the mark, basic amenities, But location is awesome. Front office need to be more active.
