You cannot force someone to pay service charges… they ended up fighting as if we have taken money or something when we refused to pay the service charge (its not mandatory by GOI). When we asked to call the manager, the waiter called his colleague saying “you can talk to him, manager is bsy he cannot come”.
I use to like social, be it any city but since that day, with my bad experience at social phoenix mall bangalore, I never visited social again.

Pathetic service and attitude by Avinash Staff however manager was good and very decent guy.who got involved later.

Been to other outlets of Social and have loved the experience. But our recent visit to the Social at Pheonix marketcity was a bit disappointing. Mainly the ambience and the cutleries weren't upto our taste. Food was also average, had high hopes for desserts, esp the tiramisu, toffee chocolate pudding, but we couldn't finish the desserts since we didn't like the taste.

Overpriced and badly maintained. Restroom are not clean. Food was just ok. Ordered ghee roast paneer but it was deep fried and added some masala and gave it.

This place has interesting interior of jail. Food is also served in jail bowls.

Music is not too loud so little kids were fine and one can have good conversations as well.

Nachos and burgers were good. Pizza had taste of raw unflavoured ketchup so could be avoided.

Service to refill cutlery and napking could be improved.

Given its location in mall, a good place to have dinner.

Nice place to hangout. Food is really good. The achari paneer and jalapeno mac and cheese is amazing. The momos are not that great.

They really need to change the theme of their utensils. The jail plates and low quantity has been there for a while now.

Nice place for a catch up. It was almost full on a weekday as well. The outside was pleasent and the service was good with covid protocol in place. Overall liked it.

Cockroach infested lousy place. We had to change our table twice after we had ordered our food because we had cockroach visiting on the tables. It seems it is pretty regular there as the staff didn't look alarmed at all at the sight of cockroaches. They just picked it using a tissue paper and walked away. We had to ask for a change of table both times. Its ok to have a dim lit and casual ambience but that does not mean hygiene can be compromised upon.

Good food, good service. They maintain the covid protocol pretty well unlike other locations. Definate please to visit with friends.

Complete waste pf money. Food is very expensive. Over that they mandatorily force customers to pay service charge which is clearly voluntary as per govt.norms. Complete waste of time and money.

I wanted to give 4 star, But deducting one because of staffs here. Serving was not good.

The place is not the same anymore. Used to visit this place on a regular basis pre covid, but now this feels like a shadow of its former self. Drinks and food are still ok but not the same anymore

Visited the place on a Saturday evening. The food and the drinks we ordered were underwhelming. While my friend ordered an alcoholic drink (Cosmo-Explosion) which wasn't all that great, the mocktail I ordered (Pink Cream) just tasted like Real's Guava Juice. The Fully Loaded Nachos and Hash Browns were delicious, however, the 4 Cheese Tandoori Pizza tasted like papad with a bit of cheese on it. If you don't drink and eat meat (like me), I'd suggest you to think twice before visiting as options would be limited. Even if they might seem plenty (to you), I really wonder if they'd give you a good bang for the buck. Of course, this is a personal review, so please use your discretion.

The pizza here was awesome. The Burger not so great, expected to have a big juicy one but the one I got was mediocre. The new scan menu (a little off-putting. Having to use your phone for each repeat or new order feels a little cumbersome) seemed a little limited.

You want some quick nap before you get your order or before you get the attention of any waiter? Definitely choose this place. Come here for lunch and you will served nicely by dinner.
Haven't seen a snail paced staff specially when the entire place is hardly near to being full.
Speed up guys, slow and steady don't win the race anymore.

A very impolite staff, inspite of having a ton of tables, we were shown to a shabby looking corner. And the management seems not to care for the comfort of the customers and needs to really work on their hospitality.

Social is ️. In the mall it is always busy and takes 10min time to get a table.

While the food is standard, the service of this place is what caused the experience to be so bad. My order of 2 main courses took 40 mins from ordering to delivery at the table. This was followed by an order of a side which took 30 minutes to deliver. What was disheartening was I had to follow up twice on both occasions to get the food, and I wasn't even give an ETA. I don't think I will be visiting this place in the future.

While Social is known to be a great place to hang out at with friends and colleagues, you can also catch a bit of peace and quiet if you arrive early (just after it opens, say around 11 am on a Saturday). This has the benefit of more attention from the staff.

The drinks are great, but so is the food. Catch the Punjabi breakfast if you are in the mood for something heavy.

The only downside, I suppose, is the comparatively slower food service. Most of the food is prepared fresh, especially things that require grilling, frying or a tandoor so this is to be expected.

Thoroughly enjoyed the 1st sojourn out after 18 months. Good liquor and enjoyable food made it really worth it, reminding us of what we'd seriously missed.

One of the best pubs in Whitefield. Great music and great food. Crowd is always welcoming and yes it's kids friendly too.

Food is great but the service has gone down post COVID. Long wait times for ordered food to be delivered at table. Some food items are delivered at wrong table but was charged to us.

Highly expensive and the food is very bad. They are charging 120 rupees for a water bottle, 345 for an hopeless butter chicken biryani. Staff don't even care about the customers.we asked for water but didn't get it even after 40 mins. Don't even think to go here it's just a place for show off.

The location is great. The ambience and rustic feel is fantastic. Food so so, service not up to the mark. I don’t complain the crew as the crowd is so high to handle.

Whitefield Socials is basically hyped up for whatever reasons. Place is crampy, crowded with bare minimum cheapest interiors and cutlery.the prices charged in high and they fleece with a mandatory 10% service charge which is illegally levied and not at all worth it.

Nice place, good food, decently priced and great hospitality of staff. Overall a good go to place if u want to enjoy good time n ambience.

How can you not have a smoking zone guys? Don't you think a considerable amount of people smoke when they drink? I know it's not healthy, so let's skip that part.your other branches do have a smoking zone like Social Kormangala. Then why not this one?

The place I always love. Try their Long island ice tea which you will really fall in love with.food is amazing and the way they serve will take you into a nostalgic world.very friendly staff.really an awesome place!

Did not have a good experience. The service was poor. Tea ordered by my freind was not at all worth the price both in quality and quantity. Ice tea was served in a bath tub shaped container which was uncomfortable to drink from (could have been served in a traditional glass). Food was okay. Nothing extraordinary.

The ambience and all is fine but they served us fish and chips fried in bad coconut oil. There was a stale smell to it. When we complained they canceled the order coz they told us that this is how is served (which I doubt should be the right way) the oil was stale and it smelled pretty bad.
We also ordered a chicken sizzler which was decent and some chicken kebab which wasn't great. Overall we were not happy with the food here.
Also the loos are extremely dark and spooky. Perhaps it's part of the ambience n all but it was really very depressing and can get scary especially for ppl with claustrophobia. Frankly, I wouldn't go here again, the other socials in the city are way better.
