Wild Stone Hampi

Pluses: good location (in empty surroundings, among nature), reasonable rates (may get high in december last week), newly constructed, clean, basic cottages, above average food (taste and variety)
Negative: Frequent power cuts, even during morning hours when hot water is needed. Some of the times we found they are switching off the power, so no hot water was available.

I just loved the ambience. We two family went to stay for 2 days in North Hampi and we had an amazing time there. The resort is closest to the Sanapura village and the dogs in the resort are so friendly.

Coco the eldest of the three is really lovely and friendly.

The owner of the property, Varun is really nice and helps us in arranging anything that we requested for and the food is really good.

Stay was very good, the owner of this property is to friendly.
Full of greenery around the property. Well maintained. Food was good with nominal price. ️

It's almost 35km Hospet and 20km from hampi

Auto will charge you 800 rs / side

Stay is average, food was worst, and charges are very High (boild egg cost you 90 rs) more than 5* hotel

Owner was very rude and money minded! Always talk about money, money money

Don't spoil your trip by staying here! You will get better place around hampi!

Very Good Experience & Hygienic from food as well as environmental side.
Mr. Varun is a very nice host.he will make sure you get to know everything and feel comfortable at his homestay.
A must visit homestay when you visit Humpi.

From morning tuktuk pickup from the bus stand to the property and renting a moped
The property is located in the paddy fields with Rocky boulders view, it's just 5min walk from the sanapur bus stop and waterfalls.
The stay was relaxed + with hot water in the shower as most of the properties don't have it in the area.
It was my 3rd visit to hampi and I had good time.

Facilities are less and connectivity is poor
Food quality and taste are horrible
I can rate 1/10 that too for the location and nothing much

Without own vehicle it’s too difficult to stay in this property

We a batch of 9 family members age ranging from 22 to 62 stayed for 2 day. Our stay was very comfortable and safe, staff were very friendly, cooperative and jovial, we had only the breakfast in the morning it was OK.we recommend this guest house for families who wish to visit Anjanadri hill (birth place of Anjaneya) also Hampe.
We had a special experience sleeping in the tent.

This place is amazing as it is not surrounded by populated area. Food is good and the staff at the cottages are really friendy including the owner. It was a great stay.

Nice place to stay. Beautiful Paddy Field, nature and Stone hill around the restaurant Owner Varun is very friendly, helping and cooperative person. He arrange auto (800/-) from Hospet railway station to his restaurant, one day site scene to Hampi (1300/-) and Bike Rent for one day (450/-) in affordable price for us. Clean and nice place to stay. Restaurant is very neat and clean and we spent good amount of time in evening with low lights and music. Staff are very cooperative. Enjoyed a lot in my 2 day stay with family. Thank you Varun

Its gonna be informative and pls do read my review for genuine feedback. Okay, ler me start off! When we tried searching for a stay in hampi, we came across "wild stone" as we wanted that space and quality time to be spent because u deserve it! I personally do not like commercial places with crowd hence i prefer the places with less crowd and this place never made me unhappy! Its a bit secluded, and far from the main-road (which is much needed to keep away from traffic sound and disturbance) coming to the staff- Varun (mgr) and workers Chinna, vinod are just awesome! The hospitality and the way these guys received us were soo warm! And there's one rowdy fellow- coco (lab-dog) i personally fell in love with the staff cz the affection and the attention shown towards the dog are really appreciable! Basic food and is enjoyable! If you r planning for a holiday i'd recommend you to try wild-stone! For family, friends this is a perfect one you have enough space in frnt of your huts to play ur fav songs, sit talk, enjoy nature! This the kind of freedom and liberty we want when we go on a trip!

This place is good for stay, they charged us 500 per person, per day and allowed 3 people in 1 room. They charged 500 extra for extra mattress (3 days). These are basically small huts with bed and table. They have personal washrooms. All the basic amenities were there. The washrooms were western and cold shower (no geyser). But the food here is very normal and not that great also the service is very basic. So from stay perspective it's really good as it has a lot of open space and give a 360 degree view. Also outside food is strictly not allowed here. My last opinion is same its a good location for stay but don't expect anything else all meals and food I would advice to plan at nearby restaurant and local places.

The stay has a good view of the hampi boulders and the rooms are very clean. Overall a good stay in hampi with a really entertaining and well behaved doggo (kukko)

Awesome n heavenly peaceful place, Stay was Pleasant Food is also very tasty Must try Bullet Chicken. Owner and Staff very helpful. Overall Best Place near by Surroundings.

Best weekend getaway place situated in a very beautiful location, with a near by sunset points and sanapur reservoir, well maintained, and the host varun did a great job in getting the things right from the start.highly recommend place.taste of food is very good and chicken bullets is a must try dish. Mobile connectivity is very good at the resort along with good wifi facility.stay is also very reasonable in such a beautiful location.

The place is good and clean, however the prices are heavy considering the kind of stay and fcailities available.we spent 1000 for overnight (It's huge considering we are students).
Second, Food is average and price is also heavy. It costs 30 for single roti and quantity served is also less.
The owner has misguided us that the Hampi was closed and there's nothing to see there. He told us to stay there the next day and also gave a false Information that mathanga hill was infestedby wild animals. We were reluctant to believe this and went hampi next day morning. Mathanga trek was a best thing and there were seriously no animals leave aside wild animals. And except the virupaksha temple all the others places were open for the visitors. We understood that it was the plan of the hotel owner to make us pay for breakfast and lunch next day if we stay there.
But the thing is, Considering all the hotels and homesatys at hippie laland this is slightly better.
If you are money conscious and Want to taste good food, try eat it near hampi. It is affordable as well as tasty

One of the beautiful and affordable stay in Sanapur and close to hampi. Everything is perfect about this stay for a nature getaway. Starting with the perfect location, the simple yet beautiful rooms, the food and the service. And you get to be closer to the raw, lesser explored places of hampi.

It was awesome staying at Wild Stone. Getting lost in the Hampi boulders was a great experience. Highly recommended.
