WINDMILL HOMESTAY

Wonderful wonderful stay. The bed rooms and bathrooms were neat and clean. The place was very serene. The front side of the homestay has ample space and me and my kids played football and cricket. All of us tried zip line built by Mr Naveen and we all loved it. The home cooked food was delicious and so was the coffee.
Mr Naveen and his wife made our stay very comfortable. The best part was the whole experience was very homely.
The place and the hosts deserve the 5 star rating. Will definitely recommend this place.

Memories of the last stay in Windmill haunted me & my wife. Believe me you cannot stop with just 1 visit:) So after the COVID break decided to spend 2 days here in December 2022. You will immediately feel at home soon as you reach this beautifully maintained Homestay, true to the name. Mr Naveen & his wife will ensure you get the best hospitality possible within their capacity. This time we had the chance to witness how coffee, grown in his property, is processed. We are a fan of his Windmill coffee brand.dont miss to buy few packets before leaving. Its hard to find that taste outside. Mr Naveen is a DIY person & the new cottage is tastefully designed by him, infact I got to know he even built the entire steel foundation structure by himself. It was a wonderful, yet another memorable stay for us & our teenage kids. You will also enjoy the home cooked, delicious food that Naveen’s wife Prathi madam prepares (BF, snacks & Dinner) …one can feel the love with which its made. They also have a short zip line, again installed by Mr Naveen last time we were there, we got to even test it So to sum up, if you are looking for a mesmerizing, comfortable, clean & tidy place to stay that will make you feel at home with all the privacy you need, don’t look anywhere else. You wont find, I bet. I can go on and on but will let you explore the place yourself.

Superb place to rest and rejuvenate in the laps of nature.
The host- Naveen and his family are super warm and courteous. Host offered to set up a bonfire for us even very late in the night upon our arrival at the place at around 1: 00am.
Th home cooked meal by Mr Naveen's wife is scrumptious and full of local flavors. Moreover, the mam was kind enough to provide us with extra coffee upon request.
Mr. Naveen also showed us around his coffee estate and explained the process of coffee making which was an enthralling experience in itself. Moreover, the decor of most of the place is done by the man himself and is simply beautiful.
It was one of the best stays I have enjoyed during the holidays so far. And one definitely needs to have this one on their itinerary.

A peaceful place with pure homemade food. I must say this is very nicely decorated with love.

Windmill homestay is a true place for nature lovers. If you are looking for digital detoxification.it is the place. One thing which you will fall in love with is food. Many thanks to pratima ji for such dedication in preparing and Naveen ji for hosting it.

Excellent stay, Beautiful hosts Mr & Mrs. Naveen, wonderful location, delicious food, neat and tidy rooms with all the facilities, perfect place for nature lovers the location is a midst nature between the tall trees and coffee plantation. Throughly enjoyed the stay with family, wonderful place for kids, couples, elders, friends. Would definitely love to go there again.

Though i have visited a number of homestaysi n chikmagalur, this will be one of my favourites.the cozy rooms.lovely sit out.walk through the indoor garden to the dining area.the detailing given to everybit of this home is an amazing experience.hospitality. MR&Mrs Naveen u guys are the best hosts.the akki rotis and all the malnad cuisine were mouth watering.we are definetely coming bk in the monsoon.few memories to be cherished forever

We had a lovely stay here. Naveen and his family were very warm and welcoming. The home stay has all the facilities and very good food. The estate is very beautiful and peaceful. The highlight of our stay was the fireplace and the evening snacks.

I highly recommend Windmill Homestay. Mr Naveen and his wonderful wife are amazing hosts. Their Beautiful house is surrounded by coffee plantation and we absolutely loved exploring their gigantic estate. Their rooms are really comfortable and the food is truly delicious. The owners are willing to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. If your on your way to Chickmangaluru I would recommend staying at The Windmill Homestay.

Very nice place. Peaceful and calm. Feels very relaxing. A perfect getaway after the Monday to Friday office work.

A must visit relaxing location, the rooms have a nice charm. The common area space is very artistically setup. Loved the wooden carvings, bonsai and the antique traditional touch to the place. The food being tasty and traditional. Had an enjoyable walk through the plantation. The hosts too were very warm and welcoming. It was a wonderful experience.
