Recently hired them for my daughter's birthday. I found them not sticking to their commitment, unreliable and their quotations are so vague that they say this is what we mentioned at the time of the event.

We were charged designing fee - and we shared a reference pic to Joanna for inspiration. The so called designing fee went on to just using the same image we shared - printed on a large canvas. It was so pixelated that it was easily noticeable from 50 feet away) The least you can do is at least try to search for a similar or same pic on google with a higher resolution.

I'm no event planner, but I know a thing or two about design. Here's my advice to the team.

1. When you go get something printed, you never fold it. Especially flex sheets which are hard to get fold marks off. You roll them so there are no fold marks when you install them on a frame.

2. When you want to design something - watch for fonts, alignment and most importantly resolution of the print ready document. What I noticed was the prints were pixelated even from a distance of 30 - 50 feet.

3. Learn to get your designs reviewed by your client to make sure you understand that they indeed like it, and ask if they'd like something changed!

4. Learn to visit the venue, do your analysis and then take a call on whether or not you can stick to your commitments for a given quote. If you cannot work with the quote, inform your client and politely explain why that is the case instead of surprising them on the day of the event with something that isn't what they asked for. I paid 75k and i really don't see value from what was delivered. I will post pics in a bit.

5. Do not blame it on the client. Clients get you business. Joanna has confirmed in writing about a few things that did not transform to reality on the day of the event, and she it blamed on my wife that my wife was informed about it. Our understanding was completely different. In fact, a specific requirement was mentioned several times, and discussed several times on call too.

Guys, do yourself a favour and hire someone else unless you want to regret your decision. Either that, or do not pay these event planners upfront. Hold off until you see that you've indeed got what you were promised.

Also - I believe they called my wife a few days later informing that a couple of vases went missing after the event planners packed their stuff. This is outright ridiculous. We've handed over the stage to Joanna's folks at exactly 9: 20 PM as it started to rain. I have verified the last picture (with time stamp) taken on the stage, and everything that was told was missing was intact - exactly where they were placed! Please reach out to us for proof and we will share the pictures.

It is not my job to watch the event planning guys pack everything after we hand over the stage to them. Especially after such a lousy job. It is their responsibility to make sure they have everything before they leave the venue. And if they did see something missing, it is definitely their responsibility to inform us on the spot. Not days later.

I had the pleasure of working with Joanna and the rest of her amazing team. Joanna was very professional and was always available to handle any of my questions and concerns. Joanna listened to all my ideas and concerns.
She and her team stepped right in to make sure my idea was executed as planned so I didn’t have to worry. Everyone raved about the event afterwards.

Creativity at it's best! The wired expressions team never failed to amaze me with their ideas and attention to details. It was a walk in the park after handing it over to Joanna, who ensured to follow up regularly and pulled off a great job with the decor at my Nephew's 1st Birthday. It was a well planned event. Joanna did a glass painting workshop session for kids. Best part was, she managed the chaotic crowd of kids so well. The kids were very happy. Punctuality was maintained. Thanks a ton jo.
