Worst service and mainly there is not enough staff to take orders and provide service on time.only 1 member they kept for entire floor for taking orders and same person will provide service also

Good place for a sunday morning breakfast ride/ drive. Popular among bikers and ideal for sunday leisure drive. Good crowd. Food was ok, definitely very costly as per quality and taste perspective. Ambient is super, with open cafeteria model and plenty of parking space. Its a go to place for a relax sunday morning away from city

I was at the restaurant for a short break. I ordered some Lemon Ice tea and it was amazing.
You can also find some south Indian dishes here like idli, dosa, uttapa etc.
It's a good stop to have a quick bite or snacks.

The food is bad, I don't know but the taste is not up to the mark.

Had ordered north Indian veg and south Indian veg they vegetables was not good.

Just that the rotis and puris were freshly made, rest everything tasted like it was a day ago.

Anyways there are plenty of restaurants on the main road. This place can be avoided.

Price is high. Food taste is good but not all food items. Onion pakoda was really bad taste. Dosa items is good

Horrible service. Waiter in the service area provided the worst service I've seen so far. Lots of attitude and no intention of serving the customer. Wrong orders, wrong bills and no patience or capability to accept his mistakes.

The one goto place for having food after shopping in commercial street. This restaurant has been in operation for a very long time since my mom was in college. They are famous for their special madur vada which is a must try. On the side you can have juices or fresh lime soda. There are meals, chat and other options available too. But madur vada is a must try. Must visit if in commercial street.

We ordered buter Nan, was good but panner butter masala was old, and veg fried rice, quilty and quality, no teast, it was spelling, at least tea also weast.

A restaurant dating back many many years… the service and taste of food is good even to this day. Would recommend this place for a nice meal or even a quick bite after or in between shopping at Commercial street.

Woody's has become the most horrible place than before! Please improve your service and taste and quality of the food and coffee should be served clean.cups were really dirty and during this covid time it's more dangerous to even dine here anymore.staff hygiene is not there.better management is required at this place.language issues with the staff.very bad over-all.

There are less or no vegetarian restaurant nearby. Due to this, the place is tooo much crowded. Parking is limited, plan accordingly.
Prices are on higher side, taste is really good. Service needs to be little quicker as too many people will be waiting for their turn.

Visited after shopping! Had varieties of Chats and snacks. Lower floor is Self serve area whereas upper floor for table service. They also serve tiffin menu. Overall the taste of the dishes we ordered were good. Good staffs. Place was also cleanly maintained.

Dosa we ordered was not hot. Stupid Dosa at ₹150, A small quantity and tasteless Schezwan Fried rice at ₹160.

Situated in commercial Street, crowded, better to take self service as service is not good enough. May be this is because of over crowded.

Though this is one of the oldest places in Bangalore, and their food is to die-for, the service seems to be getting slower and improperly managed. Minus that, it's a great hunger-stop amid a shopping spree at Commercial Street.

We have ordered variety of foods like paper masala dosa, chhole bhature, dahi vada, samosa chat, goli bhajji n coffee.everything tastes good.

Honestly. Worst to have ghee roast masala dosa. That's what I had there. Udupi has better dosa. Even Vada. It wasn't even hot. They said crispy.but not even near to crispy. Never gonna step inside that place.

If you are from Bangalore you would have definitely seen Woodys or eaten here as a kid. It’s been here for decades and never disappoints. Not all items are good. But for snacks and lunch there are lots of varieties to choose from.
It’s self service, okay price (not too cheap or too expensive) and VEG ONLY.

Today, we went to Woody's restaurant, seeing that every one, inside, was having face mask. We took pao bhaji and chole bhature. Both were horrible. Bhaji was not anywhere close to bhaji and so were chole. Bhatura was full of oil. In short total waste of money

Worst experience, ordered paneer chilli and pav bhaji both were served very cold. Paneer was pathetically lousy and dry.
Best to avoid this place at all costs.

Worst experience no worth at all for what you pay.
They charge Rs. 230 per meal which is worst I ever had in Bengaluru.
No idea why they charge so much for South Indian meal where they don't even have proper handwash.
Please avoid (never visit) visiting this Hotel when you go next time to Commercial street.

Visited today at commercial street and shocked with the quality of the food served. Dosa is bad and chutney is worst and not fresh.
Baby corn initially said not available, but later said available. He prepared something with little quantity with him and taste is horrible.
Even Rasamalai is not fresh.
Overall worst experience and informed the guy about it. He admitted chutney is not fresh.

Convenient location with really spicy add-ones - maybe to reduce the consumption.
It's a self-service counter. Prices are not justified with the service offered.
One can check out the alternates in the same vicinity.

One of the worst chocolate milkshake I drank here.
This is a total bankrupt too.

Pathetic food. Neer dosa was not cooked and the coconut chutneywas spoilt. Soup was nothing but water. One small cup of water melon juice costs 100 rs. Exorbitantly costly and very poor quality

Nothing great about it on the food. Self service area stools are old, need maintenance. One cannot sit and eat on the unbalanced seat.

There was no one guide you to how things are done or what you need to do to order food, the flooring and staircase seems hazardous. The food as well was average.

Only place in commercial Street where you can have a good snack, a masala dosa or even a meal. Reasonable, good ambience and a big place.

The food is very expensive and takes for ever to serve. We have ordered samosa and Mirchi baji. The food was cold and baji was cold and stale. Not recommend at all. Instead go for some street food.

Woody's always used to be "THE" go-to place whenever we visit commercial street.
But the last visit was super disappointing. We sat in the AC hall in the first floor, and the service there was so terrible.
The south-indian dishes that we ordered were good but NEVER am i ever going to order chinese there. The Gobi-manchurian and the schezwan noodles both were the worst I have ever tasted.
The waiters there were super lethargic, to serve a bowl of extra chutney could take them 10 mins and 3 reminders.
Oh and if ever you need to visit the washroom there then be ready for a maze.
P. S. I am never going to visit woody's ever again after this experience.

We liked Masla Dosa, Sambhar & chutney and Filter Coffee,
howeve we had to wait for Masala Dosa for some time. Poori was quick but OK.
We sat at ground floor, ambience looks like old restaurant which we liked

Hadn't expected myself rating Woody's a 2 star. But the last time I had chats here, the Channa was spoilt, the puri smelt like it had fungus.

I am seating in the resturant since 1 hour, no one attending yet even after going and telling no glass of water god knows when we will get food.

On a busy commercial street, this seems to be a treat for veggies. Prices are bit jacked up for obvious reason. The glass shaped idly (or rice kadubu) is very soft. Ambience seems good. Double floored. Make sure to stir the tea if you are a sweet tea lover. Two small fish ponds on the right side of entrance. Overall a good place.

It is such a relief that there is one such eating joint in commercial street. It is at a convenient spot where one can get decent food when you are so tired and hungry after shopping so much. It is easy to locate. It has ample place to sit, relax and enjoy your food.

Too much rush, food is not bad, can't compare to fine dining but better than fast food joints, cheese dosa was superb

There is no place to have Tiffin's in comm street except Woody's and fortunate, the food is really good.

Takes forever for the food to be served to your table. Food wise it's good. You will loose your temper when you walk in hungry

Horribly bad and expensive. Just because of the location it sees many people. New people come here and feel cheated and disgusted. 90 for a small masala dosa, 55 for 2 idlies. Tea is the worst I ever tasted. I returned the first batch of tea and he tried again but failed miserably for the 2nd time. Finally he was nice to return the money for tea which costed 25 each. With the nice location I expected at least the dosa to be nocer paying 90 bucks. I make better dosas at home then this place. Sambar and chutney was not tasty at all.

Pathetic place! Still running only for name the secured earlier! Go only if u want to have South indian dishes! Not worthy to hv fried rice, noodles, Chinese appetizers and quantity is very less.even a "meals on wheels" wala can prepare better mushroom Manchurian!

The worst restaurant in Bangalore. Tried this looking at the classic vintage ambience but the food was utter waste.couldn't even eat the food that we ordered. The vegetables (tomatoes and mushrooms) in the food were rotten. The ketchup and sauce that they provide were also in bad condition. Wouldn't suggest anyone to have food here.

A restaurant with ancestral identity, Ooty tourist accommodation, a variety of idly with glass shape, different tiffin items, all with a unique taste n hygiene, a nice place to relax after tiring shopping on the commercial st.

Ordered pav bhaji and fried rice. Worst food service and seating arrangements are pathetic. Food is so pathetic you can't even rate 1. Without any choice I'm rating 1 out f 5. Actually roadside food is far better. I would not recommend for this hotel to anyone.
For management please change your staff and rates.
