Easiest path to Yana Rocks. In a couple of years this trail will develop into road, till the Yana Rocks. Trek from Kumta is difficult compared to this trail from Sirsi.
Lot of Parking available. Restroom by Forest Department is just basic.

There's a small hike/walk to the Yana rocks view point/Yana temple. It's not much of a hiking from here. I think the walk/hike is more if you chose the other way (There are two ways to reach Yana cave temple/rocks - from this location - the Sirsi side, and the other one from Kumta. Looks like Sirsi side way is an easy and small trekking.
There's an entry fee of 10 Rs per head, and parking charges of 40 Rs for car. There's no network here, and they take only cash. So get the cash as needed.
When we visited (on a weekday), the guard/ticket issuer arrived approx.at 9.30 AM. Not sure what to do before that.:)
Yana is a beautiful location. It's worth the visit.
