ఇది ఒకప్పుడు ఆంధ్ర లో ఉండేది. భాషా ప్రతి పదికంగా విడిపోయే సందర్భం లో కర్నాటక రాష్ట్రం అయినది.
అక్కడ నారేయణ స్వామి అనే గొప్ప మహాత్ముడి సమాధి ఉన్నది
ఇది బెంగళూర్ నుంచి చింతామణి కి వెళ్లే రూట్లో చింతామణి కి 12 km ముందు కైవరం క్రాస్ రోడ్ వస్తుంది. అక్కడ నుంచి లోనికి 3km దూరం లో ఉన్నది కైవర (కైవరం) నారేయణ స్వామి సన్నిధి. అద్భుతం.
వాతావరణము సాధనకు అత్యంత అనుకూలం.
పారాయణ, జప, ధ్యానాలకి చాలా చాలా అనుకూలమైన ప్రదేశం.

Sweet little religious getaway place for weekends near Bangalore. It is about 65 kms from Bangalore and is situated amongst a group of hills. Accommodation facility is available and two free meals per day is served to all visitors. Also there is small national park attached to this place. There was once a huge lake next to this ashram but is now completely dry. Best period to travel - between august and February

Very peaceful and heavenly place. All facilities for people is at the best and people are very friendly. Climate is good. Many places to visit. People thinking of a single day trip can prefer it.

This temple is very old where kaiwara Thatha (Yogi Nareyana) jeeva samadhi is there, many poojas are performed and prasadam is distributed at afternoon and night time.
