Very disappointed with the service at yogisthan. It took 1 hour 30 minutes for our order to arrive. We had to repeatedly go to the counter and ask them. The response was always the same. Dont think of going to this place unless you are ready to wait for the order for 2 hours.
Ambiance is good. You could relax yourself here as it is very calm place. Very beautiful environment.
However food is worst and very expensive. We ordered pasta which was awful bad in taste, if you are foodie, not recommended. If you want to work, read, write stories then this place is for you.
Yogisthaan offers an exquisite dining experience where every bite is a celebration of flavors. The menu boasts an array of dishes that tantalize the taste buds, leaving one spoilt for choice. Each dish, crafted with precision and passion, embodies the essence of culinary artistry. The ambiance invites tranquility, providing a perfect backdrop for savoring the delectable offerings. The attentive and friendly service adds a delightful touch to the overall experience, ensuring a memorable visit. Yogisthaan undoubtedly stands out as a culinary gem, where exceptional food meets impeccable service in an inviting atmosphere.
This is the Wonderful place to relax, chill with family combined with totally outstanding, healthy and mouth watering meals. The idea of the set up is completely different from what you get in restaurant and food points usually. One should visit.
This place comes highly recommended, especially for those who appreciate minimalistic aesthetics. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully served in traditional brass plates and cups. The ambiance is incredibly cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to relish both the calmness and delectable cuisine. The service is excellent, and since it's situated within a quiet neighborhood, it offers a tranquil atmosphere. Just a heads-up: you need to place your order at the counter and remove your shoes before entering. I can't recommend the aloo parantha and happy juice enough – they're must-tries!
Simply superb and impressive space around. Quiet simple and silent nature around, away from materialistic clutter but very much filled with spiritually inclined positive vibes from furniture to serving food and photos around bring a differnt vibe to every visitor,
It was decent, but there were so many mosquitos I couldn't sit in peace for a moment, and their minestrone soup was (although quite pleasant) nothing like minestrone! I also saw them chase a very cute cat away quite rudely, which I suppose I can understand but it did make me sad. Somehow threatening cute animals with implied violence doesn't really fit in with the otherwise peaceful vibes of the place.
Good food and tea, food is healthy and wide variety of tea available here.
Ambience is okayish, I did not like that they make you remove your shoes outside - even though the inside is not clean enough for bare foot. Its an open area after all, leaves and dust all over. Seating does not have clean mats either.
Service is pathetically slow. They claim to cook everything home style, from scratch and all. Whatever it is, it is super slow.
Today I was asked to leave the place because my dog barked (maybe 3 or 4 times) and it was disturbing their owner who was doing Pooja inside. I couldn’t even complete the food I ordered. They claim it to be pet friendly but they DO NOT know how to respect their customers. They had no problem when other groups were laughing loud. If you guys have a problem with a dog barking, you shouldn’t make it pet friendly just for marketing. Horrible staff (showed disrespect) and worst experience ever! It’s a shame!
This review is specifically wrt their online order delivery. I had placed an order (number 96) on 12th Sep and made full payment of 600 rupees. When I called them up to inquire about the delivery time, they said they would send the product the same day. Since I stay in the same city, it should have reached me within a day or two. I waited for 4 days and the product did not arrive. When I called them up again, their manager said they have an issue in the site and they do not know the details of order. I had sent an email to which I did not receive any response. The manager did not even have access to the email which they have given on their website for contact! I gave them my address to send the product to. They said they would send the product through Dunzo immediately, But they have not done that either! When I called them up again, the person at the end of the line said he cannot understand English and did not offer any help. So essentially Yogi-staan has an awful online ordering and delivery system. Their owner is obviously careless about it. He is not reachable, is not accountable. Everything that a Yogi should not be. I do hope they begin charity at home and change themselves starting from their owner.
The service and staff is good and friendly, however the food is not. We ordered the fig salad which costs around Rs 200+ All it had were four-five pieces of dried figs and the rest was just plain lettuce and red cabbage. It was so dry and unappetizing. We went to order a soup and the hash potatoes too. Everything was dry and not delicious at all.
They took 30 mins to serve our first 2 dishes & then another 20 mins to serve the next main course & juices. Better to visit when one has ample time in hand.
Really calm place. Great music, great food for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They are located near the Indiranagar BDA complex in a very quite & peaceful residential locality.
Overall great experience, ambience and food. I would rate service 2/5 though, could be improved. Maybe I visited at a time wherein they were short staffed
The best part about the place is that it's a pet friendly place and there's a vintage model car too in the cafe.
the decor theme is yogis, there were portraits of yogis and clean and nice white tables and chairs, a yoga studio, pooja room, they even sanctified the place with sambrani
Food is healthy and without oil. 5 star for it. Didn't understand why we have to remove footwear. If it's temple, then anyways u have common slippers outside bathroom. So you have anyway broken the sacred covenant.
Nice peaceful place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They are located near the Indiranagar BDA complex in a very quite residential locality. The food and beverages on offer are quite good.
Overall great experience, ambience and food.
FYI - The best part, it's a pet friendly place and there's a vintage model car too in the cafe.
They do not follow what they preach. The ambience is the good part.but just don't order anything here. It's run by a bunch of very arrogant young boys who don't even understand sustainability. I had asked for my coffee to be reheated and this guy says we can't reheat, if you want, order another cup and pay for it.as long as you keep paying for stuff they are ok. Service sucks. I don't recommend this place at all.
An amazingly quiet and peaceful place. Felt a soulful joy. Coming to food: Healthy food, simple, clean and plain with a good taste. We were just eating and enjoying the joy of good food. Must try: Paratha, Poha, Ragi Dosa, Masala chai, and all juices. Must visit place for all healthy freaks in the city.
Recently visited here its was so calm and felt so close to nature, have a different aura this place have.come to food, all dishes they prepare are so healthy. May be food looks not so great but definitely very good health.
Amazing to know how many people are making an earning by just selling the name Yoga. In reality, the stuff on their menu is rather fancy exotic ingredients, which are far from a true Sattvic diet, though quite healthy and rich. Besides, I found it overpriced. I loved the peaceful ambience, however the smell of mosquito coil ruined it for me, something we cannot really blame the restaurant for. Loved the concept of tiny bells to call someone to attend you. Also loved that they use copper utensils for water. The location is away from busy streets, hence really peaceful and complements the ambience.
We didn't have a very good experience though we liked the concept. The first thing which we disliked was the attitude of the person taking orders. High attitude.who himself was not wearing mask in spite of written all over that guests need to be in mask when ordering. The person doesn't come to take your orders. You need to go and place the order.which takes a lot of time since there is already someone ordering before you and you need to wait.only one person takes the order. Our food came after a long long time.one dish at a time.so by the time my son finished, food came for my husband and then mine came when both had finished. Last but not the least, my burger had a big plastic inside the buns which while eating I discovered.no one came to apologize. I can write a whole book on one such outing it seems so will stop here. Experience for yourself now.
My go to place! Solitary time is best enjoyed here. Amazing healthy organic food is served and it tastes delicious. Their tea, jaggery, hash brown special dish along with pudina curd is heavenly.
Chillest place to really chill in a cool cafe with plants and plug points at every table. The food is super healthy and they have an excellent menu with a variety of food.
Worst food ever.tried this place for the first time and never gonna go back.i had to vomit cuz food was so bad, waste of money, we ordered hot chocolate and am damn sure that it was bournvita
Excellent Staff. Food is soulful with no toxic substances like refined sugar. They made Wheatgrass shot from the grass they scythed in front of us. Dosas come in pairs so beware before ordering too many. Banana Smoothie was really nice.
Lovely cafe and very unique. I visited this place with my brother. We went in metro. The place is cozy and we we're not able to find the cafe easily as it was between residents. The place when we entered I was happy to see it. It had outside seatings where we can sit for hours and it is also workspace. Craziest thing is you have to ring the bell to call the waiter. Food was delicious but I feel it was bit high fro the quantity of food.
Fabulous khichdi. Soul satisfying juices. A place that lets one just be. Bit hard to find. Helpful tip would be to look for ladies tailor which is right next to Indiranagar yogisthaan.
I love this place for so many reasons. Let's start with their decor. It is minimalistic and just raw and comfortable. There is nothing fancy or glittery but they have an aura there of peace and a different ambiance than you would have experienced in any other places. Must tries their variety of chai. And their quick healthy snacks. Lovely people. Great place to read or work. Might not be for everyone. But you gotta visit to know that. Parking is tricky. But not impossible.
We had ordered Virgin Mojito, Miracel juice, and Yougisthaan milkshake among which Mojito was bad and other 2 drinks were average. This place located in a quiet place in Indranagar and nice place to spend time with friends for a longer time. Usually the crowd comes with either a laptop or a book. There were also few books around to pick and read. There's also a yoga room
It's not often that I visit veg places, but this is a restaurant I've visited multiple times and would still do in the future. Yogisthaan as the name suggests is a quiet cozy placed tucked in Indiranagar which is known for its healthy food and teas. This is a place you could go with a book to have a nice relaxing meal.
Go For *The very calming ambience *Healthy food and some good medicinal teas (nice mix of Indian as well as continental). *Pet friendly, you can bring in your Doggo pals
Cons *Price is a little on the higher side. *Some people find the taste lacking blaming it's because of the 'Healthy aspect', but it's highly subjective, I love the taste of food here.
Awesome ambience. Great food.new implementation of removing footwear on entering the cafe, in lines with indian tradition.odd thing for a cafe/restaurants these days, but it's good and liked it!
A beautiful place to have a peaceful day out. The ambience and vibe give you a meditative rejuvenating experience. A great place to get a break from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Birds chirping, beautiful old trees, and a "satvik" healthy meal would for sure make your day. They provide for yoga classes and also sell merchandises like tee shirts, yoga pants, healthy eatables etc. You can also stay at yogisthaan for a charge of around 2500/night. It's located in Indira Nagar, easily accessible through cabs/public transport. Other perks: Pet friendly, Pocket friendly, Free wi-fi, book lover friendly! Rating: 4/5
Good food but don't take a room there! Our room was in between the restaurant, the kitchen and the reception. Telephone rang whole night. So noisy it's hard to sleep. Only cold water shower. Room was small, dirty and nearly without furniture. Bed was hard as stone. We saw cockroaches and a rat. Staff is slowly and barely speaks English. Food is very expensive. Room costs 2300rs per night. Not worth the money at all.
I recommend stay away from this place and don't let the nice pictures fool you!
Tasty dishes, nice ambience, sitting quietly in a residential neighborhood of Indira nagar, at a walkable distance from metro. 2 wheeler parking available. 4 wheelers have to find parking in one of the by lanes. Service is slow but tolerable. They have a small library too. Also conduct yoga classes. But pricey to say the least.
I have been visiting the place for 3-4 years and I loved the food here. However, since the past 1 year or so the food quality has reduced substantially.e. G.the Sabu daana khichidi used to be perfect, even I loved the masala chai. But lately it's not true anymore.
Writing this review so that the cafe can take action accordingly
It is a nice chilled out place to work but only during daylight hours, because the mosquitoes are relentless later. Food can get a bit expensive and not very tasty, but very accommodative of people with dietary restrictions.
A very different concept. Probably the only restaurant I’ve been where I had to leave my shoes out. Tried their time pass, Mumbai chai and Chass. Time pass and chai were good and the chass was super spicy.
