As expected, a wonderful visit experience. Food good. Good service, friend and good recommendation. Reasonable price. Made my birthday dinner with my family to the next level. Everyone satisfied. Keep up the good service
I was back here after 7 years. Taste and ambience are still the same. The authentic Nagaland delicacies (Pork, Beef and Chathur) I tried left an indelible impression on me, showcasing the unique flavors and ambience.
Very good experience here. The Rice Bisque soup was very nice, my friends enjoyed it as well. The pork Naga combo meal had some very unique flavours. The nasi goreng was more like fried rice but it was still very tasty. Thanks to the staff for accommodating or taste preferences.
Nice place to enjoy Naga food … pork, chicken, mutton are good … especially pork very delicious… little bit on spicier side but that is how the Naga food will be … we went 2 ppl it costed us 800 …. Try rice beer it’s very tasty …
If you're a Naga you don't wanna miss Zingron. They remind you of your Mom's meal. Taste, Vibe, ambience, staff - 5/5- Jot down this review after my 7th beautiful dinner and to 100th more
One of the worst tribal hotels I have come across. The food was okay but quantity was very less even their rice had to take thrice to full my stomach. I spent 200, only for the white rice and everything is expensive. Please do not visit this place ever.
Avoid such places! We landed with a terrible case of stomach upset that ruined our whole travel that night. I only wonder what level of hygiene they practise and how rotten their supplies are!
Zingron is not how it used to be. The service was way too slow and it took almost 45 minutes to deliver the food that was ordered despite the fact that only our group was the only customers during lunch. The food was cold and meat did not seem fresh. The interiors seem good but other aspects were not upto the mark. I wanted to try Naga cuisine but it wasn't a good experience in this restaurant.
Awesome place. Great ambience, good food at best price & Amazing service. I would recommend this place to everyone who is interested in trying authentic Naga cuisine!
A quiet and unassuming place serving some excellent food from the Naga cuisine. If home cooked food, in a quiet ambience served with care is your kind of thing then Zingron maybe your kind of place.
The menu is predominantly pork based and a little spicy (as it should be) but there is more than enough here to keep the chicken eaters and vegetarians very happy.
I can usually tell how good a meal is with the presence of pictures on my phone. I don't have any pics of the food today, because I could not wait to dig in! If you've ever wanted to try authentic Naga food in Bangalore, this is the closest you'd get to it. I had ordered the Smoked Pork Thali and daaammnn! The food is absolutely delicious! Loved the Akhuni! The hostess is a delightful person always ready to help with a wide smile on her face. I was looking forward to getting my hands on some Chathur (Rice Beer). Unfortunately, they had run out. Hopefully, I will get to enjoy it next time. The ambience could do with some work but I would overlook all that if I get to eat that yummy smoked pork again!
We've walked by the restaurant numerous times but only managed to make it in this weekend. Finally! Loved entering the restaurant and viewing the ample and cosy seating. Great music and a very courteous hostess made it pleasant. This was our first try of Naga cuisine and we had our fingers crossed. We ordered the plate of smoked meats that came with plain steamed rice, Eromba, Steamed Veggies, meat curry and a dry meat preparation. It was all great though a bit spicy! We were a bit disappointed that there wasn't any Chathur/Fresh Lime juice/soda available, maybe the next time we'll hope for the best.
I went to zingron for lunch after hearing many positive reviews online and their reputation of serving authentic Naga cuisine. It's located in Kormangla 5th block and map will guide you just perfect to this place. The restaurant is quiet, dimly lit and has a good wooden structures all around it. It was not so crowded at lunch hours probably coz it was just opened or may be due to pandemic people preferred to place their orders online. The hostess is well mannered and absolutely friendly. I ordered Pork platter costing 445 (all taxes included). It included smoked pork ribs, pork chilly, pork gravy, potato mash, one portion of rice, Chathur (rice beer), veg salad, chicken side dish. The food was really nice and spicy (not the kind which will burn your pallet but in a welcoming sort). The pork was not as much tender to my liking but it was tasty and has smokey flavour which I relished. I loved it so much that I ordered extra portion of rice and the kind lady served me half bowl of rice to finish up the spicy pork gravy (to my surprise, I wasn't charged extra for it). The meal was well balanced and the rice beer was also very different and good which I am told is their famous authentic dish. Well they also serve portion of beef, chicken and sea food dishes but I would return again only to try more pork dishes.cheers
Authentic food going by the predominantly Naga crowd there. I loved the Naga rice beer, it was heavenly, probably, because it tasted similar to freshly tapped toddy that is sweet. The folks there confirmed that sugar has been added to fermented rice beer to make it taste better. We found it odd that none of the dishes had salt in it. Possibly that is a Naga custom but we could not cross check with the chef on this.
Wow. Really i enjoyed more. Tasty is sooooooooo yummy.then i want to tell about there hotel infra. Its tooooo good. Good place to have dinner.and then pork is available for pork lover.visit once.
I had come here and filled myself with just starters. What's even funnier was that all the starters that were had ordered that day, were all pork. And i still haven't ordered many other pork options, from their menu. I bet everthing else must be equally good as the pork starters that we had, that day. Unfortunately, that day, they had ran out of beef. Also ran out of chathur (rice beer). So i guess, I'll have to come back again. Which i will. I'd recommend these guys to everyone.
They serve authentic Naga cuisine. Loved the food there. Went for dinner. The pork dishes are delicious here. It was cooked to perfection. Ambience was also good with red walls. They have low bamboo chair seatings as well just like back in the Northeast. The staff is friendly and welcomes any kind of customisation you want in your dish.
Pros, if u wanna get a taste of the native then one can get it here. But that's it. Very basic taste. Nothing out of the ordinary. Nothing special. But better than the kamanahalli one taste wise. Cons is the veggies. In the thali no boiled veggies is served! It claims it as an authentic Naga restaurant and how can there be no boiled veggies? I was served stir fried veggies with thali. It was very heavy to go with the pork but that's beside the point. Boiled veggies is a must must must in a Naga thali n Naga cuisine. Nagas from Nagaland will be disappointed I guess
I always have loved this restaurant, this has the most ethnic Naga dishes I have ever eaten. My go to restaurant any time when I want to have a homely food.
