Abad Copper Castle - Resorts in Munnar

I loved staying in Abad Hotels recently while holidaying in Kerala. I spent one night here in Jan 2024; the valley views from my room were spectacular. The room was clean & comfy, buffet breakfast was very tasty & the staff were efficient & welcoming & spoke good English. There is also a look-out about 100m along the ridge from the hotel which offers another grand view in a different direction. This place is highly recommended; I'd definitely stay here again.

Though the hotel is located bit away from Munnar, the views from hotel and rooms are very nice. Have time to relax here, otherwise avoid this place and stay near city center

5 stars for the food experience. Good quality, decent pricing, great service.have not stayed in the property. Would definitely recommend lunch walkin on the way. Beef steak recommended

Would NEVER recommend this place for Sr. Citizens or travellers with knee or heart problems. NO ELEVATOR! One has to climb down two/three levels to reach the rooms and go up as much for restaurant and street access.
The front desk person openly admitted he cannot assure of veg/non-veg utensils seperation. A big NO for vegetarians! Overall disappointing experience.
Must say though, staff were efficient and polite.

One of the best place to stay in Munnar with beautiful view and closer to Munnar City. The breakfast and dinner are delicious. Recommended for family to enjoy the vocation peacefully.

Thank you for cooperating with us. The car driver Mr Visakh was very much knowledgeable and understanding to all our needs. It was a fun trip throughout the entire Kerala trip.

Not to mention, Mr Senthil and Mr Murugan from Abad Copper Castle Resort Munnar. It was such a memorable honeymoon for both of us. Thank you very much for your best customer service and all the extra arrangements at hotel. We had such a beautiful candle night dinner.

Stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days, Mountain View from the rooms, quiet but still very close to munnar town if you are there to explore and go for other activities, it’s nestled just 3 kms from the town so you don’t waste time in commute. Rooms are clean. There is a games room amd park down, it has a nice cottage feel to it. Staff are polite and well helpful. Special mention to Mr Senthil who was at the front desk, extremely helpful and also gave suggestions.
Kid friendly, we were 2 families and kids had a park down, a play room, it was lovely. No pool, but we were there for the nature ans munnar so not having a pool didn’t matter.

Great rooms, helpful staff n tasty food. Being a bit before munnar town gives the added advantage of no noise during nighttime. They also provide a campfire with music during the night. Make sure that you buy anything else that you need before hand since the town is about 2 kms away and there are no shops nearby

So Relaxing for a one night getaway
We had such a fantastic stay, only complaint was we had to leave! Had lunch, dinner and breakfast the following morning The staff couldn't be more helpful and were always on hand to assist us with any need we had. We can't thank them enough for making our stay feel so special. All in all a very relaxing getaway, a real treat Superior Valley view room well worth to the money, would go back in a heartbeat. Everyone following covid guidelines and somehow still had a feel of normality about the place which was fantastic. Can’t wait to visit again in the hopefully near future. Highly recommended

A beautiful property between mountains beside a gorgeous river. Beautiful view and garden and lots of space. Food is descent and staffs are very polite, sweet and kind. They are keen to meet our every need and often go out of their way. Impeccable cleanliness. Kudos to the house keeping staffs. There is gaming room with carromboard, table tennis and chess. Looking forward to come again soon. Balcony rooms are awesome.

It’s located at a beautiful location but it’s outside town. Best part about Abad group of hotels is their cleanliness.

We dined at the restaurant in Copper Castle. The menu was very limited, which I guess was due to off season. Nevertheless, the food served was top quality. Only wished they had kerala style sadhya and meals everyday. The View Point at Copper Castle is simply of the best in Munnar.

Without doubt one of the best hotels we stayed during my time in Munnar! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, we were upgraded to the valley view room. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here they arranged camp fire on our request which added up to the experience which was really appreciable gesture on there part.

We were looking for a room in a different property but as it was not available, opted for Copper Castle. Was little sceptical seeing the property images but the real thing was really good. Old property but well maintained. Excellent house keeping, superb food, low rates as per Abad standard. Enough parking, superb service from check in to check out. The only issue was, there is no lift.thank you very much

Only used their restaurant facilities during my trip to Munnar. They had a lunch buffet and the food was excellent, especially the fried fish.

It's just ok. Nothing special about the resort. It doesn't have a great landscape, bathrooms are clean but have minor issues, They haven't done much beautification or landscaping, parking available for around 15 cars. The food is inclined to North Indian tastes. Keralites will never like the food here. Also alcohol is not served here. Also it's way costly than what it offers. The view from the room is ok but not great. Tea gardens can be seen at a distance. Resort is not exactly in the middle of tea gardens. However The service and staff are very good. Also it's a serene environment, absolutely no pollution, chilling wind and its howling sound, the sound of the water flowing through the nearby waterfall. You can relax, take a break from your busy life here.

Rooms are really clean and sanitized. Blankets and comforters were free from dust. Restuarant serves high quality food. Staffs and management interact with helpful mentality and gives a warm and happy environment.

Even though it is a three star hotel, it feels like four stars, even though the room keys are old and there is no elevator, THE VIEW FROM THE ROOM AND WINDOWS ARE BREATHTAKING. If in munnar definitely stay here. If you have a big vehicle the hotel will send Jeep's to pick you up on the other side of the dam. The staff are super freindly and the food service is great.

We were holidaying at Munnar and stayed at this property from 26-29dec 18. Amazing Hotel personnel & courteous all along. Yummy food with a wide spread & thoughtful in their variety of dishes. The Hotel is located on a Hillock with a great view which is it's USP. Worth the stay & best hospitality services.

Abad Copper castle is a 3 star resort, located near Pothamedu view point, Munnar. A number of good hotels in various tourist centres in Kerala are run by Abad group.

We have visited Abad coppercastle multiple times.and most of the other properties of Abad.the service is excellent.you will never be disappointed.it is always beyond your expectation.the staff are polite.the rooms are good.the manager Mr. Murali takes extra care of his guests and makes sure that a lasting relationship is made with his clients.

The location is pretty good.and a short drive further up or a walk down will unwind you.you don't have to go in search of any particular site in Munnar.

The food has to be specially mentioned.the buffet breakfast is amazing and the choice of dishes for lunch and dinner are great.the best part is.the taste is standard is all Abad hotels.a particular dish would taste the same way across all their properties and in the same restaurant a second time.basically they maintain a standard.

A good place to stay at munnar. Well maintained property. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Overall had a really foog experience here.

Proper location away from hustle and bustle of town and not too far from places of interest.nestled in the side of a mountain with a stunning view of the valley and river below

Excellent rooms with spacious and neat bathrooms. Tasty food and good service. Nice small drive up.

We came here first in 2008 and have been visiting every alternate year or so. The stay here has been great each time. After the refurbishments the rooms are well appointed. The staff are warm and welcoming, willing to help any time.

Though quite close to the town centre, the property is a little detached from the hustle and bustle. This really helps us disconnect and relax. The view is also great from the property.

Food quality is between average and good but is halal.

All in all, great place and will come back again.

We just went for dinner while we were staying at a neighboring resort. Ambience is simple.

Food was very good and decently priced. The restaurant manager, Balakrishnan, and his team took real good care of us.

V have stayed here for three dayz and will surely recommend this hotel to every1 of
U guys. The staff is very very cooperative. Breakfast is of wide variety. Ambience is excellent. V r very happy especially with the restaurant staff. The food is very tasty.
It has very appealing garden with a beautiful valley view. It has an ayurveda center inside. The location is very pleasing. There is no lift in the resort so old people might face a little problem, but for the luggage, room service takes complete charge of taking it to ur rooms so it wont b a problem. Would like to visit again.

Loved this place. Location is at its best. All rooms facing the valley view. Excellent service, Ambience is perfect. Hotel staff is very polite. Excellent food. The restaurant staff is very proffesional. One will have no complaints. The breakfast contains buffet and involves alot of variety each day and is very tasty. Room service is up to mark. The view is amazing and you will not have any worries.
We had stayed thwee for 3 days and 3 nights.
Just one problem that there is no lift in the resort but the hotel service takes complete charge of taking your luggage back n forth from room so we dont have to worry about it. Would reccomend this resort to anyone, anytime if one visits munnar. The best
