Great service, affordable cost, quality of food was excellent. Resort, facilities are great and within city.

All reviews are fake, at check out time Hotel staff without checking accused us that towels are missing in your room but the towels were still in the room.

Hotel very well located in Thekkady in a lush setting. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable; very good restaurant with refined cuisine and a beautiful breakfast buffet. We particularly appreciated the warm welcome from all the staff: reception and restaurant;

Nice hotel, well maintained. Breakfast is great. Food is a bit expensive. The swimming pool is nice and well maintained. It would have been awesome if it had temperature control.

Very bad experience room service is worst.without saying they charged for mineral water. They give only 2 bottle per day But In 3 star hotel 4 bottle (1 litre) per day complementary

Abad Green Forest is a wonderful hotel, especially suitable for families. It provides large and spacious bungalows for comfortable living. The pool is enormous and offers plenty of space for swimming and relaxation. The breakfast offers a decent variety of items to choose from. I would highly recommend keeping this hotel at the top of your list whenever you visit the area. The best part is that it is very affordable, making it an excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers.

Ok, If you want to stay closer to other amenities in the town, but don't expect luxury.
It's right in center of Town, meaning it comes with the cost, "Noise". There are churches and mosques around to wake you up with divine sounds.
Bathrooms and beds/ sheets should be improved.
Food in restaurant inside was mediocre but there are plenty of options to try outside.

Don't opt of Spice garden Tour as part of jeep safari, it's cheap marketing trick to waste your time and they force you to Buy some ayurvedic stuffs.

ABAD Forest Resort have a unique ambience which attracts the tourists to visit the place again & again. We have a 2 day stay in the resort and it was a complete refreshment in this busy schedule. The staffs behaviour was simply awesome where they were ready to listen to you from the entry Til exit which makes you more cozy. You will get yummy food here on your choice (hot-hot fresh-fresh). The rooms were comfortable and have privacy for everyone who have been there to enjoy the nature in full swing. Over all it was a very good experience with ABAD. Keep continuing to make customers more happy with exciting offers. Highly recommended!

The stay was very pleasant. Hotel staff are very good. We had came for an anniversary here made a beautiful arrangement of candle light dinner and flower arrangement. Food is also good with lots of variety.

This property is located in a very easily reachable location, kumali town itself. Ambience is so nice. Staffs are so friendly and food is really good. Recommending for short vacation with family.

Game room, buffet and rooms are good. Parking place is inside building campus. Hotel is in the best place of city. You get everything nearby.

Rooms were ok ok.in bathroom bucket and mug were not provided. Buffet dinner already included in our booking but hotel didn't provided the same even after ordering the food, they didn't serve food for 1 hr.our issue didn't solved. Staff wasn't helpful.it was really pathetic.we ll not recommend this hotel

Stayed here in Jungle lodge with my family. First class service. Hospitality is too good, right from check-in till check-out. Staffs were too caring and responsive, following covid guidelines & protocols. With respect to location it's treasure and scenic place for nature lovers which is easily accessible from city centre. It is covered with full of trees gives us a jungle feel as the name implies. Buffet breakfast was a nice one with large variety of dishes. I would recommend this one for a cozy and memorable stay.

Awesome stay with this resort. Staff were really good. Breakfast was superb. Everything served was amazingly tasty. I am a tea lover and should give excellent rarks to their tea. Facility was clean, hygienic and was well prepared as discussed with me over phone. I do recommend them if you are visiting Thekkady.

Situated in the best rated area in Thekkady. Peaceful and scenic. Abad Green Forest Resort Manager Mr. Sijith NS was very helpful. All staffs were superb, friendly and helpful. The food was really good, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Really we enjoyed the the stay here.

Its well maintained resort. Front office staffs were really supportive. Only negative we felt was that we didn't got swimming pool towels.even though we asked for towels several times, they ignored it. Other than this we felt their service were excellent.

When i kerala we always stay in Abad. They never let you down. This time we stayed at Abad green forest thekkady. It's very neatly maintained property very close to all site seeing. We had an excellent stay in Abab Thekkady two days back. Food was yummy and delicious as in all Abad resorts. The staff especially the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant even extended the breakfast time for more than an hour since we were late after trekking and boating. The resort manager Sijith extended all kinds of help during our stay and this place may be a good choice of stay for your visit to Thekkady.

Wow! Nothing less. The surroundings and feel were really nice and well maintained. Certainly a marvellous memory. Mr Sijith was very polite and helpful and explained well about Thekkady and the ABAD experience. Thank you everyone for the enchanting memories. Will meet again soon ️️

The property in terms of location is good. The overall experience from the restaurant and the room service was very good. However my stay was ruined as the resort doesn't have hot water for bath. This ruined my stay there as had to always call the front desk and they would switch the boiler on and then they would ask to wait for 5 minutes, but still I didn't get hot water. Even after complaining multiple times they couldn't do anything to sort it. I was staying in cottage 411& 412 d/r 24-26th Aug 21 with 5 family members.

This is the first time in my experience that I have had such a good stay in Thekkady. The pool was what we were able to enjoy the most. Abad Greenforest is an affordable property to stay in with your family at an affordable price.especially thanks to mr. Sijith (operation manager) for giving us all the help we need.

Our check in time was 1pm but we reached from palakkad only by 2.30 pm the front office staff radhika asked us to wait for 45 minutes because our room was not ready, she also switched between the rooms, the most unpleasant stay we experienced, the room was foul smelling, radhika staff was prioritizing the customer who booked online and neglected us though we have already paid her through the link she said us

It is a pleasing place for a holiday vacation. The ambience, food, hospitality & services are really great. If we need anything, they are always ready to help us in every possible way.

A wonderful and ñeat resort. A good getaway resort for family stay. Have a common pool.

It is near to Periyar tiger reserve, Thekkady.

It do not have much inhouse activities, except pool and an some indoor games in a medium room. But good service and a nice place to stay.

The service and breakfast were the stars of the game at Abad. Along with that, the whole place is very scenic, serene, and full of greenery. There is a pool and place for indore games like carroms, chess, table tennjs etc. One of the best experiences I have had with friends.

Property is really good and safe for families. And the service they provide should give a five stars.

We enjoyed every moment we had here. The care and service offered by the staff was highly to be praised. Very good hospitality, the staffs and workers are very caring and attentive. Beautiful and calm atmosphere. The hotel is very clean throughout with everything that we needed. Then the food is of good quality especially the breakfast buffet with plenty of options available.

I stayed a night with my family in two jungle cottage rooms. It's close to the town. The issue we had with both the rooms are, heavy fungus smell in the room and bedsheet. It was a quite nuisance to sleep in the night. Both the rooms had the smell. No wifi was available. Other than that the front office staff and other staff were very caring and professional. If no smell in the room, we would have loved the stayed. Room service food was good. A small TV with a few free channels were available. Too many mosquitos were there. Breakfast was good with many options for south indian food

Abad is always the finest pick for holidays. Abad Thekkady is blessed with excellent ambience, team members, amenities.
Rooms were well maintained after lock down, pool was hygienic, restaurant was clean. The special Butterscotch cake s so soft and smooth. Resort manager Sijin is truly as asset as he do anything for his guest happiness. Digo of front desk, Chef Reji, Bibin of F and B were too good to us from the day we booked the room they kept good contact. They always keen to ensure we were getting the best. The night camp fire with great music s main attraction. Monkeys, squirrels lot of butterflies will come near window, Breakfast and dinner was so delicious. After lockdown Thekkady is really struggling even though Abad didn't do any compromise in quality of hospitality. Good job.
Please take some measures to control the mosquito and flies in the property.

A must stay place in Thekkady

Would say a little bit overpriced.
1. Pool won't be available due to Covid restriction.
2. Fire camp won't be available due to Covid restriction. (3000 was asked for setting it, can easily get for 700 at every resort).
3. Without pool water the view from balcony was horrible.
Just an old building inside artificial nature settings.
4. Monkeys everywhere in the balcony so won't be able to have some snacks at balcony and can't open it regularly.
5. The very sad part, we were told about TT and when at evening we asked for it, they said ball is not available.

You don't have to pay such a huge amount for just rooms, you can get 600 sq feet room at thekkady for half the price, also lakeside view hotels.

Little walk from Reception to rooms as its located in steep mountain.
Evenings are awesome with balcony overlooking the jungle.
Food was good with moderate taste and variety.

Location it's pretty far from the entrance to the park as compared to the other hotels, swimming pool currently under maintenance.

Decent resort in Thekkady. Little expensive for the facilities they offer.

The property has lot of monkeys which keep on entering the balcony and in some cases rooms too. So little scary if you have kids with you.
