Beautiful resort surrounded by nature and the sea, with very kind staff members and nice food. My husband and I enjoyed the swimming pool overlooking a super green pond and I had fun in the powerful ocean waves. Also, the sunset over the sea was so romantic and breathtaking. We recommend everyone this place!

I've been to Alleppy several times. But this time, choosing Abad Turtle Beach Resorts made the trip adorable! Everything out there (the location, facilities, bed, bathrooms, food) was excellent but the thing that stood out was the hospitality offered by its staff - I remember some names, Malleeswaran, Doni, Akhil, Those staff took care of everything that we asked for. When we had checked-in and every time we dined at the hotel (in all, we stayed for 2 days at the hotel and had at least a meal out there on every day), hotel staffs are surprise us by delivering on what we had requested for, they offered us more varieties to try (without us asking for it) and we were very pleased with their service as with our diet preferences, we often do not get that kind of service in most places. I'd rate everything a 5/5 (couldn't be more pleased with our stay) and especially rate for the housekeeping staff as exceeding our expectations (i.e. 6/5) for their service. Thank uuu so much guys.

It was a second visit to the Abad turtle beach resort after about 4 years; the place maintained everything we loved during the first visit, and even better.

The resort taps into a lot of the natural landscape of the place, and that really lets you know the place, and be part of it.

This is a place where we have enjoyed the sea in all its rawness. The beautiful beach stretch that's accessible from the resort is neat, not crowded; in fact the only companions we had for some time were the crows who were probably fishing for molluscs for a snack. You might see fishing boats during an early visit to the sea, again letting us be a part of the place and the people who live there.

The rooms, and the lil backyards were extremely cozy and the restaurant keeps you really happy. The staff is very helpful, and made us really comfortable.

The butterfly park was such a tender experience for the kids. You can walk around in the resort and pick your place of interest, there are many such 'little joys' around.

We had a wonderful time at the resort and when we left, we mentioned that we will be visiting again, and we really meant it.

Great seafood food and close accessibility to a private beach, ac in room 104 makes noise and its hard to sleep with it turned on, room service was delayed due to high weekend rush, lastly it's not fine to burn garbage anywhere, people come here for a break.

It was good but not to that expectation. It was not value for money. They have very limited indoor and outdoor activities. You can find much better resorts with more entertainment for the same amount. But The staff services was great.

Nice place to spend with family and friends. Have a decent pool, very calm and peaceful atmosphere, good rooms and good service. Have access to beach. Have activities like badminton, kids park, butterfly garden and all. Have some cottages with private pools also. One cottage is for 2 family with two rooms nearby and each cottages are seperated with decent space.
Overall a very nice place to spend a weekend and the beach is awesome.

The location and ambience is nice. Service is also good. But comparing to other resorts, it is not worth for the price we are paying.

It is a good place for family and kids. A place where you can enjoy the serene and calm nature.silent yet vibrant place. Direct entry to the beach and a swimming pool. This place also has a cow farm, butterfly garden and vegetable garden

Best place to go with family as well as suitable for female solo travellers. They have beautiful cottages, butterfly garden and "private beach"

Had a very memorable experience in 3 night stay.
Satff is ver friendly and helping.
Food is also tasty.
Pool is clean and best thing is the easy accessibility to the beach which also very clean (unlike some tourist beaches).
Just faced one issue that sometimes bugs kept falling on bedsheet on roof, this issue was somewhat resolved on changing the room by complainting at reception.
As the resort is quite spacious you can also rent cycles within it wgich also good.

The ambiance was super. Staffs were so cooperative. The smile on their face gave us a positive energy. They were ready to help us at any time. They were even so interested to make our baby happy with his food and activities. Mr. Gopen the sheff and his team, made our candle light dinner so marvellous with sea food specials. Room was hygiene. Overall it was a beautiful days in our memory.

This place is heavenly. Every inch of it lets you connect with nature. They have a private beach so only people from the resort have access to the beach which gives you full privacy.

The rooms are well maintained and the staff is very polite and friendly. They have cycle rental available and it's a lovely experience to ride through the resort. They also have options for indoor games like TT, carrom, chess. For outdoor you have the option for badminton, volleyball, fishing. You have so many options to explore. You will never feel bored.

The food here is also amazing. I would recommend this place for all those who wish to take a break from their busy schedule, relax and spend some quality time with your family and friends.

ABAD turtle beach is a nice resort, it has a wonderful beach view. It has free WiFi, It has golf and a nice reception.

The pool at the resort is superb. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, but need to improve the a/c quality and the washroom sanitary as water was leaking.

Food is average only and the price is high for the quantity delivered.

Eco friendly resort but bedcovers and the room wasn’t clean enough. Food was satisfactory. Swimming pool, and cycling are must try. Wifi is available. TV wasn’t working-properly, customer care was excellent!
Apart from everything inside the resort, outside beach view was stunning. Their security was friendly so he might keep an eye on your gadgets, you can have fun in the beach.
Do not miss the butterfly garden. We thought there is only a few dragonflies, so we only had patience to go there in the last minute. Please don’t miss it!

Went with wife n kids last month. Awesome place with great ambience. The food was also great n yummy. The pool was well maintained. All the staffs are friendly.

Nice property with a private beach, pool and lush greenery spread across 16 acres. Individual cottages provide a perfect getaway from the hubbub of city life. Great food and service by the staff. Looking forward to visit again.

This is my third stay there. Comfortable resort. Room rent also is steadily rising every time.lot of activities for children.food was way better this time compared to previous times.food was great this time.but if the prices increase any further, the value for money factor will dive down exponentially.one important point to mention is that some of the villas has ponds very close by and they dont have any fencing for retaining the 'natural' look.those villas are not ideal of you are staying with a toddler.

It's a really good place to visit. Beautiful Beach and they have good customer service. Their morning buffet is free for all. The kids have free buffet in the afternoon and dinner. They charge 500 for the adults buffet in the afternoon as well for night. They provide tea in the evening.

It's an awesome property and very nice hospitality. Very good service and staff. Just need to have a better cleanliness and has got a bit high priced restaurant menu.

Excellent property near the beach. Rooms and the surroundings were clean and was well maintained. A lot of area to be walking around. Property is connected to the beach, a security guard is always stationed there so ir doesn't feel much of unsafe. The tides were high, since it was raining when we were there. So we were restricted by the guard to go near the waves. But it was good to sit there watching the sea.

In our opinion food can be improved a lot. I found the quantity to be lesser as well. I would say go for Kerala cuisine and not western or Italian.

If it wasn't for the food this would have been the best stay in our entire trip. We did order food from outside shop because of this.

The Resort and the surroundings are really good except there is no wind coming in the resort premises. The private beach is allowed between 6-6, that was not a good thing as they provide private beach.

Amazing place to visit.once you enter the resort you will feel like a traditional place with modern facilities. They provide all facilities like ayurveda massage, outdoor playing, cycling, boating etc.

Individual cottage gives more privacy with your family members. You can explore organic farming, different types of butterflies, swans, cattle farming etc. Rooms are big and roof top opened bathroom to get real fun. You have private beach behind the campus

Amazing place for a team or large family gathering. The property is vast with a private beach. Every place is well architected and planned. We spent a day here and never felt we wasted. We had enough activities to be explored and kept the momentum high always. The swimming pool, batminton court, small botanical garden, butterfly park and many more are adding the natural beauty to this place. You can hire a bicycle and have a stroll around the place.

Visited the resort last week for a weekend trip.
Pros:
1. The property is beautiful and has got a private beach with an excellent view of the arabian sea.
2. Keep us in touch with earth & nature with organic farming, butterfly garden, beautiful greenary and small attractions.
Cons:
1. Poor Management compared to other Abad properties. Front Staff at reception doesn't have the basic manners to brief us about the activities and facilities at the resort.
2. Room & Food services were not up to mark compared with similar resorts & Abad properties. While ordering a morning tea from room, the first reply got was to wait atleast 30 minutes and it may take time due to non availability of staff.
3. Room facilities like TV, Towels, Carpets, Bathroom fittings are very old and needs replacement.
My Personal view: Beautiful property for a weekend trip but poor service.

Old rooms. Walls have cracks. Patchy painting. Old tv. No refrigerator. Not modern. Everything’s very old. Not worth the money. It’s called beach cottage but none of the cottages have a real beach view. Other private Beach facing villas and rooms are available nearby for a fraction of the cost we pay here. Do not fall for the paid YouTube reviews.

Friendly staff.good service.yeah and great fish recipes in the menu.our kids had fun in the pool and the private beach.cycles were another attraction as they have a good track in the resort.fantastic place for family to relax and have fun.

First of all please don’t go with high expectations this resort have some issues with providing basic toiletries and as well as sanitization and food which was the worst experience I have ever experienced in my entire life it was negative from my side since this resort is located in alapuzha we expected traditional food there was no kareemeen as well as fresh water fish whatever even the chicken was not cooked great was tasteless and not worth the price we come for stay and we experienced stomach upset and we have complained about it which was least bothered ‘ then please be sure that this resort have some partiality towards actors they provide basic facilities with pool facilities and great service only to celebrities so if u aren’t a celebrity be assure about it worst experience in my life could have stayed in omytamara or taj which give best quality food and stay this was worst of worst I have been there for last week

Property is superb making it a to be place to spend a vacation along with family.

Its full greenary, trees and well maintained walkways.

Butterfly Park, in house farm all add up the uniqueness that property brings in.

Had a fantastic stay and quality time spent.

Close proximity to beach from the resort makes it even more great to spend early morning and evenings.

I believe the food options are limited and tastes average which needs to be improved and also room quality even though its well designed but i think the structure as a whole is quite old.

Leaving aside the cons, the destination offers the best and will never regret.

The Resort is very clean and green. Lot of place to roam around. The entire place is well maintained and the food is yum!

Never expected my trip to Abad Turtle Beach would be memorable for life time.
From Reservation, checkin and all process went so smooth & nice.
Beach side cottages are just 10mts from beach. Cottages are well equipped with all aminities & supplies.
Restaurant food was awesome & bunch of varieties in Buffet.
Butterfly Park, Cattle Farm, Fish Pond, Organic Farms etc, inside the resort which makes us busy all day.
With beautiful Sunset at private beach with no words to explain.

Overall would highly recommend Abad Turtle Beach to all.

This is a beach side resort very good atmosphere quite calm and green. The amenities are very good. A multy cusine restaurant is there famous for sea food. Swimming pool spa and ayurvedic treatment also available. Conference hall is also there.

We ended up going to Abad Turtle Beach Resort when our Houseboat was cancelled due to bad weather.
And I must say- it was quite a place!
The resort is HUGE and has a lot of activities inside. They have a nice Badminton Court, a Swimming Pool, a Butterfly garden, a recreational room with Table Tennis and Carom Board.
The beach is literally right off the resort and feels like a private beach.
Due to the recent floods- some part of the water are still not completely clean. But otherwise I’m sure it’s a pretty good beach to chill in.

The rooms are spacious and the bathroom has this cute plant kind of space that we thought gave it a very authentic look.

The food at the restaurant was also mind blowing. The seafood is really really good to eat. The buffet was good- but we preferred the A-la- cart.

The staff were really courteous and helpful.

I stayed at the turtle beach resort on 3 Oct 2018. I only had a one night stay but the stay at the resort was fantastic. Upon arriving we were greet with great respect and professionalism from the management staff ay the desk. We then had a personal tour of the grounds which was extremely personable experience. We arrived early and our room was not quite ready, however I had the chance to ser that's staff of six had reset the room, incredible! The room was very comforting with the amenities provided. The beach is one of the best I've seen throughout my travels around the world, scenic and serene! Most noteworthy was when a staff member (Anupama) personally came to the beach and asked if we were comfortable and satisfied with our visit. She was extremely gracious, kind and enriched me with her warm spirit. She was a true professional in every essence of the word. The dinner we enjoyed was prepared with great flare and looked fantastic on the plate presented with culinary skills evident of a great chef! This was a truly rewarding experience and will be remembered! Thank you Turtle Beach!

Whilst we didn't stay there as they were full, they were very helpful and recommended a nice local homestay called marari blue waves

Perfect spot for a getaway if your a beach lover. The service is just amazing. Definitely planning to visit the place again.

A good place to chill out with family and friends. The good part is the proximity to lovely beach and the vegetable garden grown in organic way.

Turyle Bay turned out to be a lovely surprise. The room was a bit spartan and could do with a bit of a facelift, however it was clean and the housekeeping staff in particular a Ms. Chinnu was very helpful and pleasant. The resort as such is a quiet oasis in the off season with a lovely stretch of beach. The food was excellent full praise to Chef Joseph and restaurant manager Mr. Bipin and pleasant waiters like Shameer. I have taken care to mention these folks by name because they went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. However there were many others who also were warm and friendly. Abad should be proud of their staff here. Thank you for a memorable two day stay. We will be back!

Very bad Resorts cottages. As i had find many lizards in our room & bathroom. When we arrived on 12 jun 2018. I found many Lizards r crawling on the wooden ceiling, walls & in bathroom. I informed this to reception, they came & offered us another room where we found again many lizards & even big spider under our bed. Overall night really we couldn’t sleep bcoz our kidz were afraid of it. Next morning when we were vacating i found lizard in my luggage under my clothes. For this unpleasent incident resort receptionist were not feeling guilty & they demanded for 50% Fare which we paid. Even they dont have any facility of Taxi or Transport if in an Emergency anybody wants to leave this resort in night.

What a place to enjoy the rain.well maintained cottages and gardens plantation of organic vegetables breeds of cows, swans, butterflies variety of fish to catch and cook what else to satisfy a nature lover.this place is very close to nature and the rooms are clean. Food was excellent and the staff very cooperative booked for one night and ended up in staying three nights.those who love nature can have a definite visit.

This a great property, although not well maintained. I felt this place could definitely do with a makeover, new paint job and renovation of the cottages and bathrooms. At first glance the property looks amazing and then u notice the old electric sockets, visible damages, chipped paint, the ponds are covered in algae which ruins the look of what would have been picturesque if cleaned and well maintained.

The ala-carte menu at their restaurant left much to be desired, despite informing staff many of the fried items were extremely salty.
The lunch and dinner buffet, which goes for around 600 pax is decent although it is not available at all times.

That said this is an ideal property close to the beach, that is lively, with nature and fauna. Children would love it as there is ample space to explore run and play. The beach clean and amazing. We went in May and sadly we could only just wet our feet and run along the beach, it isnt safe to swim.

They have a beautiful butterfly garden teaming with exotic flowers and different species of butterflies.

The weather is great during the mornings and after 4pm.during noon it is simply too hot, sunny and humid, which can be draining for ppl not used to tropical heat.

This location is ideal for those looking for an economical resort for family. It is great for large groups.

For those looking for looking for something slightly more posh and higher quality of service plus activities i would suggest Zuri Resort Kumarokamom. (this is obviously priced much higher)

Location is nice and the beach is too good. Food served is delicious. But the rooms are not maintained well. Floors and walls are wet.

Cottages were neat and clean, the dinner and breakfast was excellent with variety of choices and excellent quality of food. Recception was helpful.
