Service is worst.supliers are tayooliz so I won't recommend to dining take a parcel and go home eat it

Located near Vizhinjam KSRTC bus stand (around a 5-min walk from there). Parking is possible on the roadside. Seating is a basic setup, with a few tables and stools inside. Staff were friendly and polite. Ordered the following -

Chicken Fry - The item that this hotel is famous for, had a unique taste. Chicken was of good quality, had sufficient meat and was cooked well. The masala along with it was quite spicy, but paired well with the porotta. (1 piece - 120 rupees)

Coin porotta - Small and thin, a good combo with the chicken. Gravy is also available on request.

Ball Grape Juice - Great for reducing the spiciness. It is quite strong in terms of its grapiness, so would not recommend to everyone (50 rupees)

Overall, this hotel serves some good spicy food, and I recommend this place for chicken lovers).

The afsal hotel and the vizhinjam chicken fry available there are very famous. As I expected, the chicken fry was very tasty and it was very spicy too. The coin porotta was also good and it's a nice combo with chicken fry. Those who like to try something different in chicken can go and have this one.

Afsal was good way back the food the service everything was nice n used to be a frequent customer but when the owner changed the perosn who looks out the hotel rnw is a total disaster not attentive if we say the payment is through gpay their behaviour will change drastically. Hat's off what else can i say

Good tasy fried chicken.it is too hot and spicy and tasty.we will find difficulty to eat due to spicyness and we will starving to eat more due to the rich tasty flavour. Better buy some cool drinks after you visit

Chicken fry is tasty and juicy. Don't expect ambience and parking space while coming.

It's a small hotel on the Vizhinjam main road. They serve tasty chicken Fry's, reasonably priced. I liked it very much it was little bit spicy for my taste buds. The malabar parotta blend nicely with the fry it's quite small so better order some extras in order to finish the huge chicken Fry's.

Uttar waste: Worst Chicken fry in Trivandrum, not cooked properly, unwanted Chilli masala which remains separate from Chicken.

Size of Parotta is smaller than tht of a tattu dosa.

NOTE: Chicken pieces are really big (INR 400 = for 4 pieces).

Very small പൊറോട്ട too oily.
Half fried chicken. The center portion was uncooked.
Had to fry it again. So had it hot and spicy? At home

I took parcel from Afsal hotel, Chicken was not well cooked.
They add lots of chilly flakes to the chicken fry and doesn't taste that good also especially if your taking parcel.

You should never ever miss this place to taste one of the bestest chicken fry you will ever have in your life. They serve the best chicken fry with a very different taste and it is so so tender & fresh. This one is bit spicey but not too much. The soft & small Kerala porotta is the right combo to try this out. I personally recommend the ball grape juice over million other drinks to go hand in hand with the taste of this very famous Afzal chicken fry. The food smells so good even from the other side of the road where I could park the car finally.
This is a small restaurant with an average dine in capacity. If you are a foody or a chicken lover, you can not miss this place for anything. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I first visited this hotel almost 7 years ago.
Time has passed by and still nothing has changed in the case of the hotels structure and delicious food. The hotel provides the best 'poratta and hot chicken fry with chilly masala' combination in Trivandrum city.

I dont know whether i should love this place or hate this place. For their chicken fry has made me dislike the chicken fry i get from anywhere else.
Really spicy huge pieces of chicken with small parotta and Mirinda to cool your mouth is the best combo. ️

Good food and at moderate rate. One drawback is parking. As it is close to the road no parking is available. Big tables are available to accommodate 6-8 people.

There is no car parking space available in this area and hotel you may park your car at the opposite side petrol pump if they allow you Spicy Chicken and Porottaa 4 peoples can eat their dinner around 500 rupees but porotta is the only one item available in this hotel if go there you have to wait for the food atleast 10 minutes 3 out of 5,

The food was good and fine. The special item is Porotta and Chicken Fry. The people who love spicy foods can come here as the fry was too spicy. The combination is the same with Coin Porotta. There is not much ambience and seating. Just an ordinary hotel. But the service was very poor when i went there. It may be due to rush, but i felt it bad. There is no special parking facility but you can park vehicles on roadsides.

Very delicious chicken fry.have some Onion and capsicum chopped into this while frying.it is awesome.remain open late night. Good drive in restaurant.suggesting for long riders

Even though the place is relatively small and is away from the city, the place is usually packed on Saturdays. Locals love the place abd ghe food is good as well. Although they don't have a huge menu, what they have is awesome porotta and fried chicken for which most of the people visit

Worse office I have never seen ever till now my life.
Where's not a suitable place to sit for visitors or the relatives of a any student who appere here for exam.

I decided to give a visit to this restaurant after its has been recommended by many foodie friends. I ordered the most recommended chicken fry with coin poratta. The chicken fry is spicy and offers a good combination to eat with poratta.

The chicken fry is finger lickn good, nothing beats it. Can fill your stomach with this amazing Chicken Fry nd Coin Parotta around 100 bucks
