We rally had a bad experience with AGP. The lack of air conditioning really put a damper on our function, and the behavior of the staff made the situation even worse. It was frustrating and embarrassing in front of our guests. Our guests were all from different part of the country and they travelled all the way upto here.

We are disappointed with the service we received. Very negative experience.

In the future, I would recommend everyone to do some research and reading reviews before booking any venue to ensure you have a better understanding of what to expect. Additionally, always make sure to communicate your expectations clearly with the staff to avoid any misunderstandings or miscommunications.

Never ever book any event in this place. Worst experience. The air conditioning is not working.

Just two days before we had conducted a marriage function at AGP Hall & had the worst experience. As per their demand, we had paid full amount, yet they did not provide air conditioning at the hall. We got embarrassed infront of our guests. If this is the condition during rainy season, cant even imagine if there’s a function in summer season.

When we requested the manager to switch on the AC they said they did not fill the diesel for the generator. When there’s a function they should have prepared everything. Such irresponsible act from their side was totally unexpected.

Also, despite of having more parking space at the premises, the security guard did not allow a lot of cars inside, and many old people had to climb up to the hall entrance, which was not appreciated at all. They had charged us extra for extra security guards yet they did not allow many cars inside the gate.

I would never ever recommend AGP Hall to anyone herafter. They owe us an apology to the embarrassment & inconvenience caused. The price was not at all worthy enough to their service.

I feel compelled to share my recent experience at AGP Garden Heritage Hall and strongly urge you all to reconsider before booking this venue for any of your future events. Today, I attended my cousin's marriage function at this establishment, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a highly disappointing and frustrating ordeal.

The main issue that marred the entire event was the malfunctioning air conditioning system in the main hall where the primary function was taking place. As soon as we realized the AC was not working, we promptly notified the authorities, expecting a swift resolution to the problem. To our disbelief, instead of taking immediate action, the management demanded an additional payment of 10,000 rupees for diesel to power the generator, which was supposedly already included in the rental agreement.

Despite our reluctance, we reluctantly paid the additional amount, as our guests were suffering in the sweltering heat. However, to our dismay, even after making the payment, the AC was not turned on, and the office staff offered nothing but lame excuses for their inaction. This blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and lack of responsibility is simply unacceptable.

I implore you all to reconsider your decision to choose AGP Garden Heritage Hall as your event venue. This is not an isolated incident; there have been multiple complaints from disgruntled customers in the past, and it is clear that the management is not committed to providing a satisfactory experience to their patrons.

The purpose of this message is to serve as a warning to all, as I genuinely believe that no one should have to endure the frustration and disappointment that my family and I faced. I strongly advise you to explore alternative options and thoroughly research other venues with a proven track record of excellent service and customer satisfaction.

Had a very bad experience recently from agp garden. Completely unwelcoming attitude from the manager. Air conditioner there is a joke. Please think twice before opting.

Worst ever experience in conducting an event here. False promises by hall caretakers. They will make you convince that they will manage everything. Not even basic facilities of having even a good dressing room. It’s an ok venue for a maximum of 300-500 people function that too with minimum number of cars. No generators with good capacity. If you start water motor pump you will have to off the air conditioners in the hall. Only one Mohandas (caretaker) tried to be good with us with his helplessness. There are some other staffs not even know basically how to deal and handle a customer.
The summary: -
* you can have program for 500 Nos maximum
* never give complete amount as advance (biggest mistake I did)
* let the owner deal with you (later these employees say my owner told so and so if anything asked)
* no basic facilities of sound, efficient electrical management, good air conditioners, kitchen facilities etc.

I repeatedly informed the hall management and caretakers to make sure everything go fine as I received very bad feedbacks on the previous days program. They promised me everything is resolved and will go well.

My sister recently got married at The AGP Heritage Hall, and unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our experience. We had heard good things about the venue, but our experience fell short of our expectations.
First of all, the staff was unresponsive and unhelpful throughout the planning process. We had to follow up multiple times to get answers to our questions, and when we did get a response, it was often vague or unhelpful.
On the day of the wedding, things only got worse. The staff was disorganized and seemed overwhelmed. They were not able to provide the Basic facilities. This caused a lot of stress and frustration for us and our guests.and we were embarrassed that we had chosen this venue.
Finally, the venue itself was not well maintained. The chairs and tables looked old and tired. It did not feel like a wedding venue, despite the price we paid.
Overall, we would not recommend The AGP heritage hall Calicut as a wedding venue. The unresponsive staff, disorganization, and venue were all major disappointments that overshadowed what should have been a special day.

The approach road is narrow. The hall is ok but the dining area is limited in space and not planned optimally.

A nice place for small and medium crowded programs. Well-maintained lawn and building, an old house is renovated into an auditorium. Overall the ambience is good. The main attraction is the access, the location is near the thondayadu junction

AGP Garden heritage hall is a good hall for 500-1000 people's functions. Situated in a great location, near star care hospital. Good parking space but the road to the hall is in a little bad condition.

Good option for a small scale function. A mansion converted to a auditorium. Have good parking space

Don't believe in false ratings. Very bad attitude by staff and management. They will cut off the power even when the function is not finish. I mean sharp timings

Ideal place for small wedding, meeting, reception, get together. Have decent parking place. Ambience good, main hall is not that much big, but enough for normal weddings and all. Have decent dining space which is kind of a open space. Easily accessible through main bypass and mavoor road.

The auditorium looks like a garage with cables hanging from the roof and unfinished ac ducts staring in your face. There is not even a proper road to this place. So please stay away from this property if you are looking to host something.

House converted to hall. Now they have built a hall next to the old one (which was the house) and turned old hall to the dining area. Have good parking area. Its a small hall, can attend a party upto 500 people. Beyond that the hall seems congested. Comparatively the rent is also very high, for that amount there are lots of option with loads of facility within the city.

Very bad experience. AC is not working.they tell us they will provide cooler but last they not provided that. The hall is too small.

Venue is nice but road is a bit congested making it difficult to reach especially for the first time visitors

Nice ambience, function hall for about 500 pax, low ceiling but good acoustics. Separate spacious dining area, parking for around 80 cars.
Access road is narrow but the hall MGT has arranged efficient security personnel to regulate traffic & disciplined parking.

Average, location of the hotel was superb. Other than that servise was not good, hot water was not available. Rooms are cozy and AC was really powerfull.

Very nice place to have all kinds of function.with lot of parking space.gives a lovely atmosphere. Staffs are soo cooperative.

Air conditioned hall. Reaching here is a little difficult as the roads are narrow and the entrance is from the Thondayad junction, which is always crowded.

Comparatively less parking space. Go ahead if you are planning events for small gathering.
