Not your Arabic shawarma but I have to admit. I had the most fun eating the shawarma here compared to lahab and shawarmati. Must have to do with the sauces they put on the shawarma as well as the picked chilli they give along with.
Was a good shawarma serving food joint when i went before the rona hit. With the waves of pandemic there came a load of new food joints too. Those new joints can easily outweigh this one. But calicut people can still give this a go once in a while to try a different shawarma.
We went because of the reviews But was not worthy Very little filling, all you can taste is the stale bread. They are not heating up the bread or Toasting so the whole thing feels very cold.
Turkish styled Shwarma joint. Juicy chicken slices wrapped in special roti mixed with fries and vegitables. Thier unique mayo make it more juicy. Rotis is bit dry and taste is not consistent. This is a take away joint, only 5 or 6 people can be seated. Overall good food. Roll costs 80 rupees. Place is open till Shawarma lasts (often 10-11pm)
The taste of the shawarma was as similar to what you get in the Arab countries. But at the same time if you're going to put a very little amount of chicken in the shawarma roll, consider calling it a club sandwich Instead cuz I don't see a reduction in price when such little amount of meat is being spread into each shawarma
Not the best place in Calicut for Shawarma Roll. Price is on a higher side compared to the quantity. Pickle were not good either. Not a very good experience. Need improvement.
Highly crowded place. Had to wait at least 30mins to get 2 shawarma.
I have never had a tasty shawarma from Kerala similar to that of i have had from Saudi Arabia, the taste is very much similar to the shawarma that i have had from Saudi Arabia and the best part is they are adding french fries into the shawarma which is not seen in other shawarma serving restaurants, thats why I said the shwarama served here is almost exact to the shwarama we get in Saudi Arabia But when it comes to quantity it is no where similar to the Saudi Shawarma. Instead of serving thin rolls I suggest you to put in more quantity of chicken and make it to the size similar to saudi Shawarma size, this will help u gain more customers and make u unique from other shawarmas served in kerala
Arabic Style Shawarma. They use long kubbus French fries & Lettuce leaf instead of disgusting cabbage. The taste is similar to shawarma that is served in gulf countries.
