Been shopping in this amazing place for over a year they have never let me or my mom down with their amazing Kurtis and dresses. The materials are so comfortable irrespective of climate. Absolute best custom tailoring studio in kochi! I gave one blouse for a kancheepuram saree and it was the best fitting and most comfortable blouse I had ever had stitched. It was so comfortable and neat fitting that I didn’t feel like taking it off! I then had my wedding lehenga and blouses for sarees for my whole family stitched at Alkas for my wedding and it all came out beautifully, from the patterns, to the embroidery to the fittings.
It was such a blessing to have found Alka, her advice when it came to the design and details of each piece, the very neat tailoring and the sweet and helpful staff at the studio, all made for a wonderful experience! True gem of a place!

There are hiccups of working on lesser number of staffs but am rating 5 stars for the quality of their material and their design. Never felt so comfortable in a classy party wear. Their materials and design are so good and comfortable. Bit on the pricey side but if you prefer beautiful and comfortable wear this is a go to place. Better go there and buy rather than ordering online so that they would do it as per your requirement.

Gifted myself with alka hari design for a special occasion. Extremely happy to share my experience.

The whole deal was very cumbersome. The store being a highly hyped one on social media, we thought we would get a top stitched at theirs since it was also closer to our home. We sourced the fabric ourselves, and discussed the pattern with Ms. Alka on 12th Sep. We were told we would get it stitched by the first week of October. They also collected an advance payment of ₹500.
But they called up nearing due date (October) saying the material was not enough! We came by at the store THRICE to get this “one” top stitched. The place has “one” parking slot. We were charged ₹4000 for the embroidery work (photo attached below)
The first measurements were taken by Ms. Alka on 12th Sep, and we tried the top on 14th Oct and it was a disappointment. The master (tailor) then realised the measurements initially taken were wrong. He retook the measurements right then, and assured to get the perfect fit by the next day. We were really happy with his interaction.

We were charged 4000 (embroidery) + 2500 (stitching) = 6500 (all the materials were bought by us)
They did not address about the advance payment (₹500) paid on the 12th September (Enclosing the bill below)
We then called up to confront regarding this, and it was then reimbursed.

FYI: All the cloth materials were sourced by us.
