Love This Experience but costly according to sailing or Facilities.
The weather is too hot so during noon I feel tired.
During noon not allowed AC only 9pm to 6am.
Lunch, BrackFast or Dinner Good.
Seating Arrangement not comfortable too seat anywhere.
Much Costly but not comfortable.
Do not pay much money for this boat because it's not comfortable for seat and enjoyment.
So Many Other Boats available must find and go ahead.

Great place if you're looking to enjoy and experience the awesome backwaters of Alleppey. It's a place, which should be on top of everyone's itinerary and Kerala isn't quite if you don't come here. But one important piece of advice for everyone, if possible don't come here during peak as the price houseboat shoots up and you may also have to compromise with the quality of service in the house boat due to the rush

One of the most popular tourist attractions in kerala and exciting things to be done once in lifetime. Stay in boat house. We had great time spending one whole day in boat house. Amazing Kerala style food.

Houseboats moving only for a few hours and the rest of the time they kept in parked at one place

The boat house was very clean and the service was excellent.
Rooms were also good.
The people working there were kind and polite.
The food prepared by them is also good.
Prawns which we bought and asked them to cook was exceptional.
The view is also terrific and was quite enjoyable.
Boat ride during sunrise was mesmerizing.
An awesome experience.
Will definitely prefer them the next time as well.

You can experience once, and if you have interest of spending time here, otherwise you can skip.
Costly Boat House, shikara ride is what we can do to enjoy shorter ride through canal with less than 1000 INR.

It's an wonderful experience ever. Living in the boat house for 1day is something different and it was so good. That beautiful views in the middle of the river and travelling through it is an amazing experience. Feel it.

You can check in into the boat at around 12'o clock afternoon and they will start going into river and showing all the views and places. It will be so good. Lunch will be prepared by themselves. If you wanna try the fishes you can buy give it to them they will cook it. There will be fish market in the middle of the way so, you can buy it.

In between there will be shops on boats by selling icecreams and some snacks items if you wanna buy you can buy it.

And also speed boats available you can even try that boats. We need to pay for that.

And if you wanna try Kerala ayurvedic massage you can try there. They will you to that place in the boat itself. Must try.

After completing all the views they will stop the boat at one point at evng time. All over the night boat will stop there.

It was life time serene experience back water transportation connectivity.u will c children going to school nd other activities through backwater

Good evening cruise. However saw few major hiccups. They took us to fish market along backwaters, where fish rates were 3-4 times more. AC in one room was not working. Even after informing to the boat person, he did not attend. One hour cruise was promised which was nothing but making us fool by having ride in nearby water. Cleanliness was okay. While leaving boat, staff just guided till we get down, and they disappeared. We were clueless where we had parked our vehicle. Lack of professionalism.

Nice vacation spot.your one day of tour will be on water were you can enjoy in the boat around the paddy field near the lake. Small villages, Public boat transport and a Church around waters which is being used as a shooting spot

Awesome experience. Please must visit this place. Current rate is 8000 per night but you can also pay for few hours. Very beautiful place. Love it. Go and experience.

Alleppy boat house was a very wonderful experience everyone can visit. One day and night stay in boat was really a very good experience. The facilities provided by them in the boat also very good. People who come with family will really have a very good time Thank you.

Good place for enjoying with friends but not worth for more then 5 hours take your own foods with you boat food not good.boat cost is little high

The boat was really good, nice and clean, the service was amazing, both before the boat and on the boat, food was really good. This was the time right after rains, they made sure even being sceptical we did not face any issues.

Worst, please dont choose, for sure they will screw up your nice time.
Here are my experience,
1. Used soap for bathing.
2. No tretment of water for bathing, directly they are giving from the same river.
3. Ac didnt work for a while, just imagine in humid situation.
4. Crew had drinks for the whole night, and just imagine how sequre you are.
5. Masquto eggs every were on the bed, and its falling from the ceiling.

Please do not choose this.

I had been here 2 years ago, it was a cool experience. The boat house which was given to us was clean and well furnished. The food served was tasty

We enjoyed 3 hours ride around finishing point and the backwaters, the boatman stopped at a place midway for fresh coconut, beautiful place for boating, what a scenery with lush greenery, houseboats constantly crisscrossing each other. Thoroughly enjoyed the ride for Rs 1000 for 3 hours and 4 people.

Step into the Venice of the East- Alappuzha. Glide over the tranquil alleppey backwaters at the break of dawn. Embrace the warmth of the morning Sun as the backwaters surrounding you spring to life. Listen to the symphony of quacking ducks;

Alleppey Boat house! Good place to start your trip in kerala. One night stay in boat house is really worth. Don't miss fish here its really good. Sight seeing will be not allowed after 6 PM. So plan accordingly.

Went in shikara for 2 hrs.good sight and on the way stopped for lunch. Advisable to take min 4 hrs of journey.u will consume half hr for food and balance 3.5 hrs you can see the scenery

Alleppy also know as Venice of east. Truly deserving name for this place. Here you can hire any boat or boathouse as per your convince and stay. For riding they charge your per hour basis. Boathouse usually comes with package you will get food and stay on boat.

Alleppey, officially known as Alappuzha, is popular for it's houseboat cruises passing through serene backwater. I went for a package tour to Munnar, Thekkady and Alleppey from Kochi and 1 night stay at the houseboat in Alleppey was a part of it. However later I realised that it is better not to book the houseboat in a package. Go directly to Alleppey Boat House and choose the houseboat as per your budget. In package trip, they charge you high but do not provide the houseboat as per your choice. On holidays and weekends, it is advised to reach at early hours to avoid the crowd and have a good deal. There are plenty of options to book the houseboats online for single day or multiple days. The houseboats are consist of drawing and dining area, bedroom, toilet, corridor and kitchen. There are option of single or multiple bedrooms houseboat. Our food was made freshly by the local cook inside the kitchen and all the dishes were mouth-watering, specially the "Karimeen" fry. Plenty of fishermen came near to the houseboat to sell fresh fish. You can buy and give them to the cook to prepare for your lunch. I was surprised to see the lifestyle of local people of Alleppey. Waterway is the only way of commutation. From passenger to gas cylinder, everything is depended on the local ferry services. At night they berthed the houseboat at a remote calm place full of coconut trees. You can see only the dim lights of two-three boats coming from far away and can witness the pollution free dark sky full of sparkling stars. There was no noise except the sound of the waves of the lake. Next day morning, again the houseboat passed through many picturesque villages and reached back to the jetty by 10am. If you are in Kerala, then it is must to spend at least one night in the houseboat of Alleppey. However you can also book a houseboat for 2-3 hours to roam around the backwater.
