Alleppey Boat House

Go for an hour or two, not more than that, don't book the boat for overnight, u will get bored

It was really good for two or more family get together.
Boat house food was really good and it was nice experience.

Nice place to visit especially the house boat. Enjoy the back water lakes. There are lot of tourists. Nice people.

It's indeed wowsome experience. Had booked Nohark's pappalil boat which is 5 bedroom boat with large upper deck with huge dining table. Rooms were neat, good food, courteous staff, 5 adults and 4 kids enjoyed the stay.

We have to bargain.a lot.majorly it's depend on season like Nov - March is season. Remaining in season.
As per my knowledge per night 4-5 k is reasonable in unseason.
We should clearly discuss how much time will travel. How long it will travel like area will cover. Buy any non-veg items by own from the outside. I mean before went into house boat should be buy. Otherwise they will cheat & will waste some amount of travel time.
Ask at what time AC will start? Ask is there any arrangements for mosquito coils/liquids etc.
Request them to start prepare just before 1hour otherwise it will become cool.

A great experience. Really calm waters.captivating scenery and nice food in the boat. Only bad part is that the boat moors by 5.30 pm and you are just idling till next morning. I recommend day cruises. Better to have the night stay in a waterfront villa. Also carry your mineral water, some dry snacks and mosquito repellent if you plan to stay. Reduced two stars bcoz the operators are not nature friendly. They dump wastes including human waste and plastic into the water. Felt a lot dirty after seeing it.
