Alleppuza back water is similar as Bangladesh river except coconut trees. They are well planned and tourists friendly. In photos this place is very much beautiful but prectical. Boats are also different. You can enjoy boat camping in alleppuza (alleppy). Another thing, before hiring boat you should think about rent of it. You can choose passenger boats for journeys. A lot of boatmen inspire you to take private boats and also for a long time (3-4 hour) which is not important. You can enjoy same track (4-5 km) in 1 hour site visits within Rs 100 per person. I wasted my Rs 3400 and 3 hour for the same. Boat speed is too much slower than normal! I request him to go in normal speed, but he didn’t consider me. So, I think that, I wasted my time and money there. India is a country of tourism. I recommend you to visit Bangladesh before alleppey to enjoy boat camping.

Very good experience, lunch dinner and breakfast all included, quality of food was awesome, dinning area is on the top of the boat, have a beautiful scenery during from dinning area, ship is movable (stay in night only), all staff was pro actively supportive.

First I have to tell you one thing, go with a good company, good friend, or family, one more thing, choose a good boat service and confirm that the boat crew has something to do with your vision, otherwise be very boring.it's a really good experience, every one should go for this at least once in your lifetime.i'm saying this because most of the people are running behind the money and luxury, and they don't even like to spent a penny of money from there hand for there refreshment or happieness.so we all just have one life so enjoy your life dont bouther about any other thing.live your life and be happy.

Great experience in house boat. I think Alleppey back waters in house boat is the one of the best one in the world. Good hospitality from staf side. Food is also super mainly river fish. Rooms are great and nice. Main attraction is nature. I have no words to explain the beauty of nature while we are traveling in house boat. Highly recommended

The best of Aleppey can be visited by Shikara Cruise or House Boat Cruise. One may Cruise through Aleppey backwaters to enjoy the wonderful nature.

One of the best option in Aleppey (Alappuzha). Float through vembanattu lake for a day in hoise boat. They will provide food water and other eatables. The houseboat will have 1/2/3 air-conditioned semi class bedrooms with attachéd bathroom (there are premium boats too).
Suggesting for family meet ups, friendly meet ups etc.

Food was super tasty and homely. I opted for day cruise on the house boat. We enjoyed the boat ride a lot. We purchased prawns which was served as snacks. It was very yummy. It was fun watching the local people busy in their daily activities.

Had an exotic experience. A must visit for all travel enthusiasts, who are planning to visit Kerala.

The boathouse we took had 3 rooms, and it costed us around 11k. It had a very music system and friendly staff. In the night they anchored the boat in a place and the staff asked us for all the requirements and dinner items. They prepared the dinner in the boat itself, which was amazing. Breakfast was also included in the price which was also very good. In the day time they took us to some local toddy shop for tasting palm wine with some good seafoods. It's a very nice experience one should really go for it if visiting Alleppey.

The boat experience is a bit tricky as there are a ridiculous amount of variations and options. We paid for one over night stay on a 2 decked houseboat for 7500 rupees meals included. The boat wasn't exactly the most modern boat but the food and staff were fantastic. We recommend you check the boat out before you hand over the cash. There's also a government tourism office at the bus station and they can organise trips for you, varying in price and quality. Also be aware houseboats are too big to go down the smaller canals so if that's what you wanted to see then maybe organise a canoe or kayak trip.

Great experience. Almost all boathouses will have a package which includes food and sightseeing. AC works only in night when they anchor boat on a riverbank

Nice view and nice climate and be careful in the night.lot of mosquitoes will come and some insects to visit. It will be of little bit costly. You can get Kallu and some back waters fish.

Good to stay one night, however mosquitoes problem at evening so better to close bedroom and turn on coils.

Fullfilled abt enjoyment wit frnds. But felt itlrritated and unsatisfactory by the boat person's behaviour

Sailing time must be decided before u pay for the boat ride.

Being there in the boat house is like living with nature.awsome place to enjoy the holidays.there are several boats owned by several owners.they cook in the boat itself on your choice of food.

The only problem was that the Boat manager agreed to take us to a veg restaurant between the boat journey, but in between the boat journey, he refused and dint keep his word.
