I stayed with my family for a night. It was very pleasant with all the amenities.

The staff were polite and attentive.

One of the highlight was food. We had vegetarian food and it was finger licking good.

I will recommend staying on this houseboat.

We stayed in a three bedroom house boat with upper deck on January 27th. The entire house boat experience was indeed mesmerizing. The food, the ambience, the service especially from Mr Libin Joseph was commendable. The morning sunrise experience was excellent and not to be missed.

Wonderful houseboat experience. It was a family trip. Especially the staffs are very supportive and friendly. We had taken boat for 9 to 5. We enjoyed a lot. It was our second houseboat experience but this was memorable and worth for the money. Thank you for your service

It’s definitely a kind of experience everyone should have in Kerela trip. I checked many boat house on multiple booking website and this Alleppey Housboats was the one which my friend recommended. The hospitality I received was totally overwhelming. I would give 10/10 in cleanliness, security, food and on the behaviour of houseboat staffs. I ordered some dishes to modify and the chef on boat was totally fine to do it. I felt like I’m home, my son used to have milk in evening and morning, he got it on the quoted time, this extra little care for the customers are things which matters most. You’ll also get a chance t9 do some paid activities in your evening sailing time.

Kera houseboats were really good. We were there for a day and it is totally well maintained and clean houseboats. The food they provided were too good. The people were friendly.

It was a great experience. We opted for the day tour 11 am to 5 pm. (be on time as we were late reached by 12 pm and lost an hour)

The house boat offered was very clean and tidy. Amenities were stocked we even had two bedrooms to relax. The crew members were courteous and introduced themselves during onboarding.

Meals - they served us welcome drinks lunch and high tea with pakodas.
I must say that the lunch is very elaborate and they cook a lot of food, ie the portion size is huge. We had chicken curry, fish fry, rice chappatis / phulkas, crabs (bought cost extra) daal, one coconut based dry sabzi, sambhar, salad and curd. But must add also that the food was very tasty though the chicken was spicy for my palate! Our fault as we didn't tell them about our spice level preference.
The tea was very good though onion pakodas could be better.

Boat ride - it was smooth and we also got a speed boat ride at an additional cost, drop off at a small island with crab store (this is where we bougjt the crabs) and coconut water wala.
A floating icecream boat by Amul also paid us a visit and wr got icecream post lunch.
Our captain was like our tour guide and explained about the area / surroundings / population / demographic etc

Overall had a good time. Definitely recommend them if you're opting for a day tour.

You can simply close the eyes and opt for house boat service with them. They have good coordination, trustful, supporting staffs.

We were two couples and we rented a 2 bedroom full AC premium houseboat from Waves & Dales for 1 night stay.

We were new to the concept of overnight stay on a houseboat and were little hesitant while booking, however Libin from Waves and Dales patiently answered our queries and shared all the relevant details along with the houseboat pictures. This made the booking process seamless.

Houseboat was neat with modern amenities. There were 3 staff members on boat including the boat captain. Staff were courteous, friendly and highly professional. Food was delicious with great variety for lunch, dinner and breakfast. We really enjoyed the food and snacks/ fruits during our stay. Staff members went out of their way to assist us wherever required. Big shout out to Manoj (helper), Santosh (cook) and Rakesh (captain)

It was overall an awesome experience with Waves and Dales houseboat and we will certainly recommend it to our friends and family!

It was one great experience. The boat was neat calm and one of the best place to relax and restart yourself. The staffs were friendly and helpful. They supported us throughout our stay in the boathouse. The food was awesome, authentic Kerala style fish curry was sooo delicious. Food was sooooo good! Stay was good! But AC was not working fine during night.remaining everything was good.

We are a family of 4.2 children aged 14 and 16 years.
We had made our booking from kolkata where we were virtually shown a houseboat. Mr Sachin gave a videocall of the boat and send pictures too.and only after that we made a booking. Only 2 days before our arrival to Alleppey as already when we were at Periyar, he gave us a call saying I don’t want to give that boat that’s a old one and I have a booking with bachelors so I will allot old boat to bachelors and will give our new house boat to you.
1. We hardly had any option as we had made payment
2. We had to trust him as he was saying this after money was transferred

1. As mentioned to save fuel lunch break was for 1 hour but we were all done within 3o mins
2. We took an auto to see Arabian Sea and came back and saw not all but basic light were on. No lights at the passage, no lights in stairs, no lights were there in upper deck where my younger son was sitting. I realised this at dinner time as we got busy with the TV. The display screen had lines we called up MR Sachin, and we got our fire stick, so the technician fixed it up but a TV without display was disturbing. So we slowly moved our attention and wanted to sit on the upper deck. Shocking there were no lights on the stairs upper deck, you are charging 13000 with check in checkout A/C. Houseboat showed to us were changed at last monent on top of that the toilet seat were broken. Only food was tasty. Otherwise house boat experience MR Sachin you did cheat us.

Booked a Private Boat for my brother on 24/01/2023. Great people and Great service. Amazing touring site with amazing views? If you want a ride with home stay feeling please choose them.

One of our best experiences in Kerala! The houseboat, boasting of an upper and lower deck alongside an ensuite room and kitchen, was clean. The route over our 6-hour stay was scenic and the staff was helpful in pointing out sights. In particular, the lunch and snacks prepared by the chef were flavourful and delicious with a fair bit of variety. Can't recommend it enough.

The only suggestion I would like to make is: when the houseboat stops in evening please make it at a place that is around the shops, beach etc so we can utilise our time. Otherwise it was too secluded.

We rented a 2 bed houseboat back in Jan 2023. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The crew was friendly and polite. The food and service was excellent. I highly recommend them for your visit.

Found the houseboat clean and customer responsiveness also good. Food was decent although less variety. However less stars because of lack of service, the staff was lazy and unwilling to support any requests. Also, the 'tactic' of saving fuel by mandating 1 hr lunch time even though it was wrapped much earlier isn't ethical on the part of the boat crew/owner

Good hospitality by the cruise members captain and cook, mr.libin and others. The cleanliness, ambience of the house boat was gr8. Very cooperatuve staffs. On the whole, was a nice experience in the middle of backwaters with waves and dales.

Waves and dales houseboats were well maintained and the staffs were friendly and helpful. Houseboat captain Mr. Saroon was very helpful and accepted all our requests. He even dropped us at our resort.
They should be little more careful with the food -Lunch provided on the on the date of boarding was not good. I think that they provided old dhal curry from morning. Managed to eat with Curd which is not acceptable for the money we pay.
They cooked fresh for dinner and that tasted very good.

Venice of the East.truly magical. And the best part, you wont see plastic bottles being loitered on the water. People are polite. Best time to visit is during Onam festival. Visited once, will visit again. Good experience

Good boat with very friendly and helping staff. Food was nice like homely feel. Libin helped us for each and every information and arranged cake for our wedding anniversary. I suggest please change/wash the curtains which is very dirty and Ac is not upto mark. Rest all good and satisfactory. Value for money

We had booked a 3 room Houseboat from Waves and Dales. It was a wonderful stay. A lifetime experience of kerala backwater houseboat.
Houseboat was well maintained, neat and clean one with all the modern amenities.
The Houseboat staff was very helpful and cooperative. All our needs were taken care off. Lunch, Dinner and next day Breakfast was served.
Would love to visit again.

We had an excellent stay at Waves and Dales (Lakes home boat). The ambience was beautiful, spacious, Best for camera and lovely. The food was delicious and tasty we loved it, Don't miss puttu and kadala curry. The service and people were very good and made our stay pleasant.

It was my daughter’s first birthday and we were anxious about arranging it in house boat as we never visited one before but to our surprise it went awesome and become a memorable one.

We had booked a one day stay in a 2 bedroom houseboat with help from Sachin from waves and dales.
He not only helped us book the houseboat but was also in touch with us at each step of the way.

I wanted to give a shout out to Sachin that even though we had to cancel our booking at last moment and readjust it for next day he was very understanding and even helped us find a small shikara ride and houseboat at last moment for the next day. He was even ready to adjust the amount against a future ride in coming days. Very few people even think beyond themselves and this hospitality is one of the main reasons I would recommend waves and dales!

Even though we couldn't experience your lovely houseboat this time we intend to visit you guys again in the near future!

We had a booked a 3 bedroom air-conditioned houseboat in August. A special mention to Mr. Sachin Thomas and Mr. Binu Thomas who were continuously tracking from the date we had booked the houseboat, till we had reached the houseboat. They helped us in boarding our luggages and helping elderly to reach the boat. Three helpers were trustworthy and so hospitable. The afternoon food was average, but the dinner and breakfast were good. They cooked to our expectations. The houseboat was well maintained. As Mr. Sachin mentioned it was a new boat too. Our overall experience was wonderful and memorable. We heartfully thank the service offered to us by the team.
