The stay was pleasant. Secent room service. Good food in the restaurant. The room was nice. Nice jacuzzi in the bathroom. They also give you soap for foam bath. Bathroom had some flies stuck to the wall, hence deducting 2 stars for the room.

Excellent stay we had with feel good experience. Neatly maintained rooms and room service.

Luxury and comfortable stay with peaceful environment. The view of the plantations is breathtaking and the service is also very good. Food is also very yummy!

When you are in Thekkady don't look for any other resorts just book amaana plantation resort and trust me you will have an incredible and unforgettable experience with superb nature. And the staff is very supportive and food is awesome. Also there are so many activities you will enjoy

Jacuzzi, the plantation walk, food everything is amazing

Our stay at Amaana Plantation Resort was superb. The property is beautifully peaceful, situated within a pepper and cardamom plantation - the view from our bedroom window was serene. On top of this, the selection of activities available ensure guests always have something to do. There is a guided plantation walk and a night time campfire available. Also, there is a small lake on the property where guests can attempt fishing. Hours of fun.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile for guest satisfaction. The food is equally as brilliant - there is a large breakfast selection and an extensive variety of dinner options from an abundance of nationalities. The room service is also great - the food arrives quickly and as fresh/warm as you would expect in the restaurant.

There is also a very organised taxi service available who will take you - on impressively short notice - to Thekkaddy town, Periyar national tiger reserve or your next destination for a great price.

Overall it is a fantastic resort and I cannot recommend enough if you are travelling to Thekkaddy.

Our stay was extremely comfortable and the staff was prompt and warm with great hospitality. We loved the overall ambience of the resort, with our room facing the lush green plantation and the big pond. The rooms were neat and tidy, though the jacuzzi maintainance could be better. Food was also decent.

The resort is located on the kk road few kms before kumily, easy to find and reach. There are 9 rooms and all are facing the big pond in the centre where you can fish. They also provide a facility of plantation walk through the cardamom plantation.

The resort is beautiful and well maintained. Very good service as well.

Green and Peaceful resort. The rooms were well maintained and quite spacious. Food was great. Service was great was well. Checkin time is too late at 2 PM. Location is good and is on the way to Sathram jungle safari. Overall a great stay

Great property, great hospitality, good food, good stay. The whole point of coming to this resort was to experience jacuzzi with the view. Unfortunately it was not working and it had a maintenance and hot water issue Made us upset with the whole trip there. Could have informed or fixed it.

The hotel is having a really good ambience and very polite and supporting staff. They are really very helpful as well. I really would like to suggest this resort for stay.

Ambience of rooms with so much of greenary around is graded as Excelkent. Hospitality and staff behavior is extradinary.
Specifically Mr. RAM, ANANDU are superb. Needs encouragement.

The resort is located in nice place. And their service is good. And the morning views are awesome.

Detailed review:

We have been staying at Jacuzzi villa for two days now. Probably the best thing about this resort is that it has few rooms - people will be giving you special attention and you'll have a lot of privacy in comparison to big commercialized resorts.
Room and bathroom - Mind blowing, Very spacious. It had everything we needed, including a hair dryer, kettle, water bottle, tea/coffee supplies, shampoo, soap, combs, etc. We did not have to request anything. Bed spreads and pillows are very clean and properly arranged. You will be getting a good vibe as soon as you enter the room. The bathroom ambience is so pleasant, you'll want to bathe for a long time!
Balcony - This is my favorite spot. Here, you will be immersed in the beautiful view for hours. You can relax in cozy chairs with a hot tea and snack while enjoying the view.
Cleanliness - I am a cleanliness freak and this place has exceeded my expectations.
Service - Staffs are very friendly and they will fulfill your need with less waiting time. They keep asking for feedbacks on the food taste.
Others - You can also go for a walk around the area and take nice pictures:)

Things to improve -
1. Some food items are little expensive and also, the breakfast varieties can be improved.
2. Although all staffs wear masks at all times, I recommend that they check each customer's temperature when they check in and sanitize their belongings.

The stay was amazing. The view and the ambience are totally wonderful. The staffs are very helpful and kind. On the whole the trip was amazing.

It was really beautiful place to stay when in Thekkady. It was our third day post staying at Munnar. By the time we reached it was really dark when we checked in. Next day morning when we woke up and saw outside, it was like we are in heaven, birds chirping, fresh air, lot of trees, lake view and small hills around it. After seeing all this we were about to cancel all scheduled plans to stay back to enjoy this beauty. However we went to Periyar National park only and skipped rest of the activities for the day and came back to resort in noon. Then we wandered a bit in the Plantation area, done small hike and sat besides the lake. The feeling was really good and great escape from routine rat race. Late evening Candle light dinner was planned by staff and it was really amazing. The service given by the staff was good too, specially I would like to recommend Mr. Ram Charan, he is really gem of a person, will never disappoint you and apart from all this he gives lot info about trees, places around and many things.

Amana plantation resort is an excellent property with very polite and caring staff. Situated right into the spice plantation throwing beautiful nature all around the resort.

It is an extremely beautiful property. Feels like a you living inside a forest. The staff (Ram and Ashwin) were also very helpful and the service and food everything is very good. You must stay for at least 2 days.

Had an amazing stay at the property. We booked the property for 2 nights for our honeymoon. The candle light dinner was lovely. Their trekking path is something to be mentioned, it’s very photogenic. Enjoyed the stay!

This place so so beautiful. Right on the highway but still away from the road, Amaana plantation resort is a 20 acre property. You can go trekking around the property or go fishing in the pond. The rooms are very beautiful and cosy. Very well maintained. They have two kinds of rooms the jacuzzi villa and the bathtub room. Both are very beautiful.
The service was impeccable. And also the food was yummy. I did not wanted to come back.

We had stayed at this resort on last Saturday and the place is worth visiting for people who are looking out for a relaxed weekend and some quality time with your folks. The staff is super friendly and the service is top notch. The rooms are very clean and all of them has a really good window view and the balcony is awesome too. Overall the entire family was happy about the stay there. We have already recommended the place to few of our friends and we are also definitely going back there once more.

Service: We had an issue with the room and they were quick to help us with it (that was so sweet of them) They only issue was that, it almost felt like they kicked us out from the resort. We were packing and one of the boys came and said its time because “other guests are waiting for this room (around 11: 58). ”

Breakfast: The fruits were cut with a knife that was either not washed or they use it to cut vegetables.
In general I wouldn’t recommend this place for food.

Rooms: it was clean and nicely arranged

Location: the best part of this resort was the location. Its located right in the middle of cardamom plantation. ️

This place has great view but outside Thekkady, You won't find anything much to do in Thekkady so you can have great use of this place as it has fishing, plantation and everything

One of the best places visited in kerala.loved the ambience, and the hospitality of the staffs was remarkable, we felt as a second home. The food was also one of the best thing compared to many hotels I have stayed in kerala. There's indoor and outdoor games, campfire, candlelight dinner for couples and also fishing. The stay here was unforgettable.

Awesome resort and jakuzzi rooms are so good. They have a big property.peper trees, jack fruit trees, papaya trees and many more. Indoor games, outdoor games.fishing, campfires. Lovely and soothing.and owsome breakfast. Hospitality in the hotel is very warm. We were attended by Mr Ram and he is very co operative and helpful. Thekaddi can't have better than this.and All activities like katthakali, marshal arts, tribal dance, musical fountains and elephant rides, are near to the resort. You may definitely pay your visit to the resort.

Amaana plantation is on the Kottayam Kumily road, 4-5km before the Kumily town when coming from Kottayam. The plantation has individual villas with single and multiple room configurations. The plantation also has a wonderful restaurant on the property that serves breakfast lunch and dinner. Even though the items are a bit pricey the food is tasty and sufficient. They have a 15acre cardamom plantation where we are free to roam around. They also organise hikes and camp fires on a daily basis. A barbecue can be arranged upon request and is chargeable. Even though the season is during the winters, visiting the amaana during the kerala monsoon will be a wonderfull experience that'll be enjoyed by anyone.

Location is awesome for nature and peace lovers. Service is good. Jacuzzi was an ultimate experience. It had a beautiful view from it. There was a small pond in front of our room in which we could see the fishes from our room. And food was excellent especially the local cuisine.

1. No continuous hot water. It comes and goes, difficult to enjoy the shower or hot tub.
2. No good noise insulation between adjacent rooms in the villa - could hear the neighbours untill after 11pm.

Amazing place and amazing people who pamper you throughout your stay! Rooms are very spacious and the entire property is spic and span. You have more than enough facilities inside as well to relax and pass time. They have their private fishing pond, lush green spice gardens, tree houses, play space with badminton nets and also a neat kids play area. They also serve amazing food - name it and you get it cooked fresh and hot! Staff are extremely courteous and friendly.
