Ambiswamy's Vegetarian Restaurant

Cash counter staffs behaviour was very rude. (a front cash counter guy who wear a tocken number 3 on his pocket on 18th January 2024,12: 40 Pm) He behave like we beg food on the cash counter. However the food was tasty. Sambar serving with masala dosa was yummy.

Been here multiple times. Good place to have veg options. The place is usually crowded but you got a lot of tables to dine in. Fast service as well. Tried a lot of options from the menu. The food tastes good.

The place is always busy and crowded. Vegetarian food is simply awesome. It's very difficult to get a parking space there.

It is very close to edappally signal. And parking lot is spacious. So easy to visit.
We have to take the coupon before sitting.
And masala dosa and ghee roast are just ok as any other good vegetarian restuarants.
Not feel as kidsfriendly.
Most probably Crowded environment.
But easy to park while coming from vyttila side, or kaloor side.

Overall, the restaurant's location is in a very crowded area, making it difficult to find a peaceful dining experience. The constant noise of plates clattering and staff shouting adds to the commotion. While the restaurant does offer vegetarian options, the ambiance lacks the tranquility one would hope for. Additionally, the food served was of average quality.

Stupid policy of buying tokens before eating.
Dosa was not fully cooked.
Idli was soggy.
Wada was cold.
Tea was not hot.
Most importantly they must have forgotten to add salt in the food as there was no taste.

Best place to have breakfast. They've good collection of dosa's. Have enough parking space. The problem is they don't have A/C room and you need pay the bill before you eat.

Good vegetarian restaurant at Edappally junction. Easily accessible from bus stops and metro station. Also parking facility is provided. Food is good and tasty. Restaurant is neat and tidy. Only con is the token system before food. Prices are also reasonable. Its a good vegetarian option. Best for breakfast.

A good vegetarian friendly restaurant. They have parking and seating arrangement is available downstairs as well as upstairs. The pricing is budget friendly.

The food was good and reasonable. Many waiters to attend. You need to take token for food. Meals, North indian food and chapati is also available.

There is no air conditioning. It was very hot. Poorly lit area. Only one small wash area is there. Food was average as compared to other vegetarian options. Please don't expect high standard of food and taste.

Located close to Lulu mall.it's a clean and convenient place to have a good vegetarian meal. They have plenty of parking space too. There is apparently a North Indian cuisine section on the first floor

Its a fine restaurant. You can find tasty vegetarian food items here within affordable rate. The food items and Curry's are delicious. They offer a good parking area, even if its in the heart of Edappally town. Service is good. And they accept digital payments along with cash payments. They also have another branches in Ernakulam city.

Loved the food there. Very good and fast service and the staff are really caring. Tables r cleaned immediately and no menace of flies. Being jus opposite to the happening place in Edapally, Lulu Mall, its easily located. Pure vegetarian food and amount of food served also good. Though I felt the price being bit high, it was better than munching on burgers or pizzas in the mall.

The restaurant is known for South Indian dishes. Dosas are excellent especially the Ghee roast and Onion roast. Idlis are huge and served three on a plate, which is quite a large serving. Idli quality is not so good, as it is bit hard.
We went to Ambiswamy's for a filter coffee and had dosa and idli with it, all the items were tasty and nice, the restaurant is big and offers all local vegetarian dishes, good place to have a snack or a meal in Kochi.

Ambiswamys Vegetarian Restaurant is very visibly and conveniently situated adjacent to the Edappilly junction towards the south western side. This is a pure vegetarian hotel where vegetarian lunch and also dosa items, vada, boori etc are served hot. There is sufficient parking area in the front area and this is a very good hotel but without rooms for stay of guests.

Food was good. Famous for south Indian food. The only thing which was disgusting is the bill that we should pay at first before eating the food. We have to stand in queue and give the order and the money before sitting in the table. This way is not customer friendly in my personal opinion.

Food is clean and tasty but token before eating is bit old way. As I often decide what to eat after sitting and looking around or from the menu. Price is Affordable also.

Tasty food, have parking space. But they spoil all these with unprofessional service. Taking unexpectedly more time for service. Won't prefer anymore if in a hurry.

Food was okay only. Token system there is not that good. They took too much time to serve the food. Premises are okay. They have enough parking space infront of the restaurant. It is easy to notice the restaurant from normal traffic. Suitable for families.

I like this place for Vegetarian rice and Dosa items.quite good parking available.near to Lulu mall Edapally. Staffs are very cooperative.nice, hygienic and relatively reasonably priced.

Very pathetic that you have to first pay to select your dinner items too. It's okay to have a token system for lunch, but doing this for tiffin items is so so bad and un professional.
Imagine a family waiting at the bill counter first and tell each item and pay for it and then go to your table. Food is good though.

Decent restaurant for vegetarian food. Food was superb there staff was so good. Cleanliness was maintained. They served water boiled with some Ayurvedic jadi-booti and that was so tasty as well.

Been to all their outlets in Kochi. Good food. U don't get a classy feeling there. Everything ordinary. And make sure u have solid cash. They have no card payments or paytm or such things. Excellent service. Its busy almost all the time. But u get proper attention. Always serves as much as u need and cost is not too high.

A very good vegetarian restaurant near to Edapally metro station. Very neat and clean. First you have to take coupon at counter, staff will collect it and serve you on your table. Food quality is really good at very reasonable prices. You can really enjoy the food here. Staff is good. Car parking is also available. I am recommending this restaurant.

Had a bad experience. Visited them last Sunday for breakfast. I had my mother in law (84 yrs), my wife and myself. My M I L has difficulty walking. We took her in and she chose a table that was empty but not cleaned. She kept on asking a gentleman supervising to get the table cleaned so we could sit. He was rude and arrogant. Finally, I decided to get their attention and got angry. Then they got into action. It is very inconsiderate to treat the elderly in this manner. We were seated right beside the cash counter, in case the management want to talk to this uncouth person working that day. Not worth going.

Nice food.pocket friendly prices.good service. Once they happened to take 180 rs extra from me by mistake.ie, first i paid through my debit card, but the internet connection was damn slow, so i paid by cash. 2 hrs later i got an sms telling about the payment. So i called them the next day n presented the matter with the transaction id. The man expressed his willingness to refund the same. Then i told him i was at my workplace-kanhangad-approximately 350km from edappally n is not sure when will come again to the restaurant. I visited the same restaurant after 45 days n presented the matter to the reception. They readily gave me the refund as discount in the bill.

I optes for veg meals but was very disappointed, not at all satisfied with the quality. I had high expectations from this place. Not worth your money.
