Last Sunday I visited with my family and had biriyani, prawn roast and fish pollichathu, and meals after that my wife started vomiting in front of hotel and after coming back home she and me both had stomach pain vomiting and Diarrhea. My hotal bill was 1100 rs now spending 6 times more for treatment
Service is good. You get your orders served within 10 minutes. Taste is kind of bad or below average. Prices are pretty affordable. Menu is mostly seafood centric especially for lunch. Only few chicken/beef items were available but none of the items were good.
Food is okay Terrible service I felt from one man who was wearing a black and white lined shirt with a plastic head coverage and a fair one. (28/12/2022) Usually gave his service upstairs He is a crook Beware of the money you place on the bill pads. Take a picture if you can otherwise somebody will loot you. Poor cleanliness.
Good Food. Nice atmosphere. Customer support is very much super. Super tasty natural made food available here.good staff. Very easy to locate. Actually situated on the road front. Parking is also fine. Thanks so much for the good food and love
Nice ambience and pleasing service from the staff. Located between police training college and PWD rest house at thycaud. Very tasty food and a homely atmosphere. You should at least once.
After the restaurant is moved to this location, i dined here today for the first time. Ambience is okay. Limited parking. Food is okay.
Customer service is not up to the mark. They are nowhere near they used to be when i dined in their restaurant some time ago at the previous location near Gandhi Bhavan.
If you are looking for just traditional ഊണ് (rice with or without fish) you won't regret dining at the PWD restaurant just in the other side of the compound
Good restaurants and tasty foods. Great experienced homely atmosphere place. Building design is tharavadu model. Each rooms are arranged as dinning areas. Meals and fish pollichathu is tasty and great combo.
Nice hospitality and friendly serving staffs. In roof is also a dinning hall.tables and decorated lights make more beautiful to the ambience. Price is affordable with taste.need to wait little bit more time at peaks.
This restaurant is runned by cine artist #ammaveedufamilyrestuarant
I tried fish fry with meals.fry was so tasty, I think Kishore had taken the recipies from Toddy shaps all over Kerala and makes the magic masala.the masala is very good and tasty.parking space is not so large so bear that in mind.they need some time to fry the fish so try to go early.not tasted other non veg items.so for fish fry meals this is one of the best place in Trivandrum. Try it.
Crowded simple ambience, it's a much hyped place not worth the money spent. Meals tasted average & the prawns masala had more heads than body felt like cheated. I will not reccomend if you are a foodie like me. It's a thumbs down.
Poor customer service. The provided duck meat I think was not fresh. I had visited your shop after watching Ad videos on YouTube but it's of poor quality especially the non-veg meat items. All customers are not given equal priority, we didn't get the payasam along with our meal while it's available for a group of persons sitting together beside us. Please be aware of the customer service hereafter and try to keep on-time feedbacks at the billing counter for better analysis.
Quality food and good service. Ambience is good. People are very friendly. Food is very tasty. They serve excellent food with such a reasonable rate. Other restaurants are like serving very bad food with very high rate. But Amma Veedu restaurant is different with homely ambience and food.
We expected small fishes when ordered, but they were huge. A heads up while taking orders would have helped. We went during rush hour, so can't blame service guys, but still could have been better.
Need to have more washbasins with tap water. We had to wait for our turn to pour water using a steel glass from a bucket of water, which was totally inconvenient.
