I ordered a small chicken pizza and a veg sandwich.quantity wise not at all worthier actually cheating showing big picture of the dish and even taste wise very very bad even got a hair from the cutlet in the sandwich. I think the smaller shops offer much better food

I had high expectations when I ordered a cake from this shop, but the reality fell short. The cake I received seemed past its prime, affecting its flavor and texture. I believe that a focus on delivering fresh products is vital for customer satisfaction. I initially had a disappointing experience with the cake, and unfortunately, the customer service that followed didn't meet my expectations. I raised the issue, but the response seemed indifferent, leaving me feeling unheard and unsatisfied. Highlighting a need for improvement in handling customer concerns.

My first purchase but bad experience.
I purchased a cake on 21/08/23. It was my cousin’s wedding anniversary and I thought I would surprise him with a big cake. It cost me around Rs 1500 and had high expectations. However, when I first received the cake they misspelled what they wrote on it. They corrected it and gave back the cake writing in an absolute horrible handwriting which was so embarrassing when I gifted it to my cousin.

A beautiful and amazing cake shop. I really love this place. They provide the best cakes and sweets in town. I bought the seven wonders cake for my aunt's birthday and it was really delicious. They also provide several other sweets like donuts, chocolate etc. There were serveral staff and it took about 5 minutes to get the order ready.

Ordered pinatta cake on swiggy from this place. It took a lot more than the estimated time that they showed still I would have given five if the cake was good.

Choco chillz was the cake that i choose bcuz it was mentioned as the best seller. This is the worst cake I have ever tasted in my entire life. It is literally some tasteless choco sponge cake soaked in sugarless sugar syrup, or you may say water and coated with tasteless choco sauce. There was no whipped cream on the cake.there were teeny tiny dots of whipped cream around the cake but nothing even between the layers. I never thought that a cake can be this tasteless. I can't believe I spent 933 bucks on that cake.

I have heard good things about this place years back. But if you go through the recent reviews it will be really hard for you to find a good one.

Really bad customer service. When I went there they treated us really cheap way.especially two girls who works there. Really disappointing.

Poor customer service from two ladies in the shop. I recommend all the customers don't go there if they are in the shop.else you have experience like us.other shops are also there.you will get better customer service

The quantity of cheesecake was question able, it has very butteriness to which I i personally find to be alot the creamcheese was to curdled up. The blueberry cheesecake was good, the mild flavor from blueberry jam was cherry on top.

I am a Executive chef since 10 years in hospitality industry in middle East.
Last day I brought one black forest cake from this shop, wich was totally unacceptable.they are charging for little Cream and chocolate sponge with sugar syrup. Maybe they don't know how to make black forest cake or they don't want to meet the quality of the product.
Anyway this is my last time experience with this shop.

The cakes are amazing! I drool thinking about it but the serviced on a platter of Victorian morality. On Christmas I went to get my usual share of ammas yummies and the staff kinda body shamed me in front of the other customer s and I complained to their manager. It's crazy how people think they own my body. Whoever that is, none of your freaking business right! So if you are shoping here wear something that covers your skin! Merry Christmas let's embrace yet another imported splash of morality on this beautiful colonial holiday! Cheers

Got a carrot and dates cake on 21st nov 22 and it was full of fungus and when informed the response was very rude and irresponsible.
Posted a complaint to health department

I bought cake for my daughter birthday very bad taste and watery not recommended at all

I did get a bad experience there. A lady make fool of me. I like there cake and pastries but I will not go there.

I often buy cake from irinjalakuda ammas pastries and it was so good and great quality. Yesterday I bought a birthday cake from them red velvet. The worst cake I have tasted recently. When I say worst one I mean that much worst. And the staffs where not that much welcoming. And they cake models that they made was very old model that we get in early 20's. I mean wth. What happened to ammas pastries standard?

Bad customer service. I got a dead fly from the cake. When i complained their response was ridiculous. I can't expect such kind of behaviour from a reputed place such a s ammas.

Please dont fall for sample catalogue of cake models coz that might nowhere be closer. Even if you preorder a fresh cake u sure will get a dry layer in it. Untrustworthy.

This is the place to have pastries and cakes from when in Irinjalakuda. Their wide variety of cakes and pastries are also priced quite affordably and their hygiene standards and their quality is beyond what words can describe. We have ordered more than 4 or 5 large cakes for multiple occasions from them and they never ever failed to deliver the best possible cakes ever. The recent order was for 2kg 6 Wonders cake for our 2nd wedding anniversary and we loved it a lot. We also bought an Easter egg from them just for fun. It was fun cracking it open, but we wished the chocolates inside were a bit more premium and a bit more in number.

If you are looking for an expensive place to spend some quality time, this is the best place in irinjalakuda.
Even though food is a little expensive, it is of excellent quality and fresh.
They have a wide variety of cakes and other bakery items.

In my perspective this is the reasonable place for birthday cakes in irinjalakuda. I am a person who doesn't like cakes and sweets. I usually buy there mainly for my kid's birthday.

I usually bought birthday cake from a place that is near to amma's pastry. This time I purchased a Barby cake from same place which cost around 2200 Rs. My kid also want cup cake which she saw in my neighbour's birthday.

I understand that cup cake is only available at Amma's pastry and that is the reason I went here. The staff's are very cooperative. The cup cake was not in stock, but they took the order and prepared the item for me in limited period of time.

I also wonder when I heard the rate of Barby cake, it starts from 900 Rs for which I paid 2200 Rs on the other place.

Taste is excellent, but they must improve the quality of writing.they spoiled the cake with writing

Worst experience ever. The red velvet cake I ordered was literal garbage. Cake's Sponge was too dry. You people should be ashamed to charge so much for such worst quality. I bought this for an occasion and lost my dignity. I recommend everyone else to consider some other place.

Very sad experience. Pathetic and Irresponsible response when Contacted for a home delivery which is hardly 3 kms distant.
It's a request, not to mislead public with wrong and unachievable promises. Won't be approaching anymore, thanks for your services till date.

Good products.poor marketing strategy and staff.so better not to buy.ultra waste in terms of attitude.they treat as if we r beggars who are willing to eat their jhoota.

Excellent cake, we all relished it to the core. However the Customer service and process needs serious attention. We ordered the cake one week in advance. We had to pay 100% in advance while ordering the cake, which is very unusual. On enquiring if we can pay partial amount as advance which is the normal accepted way for all other similar establishments, the staff replied rather rudely that they can't due to their process. The photoprint was shoddily printed.

Very bad 1st experience. I usually buy my cakes from Navya Bakes in Irinjalakuda and am very happy with the quality there. However, this time I thought of making a switch and trying out Amma’s pastries in Irinjalakuda. The following are their problems:
1. I went there on the eve of my parent’s wed anniversary to order a cake and the guy at counter was least bothered about having a customer in the store.
2. He was immersed into his phone when I entered and was having a hard time looking up at me when I was asking questions.
3. On asking if I can order a cake, his reply was without looking up from his phone, “just come tomorrow and get it”. And he said this in the least pleasing way possible.

4. I bought the cake anyway cos for some reason I expected their cakes to have better quality than their customer service. But that’s disappointing too.

5. I bought a white forest which according to them is a special white forest but trust me it tastes nothing like one.

6. The cardboard at the base of the cake is meant to be rigid and stable. I have enclosed a photograph of the cardboard condition when I reached home and my home is only 15 mins away.

7. These kinds of things are never supposed to happen.

8. I have always hated the customer service in Navya bakes too inspire of their quality products but that’s because there is always a great of deal people buying from them at any time of the day. The case with Amma’s is different they have usually 2-3 customers at any single point of time and they can’t even treat them properly.

Bad repsonse when approached for Home Delivery. So, immediately got it done through another bakers. If you are not in a condition to do home delivery on time, better don't publicise that way. You'll lose more customers.

Im a regular customer of AMMAS Pasteries and visited more 2 or 3 outlets other than Irinjalakuda. I feel the customer services in Irinjalakuda outlet need to improve. They are not listening to customer needs and every time in counter there are bunch o f people's busy with their work. In every shop a customer wants to visit again.

I order blueberry cheesecake and they fooled us by giving some normal cream cake with too much cream. Very dissatisfied
I have eaten their chocolate cakes which were great but this.

Worst! They don't even know to write a name on the cake. Bad job and very bad customer service.ruined my baby's b'day cake.

Cake is absolute gold. But, Man the customer service so bad you may want to cancel your order.
They don't even care if their cakes sell or not.

They have variety in cakes. The taste is also above average. They also offers small snacks like croissants and sandwiches at an affordable rate. The cookies were not upto mark. Takes custom orders for cakes. Location is prime with ample parking space

I bought a cake today which was not good at all, to increase the weight of the cake the are Appling more sugar syrup, due to which the cakes taste is really not good. Not at all happy with the product and service. And on 10th August I bought cake, the issue was their at that time too. Very disappointing. And the female sales person on the shop was rude too.

The products sold are nice and branded.
Have parking fesilities for two wheelers, but for cars i think it will be difficult.

Quality stuff, May feel bit costly but worth it for the quality, good variety as well in terms of pastries.

I had ordered a design cake from Ammas Irinjalakuda. The cake price was 2800 of which 1400 was for design is what they said which I felt was pricey when we compare Bangalore and other cities.

The cake was a disaster interms of design and charged 1400 which I felt was totally bad.and not worthy at all

Good part was the taste of the cake was good.

So overall if you looking for just a cake. You could go for it.

If you plan for theme based cake I would say think again.

The cake was FANTASTIC! I have to tell you, the flavor was out of this world.and 1 more thing very friendly and helpful staff at the reception.

Poor customer service, i am a regular customer of Amma pastries. I bought 2 piece cake and they charged 80 Rs but cakes were too small and when I informed them about this they were least bothered about it. I used to buy piece cakes regularly and this time I was really shocked by seeing the size.
