I had extremely bad experience from the boutique AMRAYA BY AKSA. I customized a saree with AMRAYA BY AKSA and received an inferior quality product.
The saree i received was shrunk and had uneven width almost about 14 inches difference. Anybody could figure out their dishonesty towards the work at the very first glance itself. Again, the color i asked for is not what they have dyed. I expected minimum standard width for the border of the saree which was also not there and the border work started from the middle of the pleats which was also inappropriate. The blouse and underskirt also had fitting issues. I had to take it to another shop nearby to make it fit.
And also, it was supposed to be delivered on 25th of April which was again delayed and received just few days before the function.
All she done was to arrange a person here at ekm to redo the saree. And for this, the saree had to undergo a recurring ironing procedure after so much of ironing the saree had lost its freshness, and the dyed color was faded at some part and darker at the other.
And all she say is, she managed to fix the saree.
Heartbrokenly i had to wear it with all the flaws. Cuz i didn’t have much time to buy a new saree and get the blouse done. By the time my baby got sick due to the continuous travel and had to take him to the hospital.
And this was what her final messages,
“I have contacted your friend Namitha regarding, I tried messaging you couple of times.
How shamelessly you wore the saree and complaining. ”
This is how she behaves to her client when we point out the mistakes made in their work.
The payment was hold due to her unsatisfactory work.
Mean time she went around and told our mutual friends about not paying the balance amount but she didnt say what really had happened.
So how can i pay 20K for a saree that haven’t met a minimum satisfaction level?
And 10K is the price fixed from my side after bearing all these difficulties, humiliation and unprofessional behavior from her side.
I’m posting few pictures so everyone can see it. Will never recommend someone to customize from them. If you want your money's worth, never go towards them. They are a big scamers!

I got my bridal saree designed by Amraya. I'm grateful for the beautifully-crafted saree for which I got so many compliments. The designers are well-informed about the changing trends in clothing and fashion.

I met Aksa through one of my cousin from australia when i was one of the bridesmaids for her wedding. We did out bridesmaid dress amarya and aksa is a great person to go to for ideas when it comes customizing our dresses. After my bridesmaid dress i have done Saree’s, kurthas and a crop top and a skirt, everything came out good and it was picture perfect! It was such a great experience to work with Aksa and i highly recommend her. Great customer service and budget friendly. Amraya is my fav go to when it comes for designing and customizing!

I had placed the order online. I found the owner/ person I contacted through in WhatsApp really rude. I was not comfortable sharing my requirements when she shared the images of the product while it was being worked on. However I was happy with the final product. But considering their attitude and way of dealing with customers, would not recommend this place to anyone.
