I had a knee discomfort and pain and was undergoing treatment. As I was in India and heard about Ayuvedic therapies, I decided to try it to speed up the recovery.
Dr. Varsha recommended a 3-days treatment in order to experience the effect.
I was assigned a personal Ayurveda therapist, Nijeesh.
He did an excellent job. My knee felt good that I continued for a week along with other types of Ayurveda treatment. I felt like a new person leaving Fort Kochi with the pain gone.

Excellent Ayurveda treatments. I had a knee issue - it’s tight, had some discomfort and slight pain.
I was looking for Dr. Vijesh but he was overseas as an Ayurveda consultant.
His counterpart, Dr. Varsha, recommended a course of treatments for at least 3 days to feel the effects.
After 3 days, the knee felt much improved and I felt relaxed that I extended the treatments for a week. The knee issues disappeared after the 5th day.
Nijeesh was assigned as my Ayurveda therapist. He did a great job in treating my knee discomfort. The massages were great that I was able to relax. He was attentive and always mindful enquiring if I felt any pain. It has been a beautiful experience. I wish he could be my personal masseur.
I had Ayurveda treatments and massages before and Ananda Ayurveda stands head and shoulders above them all.
Originally, I was looking for Ayurveda Heritage Center. It was not opened that moment. It was by chance that I saw Ananda Ayurveda Center which is nearby and learned that both are operated by the same Doctors.

I have had 2 truly incredible massage treatments in my life. The first was at the hammam at the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca and the second was here at Ananda Ayurveda. I had a variation of the Miracle of Ananda treatment (2: 45 for Rs. 5500). It started with Abyangam (medicated oil massage) followed by Kizhi, then a medicated scrub. The final part of the treatment was Shirodhara. Najeesh was absolutely wonderful from start to finish, making sure that I was comfortable at all times, adjusting pressures and external environmental factors (such as fan speed and music volume) as requested. I have some difficulty with massages due to various medical issues but Najeesh was very sensitive to those issues. His help in bathing me afterwards was a wonderful way to end this fantastic experience. Such a gentle, caring man with excellent massage skills. This was the highlight of my trip to Kochi and exactly what I came here for.

I went for a 90 min massage and a back exfoliation. It was the best experience I’ve had so far! Everyone that works there was so nice and professional. Therapist did an amazing job and I feel reborn. If you haven’t yet definitely go treat yourself! I’ll be returning!

Ananda Institute is clean and warm. The massage rooms are spacious and have a shower. The reception is benevolent. We feel comfortable and relaxed.
I experienced Abyangam massage at Ananda Institute from the first day of a 48 hour stay in Fort Kochi.
Being a VATA type person, I benefited from a slow, enveloping, regular, rooting massage, in a reassuring and comfortable environment with generous use of a warm and nourishing oil which helps to pacify. This massage brought me, among other things, serenity and fullness, muscle relaxation, softening of the spine, toning of the skin. This oil massage was a gift of benevolence that reinforced self-confidence and serenity.
The massage can end with a traditional bucket shower in hot water, with the help of the masseur: it's a real moment of happiness. I had never experimented. A great moment.
At the end of the massage, the feeling of well-being was such that I managed to plan a second massage before my departure.

I would like to thank this cute little place for going beyond the regular customer experience.
I had an incident where I forgot my watch in the massage center that was 30 kms away from my hotel.
It was around 22 pm when I realized that I forgot it, and my flight was 7 am next morning, I called the center to ask about the watch they answered the call to confirm that they had the watch but they were out of the center at that time of the night.
A kind person went back to the center picked up my watch and sent it to me with an Uber driver.
I would like to thank you for that and I really appreciate your effort.

Firstly, probably the most humble & skilled therapists, especially Vijay who was extremely professional. He understood your my and explained very well. They are not fixated on time limits and try to give a genuine therapy. Added bonus was that it was super hygienic & clean. I would recommend it further.

Amazing Ayurvedic week in Fort Kochi!

I spent a wonderful time with these two Ayurvedic doctors. Both are really professional and skilled, chosing exactly which treatment I needed. Massages and other treatments really relieved me from stress and other health issues I had.
Moreover, I felt like at home here. Local and tasty food for breakfast lunch and diner, confortable and quiet room, and my host were happy to share their culture and way of life with me.
I would recommend it 100%!
