Anns Bakery And Confectionery

A great bakery famous for its signature cakes. Tried their butter cake and plum cake which were delicious. Their swiss rolls are also worth mentioning. The bakery is without much interior decoration, but the products speaks for the brand. The staff members are very cooperative and courteous. The price is slightly on the higher side, but the quality is worth the price. They also sells their own brand of curry powders. Wishing them all the best!

Tried red velvet and Spanish delight cake.

Red velvet white chocolate cream wasn't that great. But the red velvet cake sponge was good.
Spanish delight was really nice.
Bit pricey for a normal cake. Otherwise it's good.

Try the Rs 300 Rumberry Cake. The best Confectionery in Kottayam. All items gets sold out fast. Parking in front of the shop.

They have several signature items including a celebration rum and raisin cake, snowball cookies with nuts baked into it, milk halwa, marble chocolate swiss roll etc.

I happen to buy fish sandwiches from Ann's which used to very tasty few years back i got a chance to visit Ann's yesterday and it was just horrible and very much overpriced they charge 45rs for one sandwich which is not worth the price, their carrot date cake used to be my favourite and it has also lost its charm.

It is a decent place but I'm not sure about the hype. Had ela ada and their premium wheat plum cake, among other things. They were okay, not much to write home about.

I have been to many Ann's outlets. But this place has the worst customers experience. They discourage you to buy items further

One of the best bakery I have experienced, being in kottayam for a longer period this automatically becomes ones favourite.

The double choclate marble cake is out of the world. So are the snowblass and cookies.all are A little expensive but very tasty

Snacks are really good, but bit on the pricey side, for the quantity it's a big price. Sweets especially eclair, cream bun, they're too much sweet, that we've to wipe off the cream filling from inside. They could consider making it less sweet.

Ann's was once upon a time the best bakery offering a variety of baked goods, sweets and savouries which were of top notch quality and taste. I guess it's this name that drags the crowd but now we end up being disappointed. The pricing was reasonable then. But now all is lost, it is no more the same. The taste, quality and quantity of things have hit a rock bottom. Prices are ridiculously high even higher than bigger bakeries in other cities and there are many more better bakeries in and around Kottayam even smaller than Ann's but selling delicious goods. The Milk halwa was the sole reason we used to go there but slowly that is also loosing it's charm. Their cakes are also not worth the money you pay for, it's really disappointing. Had got a cake for dad's birthday and it was not good in anyway.

Writing this after multiple visits there and being frustrated with not getting good stuff even after paying a premium. Hope Ann's take note of this and try to improve things there.

Quality products! Customer service requires some fine tuning. Parking is the biggest issue here. Unless and until you are used to their products, you are unable to select and choose your purchase. Prices are on a bit higher end when comparing with others around. But. You are paying for quality.

It's worth the money for the quality of food you get served. Must try- meat roll, milk halwa, fish sandwich.
Only con I would mention- is the less parking space.

We ordered (take away) cutlets and meetrolls.both were cold almost felt like frozen (we ate it in our car parked outside Ann's.hardly 2 minutes after packing) and didn't even met the standards of the brand.very much disappointed

Use to the be top place once. Overrated and overpriced. There are other places that offer better items for better price now. Staff has too much attitude, would be great if they could be trained better to deal with customers. They're not giving anything for free and customers are paying, so teach them to show some respect! Used to love their halwa but not upto the mark now. Their tea items are not great. Tart has lost its glory.

There rumberry cake is one of a kind. There is a standard for all the food available here. Chicken/meat/vegetable pan rolls are must try. If you like fish sandwich, then try there fish sandwich. There pastries taste yum, even though they don't look great.

Quality of the bakery items are really good. They are fresh and healthy. But the price of items are slightly higher and I just feel that the quantity is too less for the price.

Ann's is a trusted brand in this business. What they provide is tasty and above all fresh. Tried their 'Snowball' and I must say it's in my list of guilty pleasures. Their sandwiches are another thing to die for. Another feather in their cap is the courteous staff.

Good place for cakes and baked items. They used to have Ann's Upuma mix ready for cook which was great, not sure if they have it now.

Anns is supposed to be one of the best and that is why I chose to get few snacks for a function last week. I appreciate your quality in terms of taste, but I am really concerned about the hygiene aspect.

When I went to place my order at the Kanjikuzhy Anns, there was a fly inside the place where they keep all food stuffs which is not acceptable. Even though I brought that to their notice, they did not actually get the fly out. In spite of that, I placed my order with Anns. On the day of the function, I took the boxes. The box was too big and so it looked like there is nothing in the box (it would be good if you can have smaller boxes too and provide boxes that are appropriate for the items we order). We just checked one box on our way to the function and there was hair on the puffs which is not at all acceptable. I had asked for cashews to be placed in the box and they had put it in a plastic cover and sealed, but the seal was so unprofessional.the sealing was done with candle and sides were all burnt and black which is definitely not appealing.

This is not the kind of service we expect from Anns. We pay comparatively higher cost for the food provided which is fine given the taste aspect, but when it comes to food, cleanliness is very very important and I would request the concerned people to please take care of this aspect too.

The only place which I love grab their special cakes and traditional items which were once part of our grandmother's kitchen.

I recommend this place to anyone who love cakes and other traditional snacks.

Yum and delicious delicacies made and sold by professionals. Can't go wrong with choosing Ann's. Both Western and naadan treats available.
