Aquatic Island by POPPYS - Kochi

The rooms are being renovated, changes has to be done. The resort pics which you see in site. Don't expect that much. Food rate is so expensive and an Average taste. Very scary to walk in all walkway bridges. It has to renovated soon to avoid a collapse. Ambience was so nice and so much activities. No WIFI in rooms. That is a big disappointment.

The road to this place from the main road is very bad. And bridges inside hotel premises require a lot of maintenance

The resort idea is good. Bedrooms in underwater, but other area above the water. The only problem is backwater smell. Pool is good but no baby pool. Lot of activities in resort. Indoor activity room is good but no AC. Staffs are good and helpful. Restaurent is also good.

Very pathetic staycation place for family and couples, first of all the entrance is like mud racing track actually after my check out I first went to car wash. I expected a lot in food but that also disappointed me. Only thing nice there is location and view.

Worst experience. Food was horrable we have even got finger ring of cook. Upkeep is pathetic promotor also forgot about the property he built. Also after 10 pm none of the house keeping staff is there to give tea bag.only one staff for whole resort.

Not up to the mark. Photos listed and real are too different.property not maintained properly.

Unfortunately, my experience at this resort was less than satisfying. While the ambience of the property was nice and the view was impressive, the overall experience was hindered by several factors.

Firstly the behavior of the receptionist was unprofessional and disappointing. I was left feeling frustrated by their lack of understanding and assistance during my stay. Additionally, the maintenance of the resort was below standard with several areas looking worn and in need of repair.

As someone who enjoys fishing I was disappointed to find that there was no fish curry available for lunch despite the resort advertising itself as a water resort with fishing activities. Moreover there was a lack of proper guidance for guests wanting to take part in the available activities.

Although the resort had a decent selection of food available I found the quality to be below average which further detracted from my overall experience.

Despite the beautiful views the lack of attention to important details made our day out at this resort unforgettable for all the wrong reasons.

It was a wonderful experience in the resort. The beautiful climate gives you the prettiest vibe in kochi. A must visit location in kochi.

My first look of this resort was normal kind of resort but get inside that resort that was one of my best ever. Very good and peacefull ambiance. In the room also very good. Reception, Housekeeping, Food all are good. Expence is worth for us. I like it very much and i will come back again

I had the pleasure of staying there with my friends. The ambience also unbeatable and the best time for exploring the property is evening! The natural golden glow enhance the serenity of the resort. But the primary concern revolved around the safety of wooden bridges leading to the floating cottages. They were delicate and unstable, rendering the resort unsuitable for children due to the potential risks involved.

Loved the floating rooms and activities there. Thanks aquatic for mind-blowing cheatta's out there. Joseph ettan and Ravi anna were like our friends more than a staff. Must hang out:)

We checked out what are possibilities and saw the rooms. We didnt stay. You can come with a group for a day package too. Rooms are lovely, people friendly. Lots of things to do on the water. Lovely place!

Good and Awesome property but poor staff management. Location is nice. I had issue with getting water in Toilet but sorted after long time. Ideal place for family and friends together. Compare online prices in leading travel sites before booking. Amble space for car parking and kids activities.

It was an amazing experience. I wondered about its features, a resort id fully constructed on water. And those who want to enjoy the nature and adventure and honeymmon in a single resort, the answer is Aquatic Island resort. Its located on kumbalangi, a fully greenery island village. So we can explore the lake and nature. This place also enriched with its flora and fauna. Poppys Aquatic Island is entirely different from their other properties. So it will give be a crown on Poppy's group of hotels.

Truly a retreat walled by the scenic backwaters in the gorgeous village called Kumbalangi in Kerala. The resort has a cluster of luxurious floating rooms and has a lot of entertaining water activities. Expensive tariffs, but worth it!

Had gone to celebrate our reunion - we have passed almost 35 years ago so one can imagine the age group we are in. Suddenly the electricity went off only in the room our party was on.or was it shut off? They wanted to move us elsewhere to two rooms effectively dividing us. It all seemed too underhand. Would have rather they were straight with us.

4) They don’t serve cold water in restaurant and rooms no Ice cubes

Over priced. It's all floating resort but won't get a real feal of floating rooms. Spa was a great experience. Water activites are really awsome which include kayaking boating water cycles. Do have a very supportive staff (chandrappan cheattan and vivek). Also the pool is not very frequently cleaned also pool size is small.

Okay for one day outing. Their buffet lunch is very waste. The same will available in less than Rs: 300 from outside. The staff should visit other resorts to study how to serve a food in better way. Amenities are great and good kids play area

It was worst and horrible experience, we visited with family last week same day we vacated to other hotel because of lot of mosquito’s and un clean it is not like the picture shown in website, please do not go and waste money.

This place is very suitable for honeymoon. I had visited this place on 2016 and stayed two nights. They have been maintaining in a proper way and the food was too tasty.
We will get privacy there, and the service is also excellent and so many amenities are available

One of the finest resort I've ever visited. Resort filled with natural scenic beauty. The service provided is up to the mark maintaining proper customer relationship. Cheers to Aquatic Island resort and Poppys.

Nice place for a group stay. Dont think its toddler friendly as there is water every were. You cant be careful all time. Good water sports

A floating hotel, but needs maintaince, staff is very courteous, I enjoyed the fish snacks that I had ordered but felt the lunch could have been better. Ideal for overnight stays

Good place, nice food and good boating options to have fun. Surrounding are well maintained. Pool is small but could be maintained better. Evening is a better option to visit if you want to enjoy the surroundings. Approach road could be made wide to allow 2 vehicle to pass in opposite direction.

Awesome lake resort. Water sports, spa, swimming pool, star food court, boating, floating rooms to stay. Costly but beautiful place.

If you are looking for a quite place off the tourist crowd, then this is place. Located in a scenic location with good food and friendly staff!

It's a beautiful place, serene, private and beautifully spread out. Go for it if it's a holiday you are on, ditch of you are visiting Kochi on work - very far from city centre and other needs.
