Only the location is a plus other than that rooms are very small and everything in the rooms are either broken or repaired. Doors, curtains, raps, faucet, fans, beds are all poorly maintained. There was no hot water and AC too in our room. For the price of 4.5K you can get opt for Krishna Beach Resort.

The kids had great time playing in the pool and photoshoot in the lawn. The Captain and team are accommodative, friendly and extend help to all miles. Wonderful dining (Kerala spl food and yellai appam) near property. Slightly over charged but everything else is guaranteed

Great location and rooms. It also has a lawn and a small swimming pool. The restaurant serves only on pre-order but the food quality and quantity served both are great.

Where this place lacks is the service part and the inexperienced management. For example, the blanket provided is without cover, so you'll be using someone else's used and solied blanket. Even a hotel that charges 1500 Rs per night provides a covered blanket. The phone provided in the room wasn't working. However, to be fair they were reachable on mobile. The reception is only from 10-6. Anything odd needs to be worked out over the phone well in advance. For example, I checked out early and couldn't get any invoice from the hotel for food and stay.
There are many small things that you feel doesn't make it worth the cost.

The other problem is with the resort tag. Except for the swimming pool, there are no other facilities to justify this as a resort. Even some large hotels have pools but they don't call themselves resorts. Upon enquiry, I found out that it used to have a children's play area but it was removed as their swing and slides were rusted so basically there's nothing to do for kids.

In short, while the stay is good the price charged is not at all justifiable. You get charged for a 5 star hotel and stay in a 3 star one.

Excellent hospitality! Simple and nice property, felt homely.

Always smiling and accommodating support staff. Property is right on the beach with easy access. With good eateries around the property, we didn't miss the lack of full fledge restaurant.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable, there is nothing in particular we missed during our stay. Though the breakfast options / spread was limited, it was tasty, fresh juice was awesome.

Madam Rinku, MD of Asokam visited and greeted all the guests along with a nice cake on Christmas, a very nice gesture.

Kudos to the ever smiling staff. You guys made our stay memorable. Thanks.

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay near seashore, food is delicious, rooms are good and clean.

Only redeeming feature is its on the beach nothing else to speak about.and very costly room.not worth the money you pay

Excellent stay, great people with pleasant service. This was our first time experiencing resort stay and we enjoyed the ambiance to the core! Mr. Radhakrishnan and his fellow mates took very good care of all our needs. The kitchen service was the best and safety is their priority. Overall we enjoyed every bit of our stay.

One of the beautiful and best resort in Kannur. Manage - Radhakrishnan uncle is very sweet and kind. Being an Ex Army person, he has kept the entire resort in very good condition.
Rooms are good and clean.
We enjoyed Kerala cuisines.

No exhaust fans in bathroom
No proper hot water
Broken lights and fans
Only malayalam channels on TV

Overall experience was good and Dhanesh deserves 5+ star for his hospitality

Worst experience ever, too costly and the service was at the worst I won't recommend any one to go there. Even the staffs working there told me that I'll get good rooms for reasonable rate and good service nearby.the person in the reception worst employee ever.

The place is great located at a convenient location very close to one of the beaches in kannur.
The hospitality and service is top notch. Loved everything about here. The owners and staff are very nice and accommodating.
The view is beautiful too:)

By stay was fantastic. Here are a few pros and corns

Pros:
- Excellent rooms (excellent sea view if you are taking the rooms at 1st floor)
- Service is superb (we requested for dinner at 9 pm and they agreed and prepared delicious dinner for us)
- Staff at hotel is friendly and will cross tye limits to keep their guests happy
- Road outside the resort connects to the beach
Pool: Small yet beautiful pool (we didn't enjoy though due to rain)

Corns:
- Restaurant: you don't have a dedicated restaurant at the resort. You need to place order and the resort staff will prepare it
- Cant access Sea: Though the sea is just outside the resort, you cant access it. You may have to walk a little towards right to access the sea

A well maintained resort just opposite to the sea. Awesome view! People are very nice. Food is superb. Pool is clean and we enjoyed a lot. Walking distance to Payyambalam beach. Watching sunset was a mesmerizing experience. Thanks to the Asokam people for their hospitality.

Location and maintenance are nice, staffs are awesome, breakfast buffet can improve, main disadvantage is you can’t use the beach exactly opposite to the hotel shown in photo, you have to go half kilometres from hotel, may be that’s not an big issue

Very beautiful beach resort. Booked it for my school mates. They enjoyed the location (beach front), hospitality, breakfast and the rooms. The care taker is just awesome, he gave us the best experience with his hospitality. It is very rare to find someone like him. It is known and famous for its ayurvedic massage as well but my friends did not enjoy it much as other ayurvedic massage centres, it was very simple massage and very short than the time mentioned in thier menu. It needs improvement. Otherwise as a resort it is wonderful.

Asokam beach resort is located at a beautiful place facing the sea. We'll maintained, neat & clean resort. Very positive staff. Recommended for hosting marriage functions including receptions.

Real good resort in Kannur.the modern yet traditional rooms are fully equipped with everything you need, the ayurvedic treatment provided is just the right way to please someone's mind and body, the food is just great so is the care given by the staffs. Considering all these requirements the cost is just too reasonable and we had a very good time at ASOKAM beach resort.

Truly first class service at Asokam Beach restor. I have stayed in hotels around the world and can only say that the staff, owners and Ayurvedic therapists did everything they could to make my stay incredible. Food was excellent, rooms were spotless, ayurvedic treatments were highly recommended. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

Nice ambience, customer friendly, peaceful and comfortable, definitely a choice for second visit.

First time I by go it's very clean in oktober than I have make the same trip again in November but this time pool it's very dirty and animals live in the wather. But when you can swimming wath you will in the pool you can go in the ocean. Rooms it's very nice clean and comfortable breakfast its delicious. News on the hotel look better for the pool nextime before I booking I ask pool clean or not.

I had stayed with family for 2 days, it's decent place to stay, staff is good and well mannered, but it's on little expensive side considering not much amenties available in resort. Few points i'll highlight, like door clasp from inside are not working, i stayed in room 402 and one of the clasp wasn't working, no hair drier available in washroom which is very basic nowadays. Not much varities on offer on breakfast, basically it's fixed menu, which could have been better and staff can provide some more options in breakfast, one Plus point i would like to add and appreciate resort staff for that they provided on demand food and milk for infants.

I am one of the 9 member pax which u have mentioned.please analyse Ur footage once again, No doubt the place was clean but the way guests r treated in not acceptable.we never complained of not serving food at room, that was just a request.but Ur staff were very rude and served us stale food.our person just asked Ur staff to behave decently which they denied by raising their voice.please encourage Ur staff towards good hospitality
