Excellent experience at Aster MIMS. The staff and the doctors were all very helpful and listened to patient history very well and gave me proper diagnosis.

My wife was admitted to mims a year ago due to a miscarriage in 2022. That time we received good care and positive feeling from everyone. But this time we came from Ernakulam to consult Mims.
Before starting the consultation at Mims we inquired about the maternity supply package. Although the package is more than double compared to Almas. We came to Mims because of our previous experience.
Now coming to the point the doctor was very good in everything, very thankful to Sajna madam.
But this time the facilities are very bad. It took a long time to get the room but got it in the evening and was admitted in the morning.
Earlier they provided basic things like towel, brush and soap to the patients but this time they did not give anything to the patient.
The food was very bad for the patient and sometimes it was very cold.
Nursing services are OK but are delayed due to lack of nurse resources.
Coming to the main part inside the labor room, the wife said that the service was very poor as the number of nurses was less. Right before our baby arrived, no one was with her
All of them were with another patient and the doctor scolded all the nurses for this. Kunjinte heart rate decreased by 2 times.
I have had a bad experience with the billing team. We were discharged at 11: 30 am. But due to internal issue in billing it was delayed till 8: 30 pm. The insurance team was in the office only till 6 but till 5: 15 pm the insurance team was not billed. I have asked the billing team more than once to provide the bill summary to the insurance team to submit the bill, only then the insurance will accept or pay the full amount from my hand. Every time they say they will give an update but never get a call.
Finally I had to complain to MOD.
I have insurance but why should I pay? It's okay if it's because of the problem from my side. But they agreed that there is no need to pay but just a mark on the paper. But they should have made this decision first before I filed a complaint.
But by 5: 15 in the evening, their problems were resolved and my bill was approved by the insurance team.
But we waited for 35 minutes to take the patient out of the room in a wheel chair after being discharged. For that long she had to stay outside the room. Then the baby started crying to drink milk. It took so long for a staff to come to hold the wheel chair despite being discharged. I had to sit among the rest of the crowd for that long

Positives: Doctors and good facilities
But some shortage with nurse staffs.
Overall good expect some internal bill issues

I have received very good treatment and help from the staff of Orthopedic Department at Aster Mims Kottakal. Everyone is very sympathetic. I am satisfied.
