While surfing the internet, I stumbled upon this website called HELLO AUGUST  (helloaugust.in). It's a pen-shop located in Kerala, India, and has a decent online store for pens and other stuffs. They have a vast collection of stationery, ranging from rare/unique fountain pens to imported desktop accessories. I was initially skeptical as the price is pretty low compared to similar products on other popular e-commerce sites! So, I ordered 2 Indian fountain pens, a sketchbook, and a (German-made) Pelikan fountain pen. I paid a small amount for doorstep courier delivery. Immediately after placing the order, they updated me over WhatsApp and shipped it the next day! The delivery was on time (it reached me within a week), and the packaging was very good.

Overall, my experience was surprisingly satisfying! I must also add that they were very courteous over the WhatsApp communication and ready to help you with your order whenever necessary. Since my first order, I have placed a couple of more orders from this site, and they never disappointed me!

Unfortunately, despite having so many good Fountain pen manufacturers and thousands of pen lovers in India, we don’t have worthy Indian online stores that provide good pens and apt accessories at a reasonable cost! My experience with August has been very smooth and satisfying as their service is very decent and prompt. Being an avid doodler I get my microns and other pens in this store that they have in all range. Their online catalogue is pretty decent, have almost all art n craft supplies available. Well, I am adding this review once again after 9 months. The reason is very special. Today, I requested him to deliver a bunch of rough papers sheets at my address in Maharashtra as the website was showing that the order is not deliverable at my town. After a few minutes he replied and his reply once again introduced me about his kindness towards his customer and how he treats and advise his customer so that the order should not costs so much. He sent me a voice note on whatsapp explaining why the delivery is not available, because the price has gone up and that's why at that price I can get some fair quality papers, he told me. I'm here, sitting on a chair in a small town of Maharashtra, we have never met face to face but he cares for you so that your hard earned money should not be wasted. This type of incident is rare in this materialistic world where everyone is running behind money and luxury.
