Avees Puttu House

I used to be a regular customer here. But during the past few visits I have observed their food quality being low and recently my stomach became upset after having meals from here.

Late service, ordered meals but had to wait for food and even for 2nd helping had to go in search of waiter. Lot of people had the same experience.

I ordered chicken fry.it cost me around 300 rs and what I got was 3 very small chicken pieces. It was very much disappointing. I ordered it on zomato.in which the rate was 265 with delivery charge rate was 305rs

Was a convenient stop near Thiruvalla for breakfast. Was tough to find a table, but they had a waiting area. Food was served in reasonable time. The tea was good, though I really didn't find the puttu that great. It was okayish at best, had lost a bit of steam. They should try to serve warm stuff, and there maybe a chance that crowd management is affecting their efforts towards that factor. Parking is limited and hence therefore a tough act to pull off. They also have a lot of food products (dough and batter) sales over the counter.

Everything good except the guest management need a better plan for managing the guests in queue. Got limited options for my choices. Yes they had varieties of putt

Located Thiruvalla Changanassery road. (Perumthurutthy place name) Very good service, clean and hygienic place, good atmosphere. Tasty food specially Appam Egg curry. Large parking area.

Pretty decent place for casual eating. Their fish curry meals are good. The anchovy fry is good.

Nice restaurant on kottayam changnacherry route. Their fish curry was awesome. Appam also was too good.

We were a party of 10 and came here looking forward to eating here. We now know that we should not come again. The duck was tough and definitely not worth the wait. The food took about 50 minutes to come. After waiting about 40 minutes for the tea and coffee, one would expect something drinkable and not bilge water. Do not waste your time and money in this restaurant.

Worst place to go for family outing. This place may only suit better for Idli, dosa and Puttu and nothing else.

Their chembu puttipodi is the best. I buy 5kg packet whenever I pass through avees pulinkunnu in AC road

Had dinner from Avees. Nice place with ample parking and very decent service. The food also was tasty and priced appropriately. The teade mark Puttu was superb with combination of beef and chicken

Duck roast is very good in taste. But the quantity of pieces is less. Hope it should be aligned with the cost.

Average place. Appam is good. Duck roast is OK but not worth the price of Rs. 285. Two small pieces only for that price.overall not a value for money option.

The restaurant is clean and food are tasty. Staff are pleasing and good. Waiting time is very high at normal crowd.

The parcelling quality is very bad. Using plastic covers to pack dishes. It's difficult to open them and take out dishes. Packing quality shall be improved to match the standard of restaurant and pricing. Disposable spoons shoud be provided with parcels.

Best place for those who have enough time and perefer dine in.

The place is good enough but we were not offered much variety in food. However the food that we got was well prepared and had right texture and amazing taste. Try porotta and beef, that is good

I hate to put this review but my bad experience had forced me to. On a Monday evening in mid September 2021, I ordered a to pick karimeen masala and duck roast. Not only it was super pricey, it resulted in my elderly dad being hospitalized for 3 days and a 20k hospital bill. The fish (which was not fresh) and the gravy upset my dad’s stomach coupled with the fact that he had other health conditions. I am sure the management recognizes this fact and improves so that they can acquire our family’s belief in your food.

Food tastes above average, nothing great. But the brand still pulls the crowd.

Avees has a restaurant and sales out let here. Sales outlet have many traditional snack items and ready to cook items. Slightly expensive but very tasty.

Best spot for breakfast. They serve hot delicious food. I personally loved their idiappam, appam, and wide variety of puttu.

Came to this place twice recently, did not feel welcomed at all. The ambience is very dull. The staff are not trained or I don't know what the problem is, they don't seem to be eager to serve their customers. The service, from taking our order, to placing the utensils, to the preparation time of the food are all poor.

The staff don't seem friendly, dint want to smile and we felt very unwelcomed on both occasions. The food was alright, nothing exceptional. But the restaurant service lacks the bare minimum quality.

I am not sure if this issue will ever be fixed, but I do not intend to return to this "restaurant".

Very very poor and slow service, not friendly staffs not at all recommended. If u want food for lunch then better order in the breakfast otherwise you will lose your hunger. We had ordered palappam duck roast and vegetable khorma taste wise it is satisfactory but quantity wise according to the rate of items it is not at all recommended. Overall a bad experience. Will never visit this place again even hungry for two days and no other restaurants open in the area.

Good range of puttu, dosa, appam and patthiri podis. But their restaurant menu needs a serious upgrade!

Avees Puttu House Thiruvalla is one of the best restaurants in Tvla.
Ambience and Service provided is great.
Food Quality is also great.
Pricing is affordable.

We had breakfast at around 10.30am. Not much options for breakfast, we ordered appam and chicken stew. Both were of average taste. Decent ambience

Good is excellent. They should keep someone to open and close the main door, to avoid everyone from touching it.

Chicken curry is good and i got the opportunity to try the 18rs idli sized porotta.next time please use smthng circle shaped for cutting a small sized one.for the price of 18rs it's not worthy.

Quite a nice place to eat as well as for takeaway. Bit pricey, but worth it as they make sure the food is good. They have a limited menu but they make it good. I love the fact that they even let us customize dishes we order. Their appam and dosa batter is also available which is higher priced than other brands but there is a reason for that, consistent taste and quality as well. They also have some variety dishes of duck which they promote as well. Its good to go as groups as well. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes are absolutely decent. They have got parking right in the front for almost 7-8 vehicles. Cleanliness is good and there are clean enough loos for men and women as well. Btw they also have a tiny TV which shows whether your order is ready or not.

Had the palappam and beef roast. It was really fluffy and tasty. Raw palappam mix, puttu podi also available in the restaurant.

Spacious restaurant with nice ambience and moderate parking space. Food was just good and the servings was too less compared to the cost. Service is also average.

Good ambience. They offer authentic kerala style dishes, especially from the Kottayam & Kuttanadu regions. Fried Duck, Beef Roast, Appam & Puttu are some of the must try items.
If visiting on a Sunday, do remember to either call and pre-order dishes, otherwise variety may be limited.
Timings reduced to 8: 45PM, owing to COVID restrictions.

Everything is good except unreasonable delay in serving and dont even think of trying their beef items.

Food and ambiance is good and good service too but we have to wait for so long to get food, i faced this issue all the time, but the waiting is worth. Please avoid if you are in hurry or in tight schedule. Need patience to have that good food.

PAvees Puttuhouse keeps maintaining their unique standard in all their branches. Delicious food. Nice ambience. Courteous staff. Situates at a nice location and easily noticeable. Parking is very limited. No wheelchair accessible entrance. KDF (Kuttanadu Duck Fry) is their Special Dish but Rs. 1000 seems a little over priced. Anyway you can suggest this restaurant to your friends.

Good Restaurant. Good food. A good place freshen up/ relax between a long journey. Neat n clean. The restaurant is located by the side of MC Road between Thiruvalla and Chenganassery.

Unnecessary waiting since they don't open the top floor leading to a crowd in the lower floor. Service pathetic almost non existant. Needs a makeover in terms of employees

The food was really good. But it took half an hour to serve the food. We had to wait for so long. The serving should be more faster.
