Avocado Garden Restaurant

If you love traditional stay it's preferred, The ambiance are good, They don't even provide a bathing soap, There's no car parking which is a negative, If you're are group of people wants to spend time together it's recommended. No cold/hot water provided, The blanket and bedsheets are old enough to use and not comfortable, The ceiling fan was full of dust one of my friend got dust allergy she was sneezing all night. Most of the rooms are small and in one of the room a person can barely stand and sit.

It was closed when we visit last time

TOILETS will tell you about the overall Cleanliness of the Owner, Staff, Kitchen, and Food of any Restaurant. We don't' have access to the Kitchen as "NO ADMISSION" but have access to the Toilet. Visit it before giving the order.

Hope this is a good message for the owners to keep the bathrooms clean

It was practically closed when we arrived, but the owner was super lovely and still made us chai and coffee. For lunch she whipped up a delicious Biryani. I would definitely recommend this place. Good food and relaxing garden!

Maybe the worst dinner experience ever. It felt like an episode of Gordon Ramsey, totally absurd. It took almost an hour to get the food and we didn’t even get something to drink. We ordered lemon soda. After 40 minutes we had to ask for the drinks. We choose today’s special, since that was basically what they were cooking, but after waiting so long we expected it to be really good. It was tasteless. We also ordered one each and the staff got provoked when we said that one bowl of sauce didn’t qualify as two.

Wonderful place, the food is generous and delicious. Service is excellent, their are really careful. Thanks for your smile and humanity

This place Avacado with an awesome architecture and painted walls and hanging dream catcher made us to visit this place and we had a wonderful and a pleasant experience staying at Avacado it was like a mini pondicherry in kerala

This place is fantastic. The family who runs it is especially kind. Great ambiance, amazing food, good price. Kind of a courtyard setting. Great place to go with a group, or for a romantic night.

I went for dinner with two friends - had a great time! The restaurant is hidden out the back in a beautiful little garden. There's great art and the food was nice.

A serene place to spend time alone as well as with friends.
The sitting area (hut) is suitable for a big family/ friends get togethers.
The sitting area has a top floor with dim lights where you can enjoy the stary sky with few beers.
All around the restaurant there are beautiful artworks.
The only drawback was that we had to wait for the food but the hosts were very friendly and full of spirit that the we had a lot fun along with them?
There is light music playing at the background making it a overall cozy place to read a book along with a cup of coffee.
I would recommend the place only if you really want to enjoy the ambiance of the place you are planning to have food and the company of the people who are serving you?

Great garden restaurant, very pretty with lots of fairy lights. The usual chef was away but the owner's wife cooked some delicious vegetarian local food for us as requested.

Location: hardly 1.5 km from beach
Stay: cozy and clean rooms
Ambience: peaceful music, beautiful outdoor and rooftop seating arrangements with lights and Dreamcatcher
Food: a nice resto-cafe with authentic Kerala food. Tasty non-veg dishes.
Staff and service: though service was little delayed, but the ambience and staff around will never let you feel that
* As a solo traveler would recommend other solo travelers this place as the host and staff are really friendly and warming.
* Only such restaurant i found in my 5days of trip in kerala

It's located near to buzzling Zachriya Bazar Street, once you go inside property is so silent, Owner cheff and assistant is so pleasing, tiled roof and terracotta floor keeps property cool

It's one of the worst restaurants ever seen in my life.
They won't refund the money back for cancellation of room try to avoid it.

Worst experience first time in kerala by avocado, avocado earning money not by good service, only using other way like getting advance bookings, if we not visit their they will not repay it, be careful.

It is a great place to chill.great ambience and food.the staff are also very cooperative and fun loving.we had celebrated our friend's bridal shower there, the staff had extended full support in terms of setting up the ambience to next level, only thing I would suggest is place your order asap once you reach the restaurant, cozz it takes good 30-40 mins for the food to be prepared, so once the order is placed then get soaked in the ambience so you can enjoy both the food and place on the best way possible.

Poor service, average drinks however most of the options on the menu were not available. Can't recommend this place.

One of worst Resort i ever met in my Life.
They asked advance to confirm the Boat and Room. We paid Rs ×××× on Aug 2018. Due to kerala flood they have cancelled the trip. Now they are refusing to refund the money. We have tried to contact them more than 30 times till now. Totally frustrated with staff behaviour who is responding to customer. This is totally loss. One of the under rated resort. Before planning to this, think twice and act especially while paying advance to the resort.

One of the worst ever experience we ever met.as their request to confirm the resort we send them an advance of RS. 5000. Due to the time of flood we can't go their and they told us to come on the day when you guys are okay with our flexible dates.and now they are refusing to repay our money and not giving response towards our call. We have tried to contact them n number of times but still they are not properly responding. And they are harshly responding that you guys can do whatever you want.

So you guys when you planned to go there think n times and don't pay any of the advance amount without any proper assurance from them.

Detached place right in the heart of the city, their indoor garden sets this soothing vibe which only compliments in their iconic Kerala parotta.

THE AMBIENCE IS ALL GOOD AND MUCH WARMING BUT THE FOOD, ITS NOT GOOD.
THEY PREFER PEOPLE WHO ARE STAYING THERE, IT SHOULD NOT BE A RECOMMENDED AS A RESTAURANT/CAFE. ALL THE ITEMS ON THE MENU ARE NOT AVAILABLE, AND THE PRICE IS WAY HIGH CONSIDERING THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD.
