Amazing place for Ayurvedic treatments and massages! Very cool warm atmosphere and insanely kind and friendly staff, great prices for such a quality of treatment, the location of the clinic is also very pleasing, a couple of minutes and you are already walking by the ocean. I recommend everyone to go here for Ayurveda!

I went to Varkala primarily to do a panchakarma as I had broken my ankle the year before and it was still causing a lot of pain and I had gained a lot of weight from not being able to exercise. I actually had chosen an alternative panchakarma centre but after 10 days I was not happy with the service, treatments or food being offered there.
I was recommended to have a consultation with the Ayurvedic doctor at Ayushi Ayurveda Centre and as soon as I met the doctor there I knew I wanted to complete my program there. I had already completed 10 days with the other centre, so I arranged to have a further 10 days at Ayushi. Doctor Diviya is such a warm, kind, knowledgeable, experienced Ayurvedic doctor and she advised me on which treatments to have to properly detox my body and to help to loose weight and she also suggested an amazing treatment especially to help my swollen ankle with healing the ligaments. She also went through my doshas and advised what food would be beneficial for me and which foods I should be cutting out from my diet. The food was very good, simple satwick/Ayurvedic food especially prepared and cooked by the cook, and it was prepared exactly for my dosa (kapha/pita). And Zubin the owner would always be explaining the ingredients and sending me the links of certain vegetables I was eating to know and understand the benefits of them.
The treatments and therapies were of very high standard. The senior therapist working there has years of experience and puts 100% of her energy into every treatment she gives. The treatment room is very clean and kept well. All the Ayurvedic oils used are of high quality.
I completed my 10 days but decided to get full benefits so I extended my treatments for another 4 days, as I was loosing weight and my ankle with the treatment being used daily, seemed to be helping a lot.
I did not stay at their accommodation as I had already pre-booked an alternative guest house but I do recommend if you’re doing the panchakarma treatments to stay there as the rooms are very nice and spacious with a lovely garden to relax. You can also just go to the centre to have daily Ayurvedic treatments without doing the actual panchakarma.
Zubin and Sunil the owners, are both lovely helpful guys and will ensure your time and experience at their centre is an enjoyable one. I highly recommend this centre for your time spent in beautiful Varkala.

I got an amazing massage by a lovely female therapist that left me like new. Moreover, the clinic is fully equipped and I had the opportunity to had a warm bath to remove all the oil before leaving the place (I really appreciated that).

I came to Ayushi’s clinic by accident, “for company, ” along with a group traveling from Delhi-Varanasi to Varkala. Dr. Divya conducted an initial examination and survey and determined my Dosh type, prescribed physiotherapy in the form of 4 types of different massages, one of which is shirodara, this is when oil pours into the area of ​​the third eye. I liked all the procedures, my massage therapist was Udayan, who is fluent in his craft. Doctor Divya is very pleasant, attentive, friendly, knows her business perfectly. The clinic is equipped with all the necessary equipment. After the procedures, you have the opportunity to take a shower, they provide toiletries and a towel. In addition, I purchased a set of Ayurvedic dietary supplements, as prescribed by doctor Divya. Thanks to the clinic staff!
Perhaps I will come back here. I also liked the hotel where we stayed - Dalia. The hotel always has drinking water, during the day you can ask the kitchen staff for hot water for tea or coffee, you can also use the refrigerator in the kitchen. The rooms have air conditioning and a fan. Comfortable bed. Spacious rooms. We were fed delicious breakfasts.
There is also a shower and a tap for washing your feet in the hotel courtyard. You can take a rest without going into the room
The hotel is located in a cozy place, not far from the ocean. Also not far from the hotel there is the opportunity to buy fruits, household items, and dairy products.
The hotel staff is polite and attentive.

I have been interested in Ayurveda for a long time, but I have never undergone treatment in a real Ayurvedic clinic, and even in the very heart of Ayurveda, Kerala. The clinic is located in Varkala, it is small, very cozy and atmospheric, and the most sincere people work there, great professionals, very kind, sympathetic and bright. Dr. Divya conducted an initial examination, asked me very carefully about my health, and eventually gave out the ratio of my doshas at birth and now, explained where the imbalance was and prescribed procedures. They did abhyanga, podikizhi, shirodara, kativasti. The procedures are daily, all very hot, the sensations are cosmic) on the last day a miracle happened (in India there are no miracles) - I ended up with master Udayan. I didn't think there were such strong hands. I had 2 problems with one leg, one of which was a pinched nerve somewhere in my back, doctors in St. Petersburg said that if it didn’t go away, I had to have surgery. I suffered for several months, Udayan removed this clamp in one massage, and now I am happy and only regret that there was not enough time and, of course, I plan to return to Varkala.
In general, this clinic is very traditional, it seems to me that even the walls are therapeutic, although there is absolutely no feeling of a hospital, perhaps also because there is a jungle around and everything is very exotic.

This is my first time at an Ayurvedic center. In consultation with the doctor, my dosha ratio was determined and health recommendations were given to me. The attentive guide translated and gave additional recommendations. Then I received treatment for the procedures. I was given a massage with warm oil and bags. At the end of the procedure, my body relaxed completely, I was already half asleep. A place worth coming to for nature, location, such a rich history and people. The owner of the center, Zubin, met us himself, the doctor, Divya is such a nice, soft, attentive woman, the therapists Jamina, I felt like I was with my family) we checked into a hotel nearby in a double room, a wonderful host, he prepared breakfast for his guests, there were omelettes, flatbreads, coffee, masala tea, fruits, bananas and watermelons and toast with butter and all in one go) the way to the guest’s heart is through the stomach) I thank this hotel and their helpful staff!)

My wife and I just finished an eight-day course at the Ayushi retreat. We were both very happy with the quality of the treatments and the care we received. We both felt healthier, calmer and more energetic at the end of our stay.

Excellent Ayurvedic cleansing Programme

I spent few weeks in this beautiful place. The service was outstanding, from my first contact with Ayushi throughout my visit. The daily treatments and consulting with the doctor at the Ayurvedic Center was very professional. The yoga and meditation classes were a good oppotunity to more wellbeing and something I will continue with. All of the staff was very eager to do the best of my visit. I also appreciated the clean facilities. If you are considering to go on an Ayurvedic trip I highly recomend Ayushi.

I had a wonderful experience while doing a weeks body cleansing programme with additional massage for my backpain. I was on a short vacation from my work. Now I feel much relieved from the backpain I was having for years as a part of my hectic work schedule. Looking forward for another programme on my next visit.
