Wide range of breads, biscuits, pastries and such items. Quality is good. Staff opens the door and generally appear courteous. There's no warmth in the service element. The billing executive or whosoever.appears very unhappy and respond very coldly. Do visit for the stuff they have. Don't worry about the environment.
Large collection of items and finest products. They always maintain the quality as well as packing. One of the best shops you can expect and assure the product availability in any day.
Awesome service and delicious cake. The staff are very cooperative. Large amount of choices present and different premium varieties of cakes especially praline ones were awsome
This bakery is managed by M/s Azad, a family team having great legacy of running Non Veg resturant service in Trivandrum (Kerala) and Nagarcovil (Tamil nadu). Present managerial team may be the third/ fourth generation, since they started their first resturant in the year 1948- 49. They entered Bakery Service, some 10 years back and now inside Trivandrum city they runs 2or 3 outlets. Bread factory, kawdiar is their Bakery unit plus snack bar In my experience, it is one among the good Bakeries of Trivandrum. All types of baked products, kerala snacks, chocolates& sweets, selected kerala foods like idiappam, porotta, kappa& fish curry, ete r available here. Both Travancore & Malabar, Quality & tasty items. All items r displayed, with price tag, so that it is very convenient to select. As they prepare items everyday subject to the demand, almost every items, will become out of stock around 6/7 pm. So in my experience, it is better to visit there, between 10Am&5.30pm. Parking lot is available for 5/6 cars & for about 10 two wheelers, at a time. They runs a small snack bar with a few seats. I suggest Azad management to train staff to improve customer relations. (Most customers will appreciate a smile from ur staff.) All together, a good centre
Talking about Good bakery products, I think of Bread Factory. The muffins and cake varieties here are amazing. I totally love to visit the store for cakes and breads.
One of the top most bakery in Trivandrum. You will get variety of products like bread, rolls, buns, cookies, cakes, ghee cakes, muffins, sweets etc. You can have tasty & very delicious products.worth each penny.
Nothing amazing for outsiders. If you are not a keralite, don't go here. The biriyani and fried rice are their local make called kerala sweet rice. The state is aloof for many reasons and occassions, let the locals enjoy. Others stay away. Anyways, as you know, bread and other bakery items are not good for health.
Spoilt for choice in all things doughy and snacky! Fresh bakery stock and well laid out floor design to make the shopping experience wholesome and satisfying.
A one stop bakery for all your snack needs. You'll get Biriyani and few side dishes if you're here around noon. Almost all snack will be finished around 3-4pm range. Expect a moderate rush almost all the time which do peaks around evening. Though a bit pricey, they don't compromise on quality and food tastes good as well.
Lovely store. They've got lots of yummy goodies and the staff are really helpful too. It's one of my regular stops. My favourites there are: black forest cookies, egg puffs, chicken puffs, cornflakes spicy mixture, dates and honey cake, triple chocolate Banana cake, chocolate tart, expresso cookies, garlic bread, and fish packet.
Yummie and fresh bakery items and tasty dinner packets, they have the best idiyappam and pathiri. Try their kozhi ada snack, not available anywhere else in Trivandrum
It's an ideal bakery. Good display and enough and variety of items. They have a small tea stall and it's good. Parking could be a challenge in peak hours.
Azad Bakery near my house is at kowdiar.heavy traffic, but the traffic warden, a nice lady helped me to cross. I bought some snacks like kinnathappam, ethappazham nirachathu, another new item which has a covering with maida filled with coconut, and jaggery, another one which looked liked egg samosa, but had a filling of half piece of egg and potato masala. All items had a variety taste and staff were also very helpful and very fast in their service.
Ever since the opening, I have been a regular visitor here. One of the best outlets in Trivandrum city for baked items and namkeens. Wide variety of cakes and pastries with different flavours. Dilkush, brownies, mud cake and tarts are worth a try. Limited parking. Adjacent Chai Chai is a good place for tea and snacks. Limited seating.
Its is a good bakery, with a small tea shop and a mini-super market. Bakery items are on-display which we can pick, similar to other Bread Factoory outlets. They have a lot of varieties of items to choose, cakes are yummy and authentic! The small tea shop serve varieties of teas and (not so common) snacks - may be north Kerala snacks.
I can assure you the best bakery products with great quality and value. Priced moderately, quality maintained strictly. This shop is located on Pattom Kowdiar stretch near to Kowdiar side. While coming from Pattom side the shop is on the left side of the road with ample car and two wheeler parking. The security staff shall help you to park as well support the exit from the shop by alerting drivers on the road about your exit. The have a snack shop too with great quality and tasty tea and coffee. The snacks are mostly native snacks which is also of good quality, home made taste and reasonably priced. Should visit this place
It's such a quaint little place. I love the atmosphere and they do have a pretty neat variety of bakery products. I usually go there for bread and I once bought a chicken burger. Not good. It was more like a chicken cutlet that capitalized on potato in the patty. But I'd like the to think other foods must be good and this was the only let down.
Tea shop at Kowdiar is excellent. Tea served is top notch, all the snacks offered are delicious and the place is clean. At the bakery, breads are good and so are the cookies and cakes,
