Backwater Ripples

A beautiful place to stay. The staff is friendly and cooperative. The girl named Deepa at reception is amicable. Would love to stay there again. Many indoor games and activities are arranged in the resort for kids and adults both.

Loved my stay here. Staff is amazing, and the resort is well managed and very clean. Its location is spectacular and has got an infinity pool. They give you a boat ride which is an amazing experience

The place has everything Food, landscapes, pool, boating, houseboats and the most important MASSAGE, it was so relaxing and refreshing.

Visited this beautiful place to enjoy our wedding anniversary plus birthday. Loved by the serenity and beauty of this resort situated near the Vembanad lake.
Room was so spacious and tidy as it has all the requirements including two bathrooms and a small lounge area.

They provided complimentary tea and snacks in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Food at the restaurant was so tasty but very costly.

The complimentary boat ride was so interesting. The boat ride was about one hour and I really loved it. Also there was a music cultural program at night for about 1 hour with tabla and guitar. This was also very soothing and awesome. Overall service and this resort marks an excellent place for all those who wish to explore Kumarokom Backwaters in Kerala

I had my sister’s engagement here and it was soo amazing the view, staffs, service, food, rooms everything I loved it. Thanks to Mr Govind F&B Director who helped us arrange everything and could manage smoothly.

This is on the top of the list of best stays ever. Excellent property, dazzling view of backwaters, very clean. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of ours. Thank you so much.

One of my frequently visited resorts in kumarakom.they have renovated recently and added few more cottages and a new building which provides a great view.they also have a convention centre so that you could conduct weddings and other events.the food you get here is amazing.

Geyser is not working, mosquitoes are there at night, Tea kettle was not working. They intentionally cancelled complimentary boat ride, though weather was good. Not a good resort at all

The Location is just amazing!
I came here for an Engagement. The lunch was really tasty - it was the traditional Kerala meals on the leaf.
The view of backwaters is mesmerising. Kids can have a great time as a part of garden has swings. The place is silent and peaceful. One can also see some migratory birds as the bird sanctuary is very close to this resort….

Overall it was a nice experience!

Property is well maintained and lot of open space as well.
Negative marks to staffs as they are acting as if they are paying us to stay there. Pathetic attitude.
Kitchen and room service are acting as if they are from two different organizations.
Food was good but options are too less for breaskfast.

The hotel is located on the shore of Vembanad lake. The hotel and rooms are maintained well. A pool is there but small one. Rooms are moderately spacious but no couch or sofa. Extra bed is charged 1500 a bit costly. Kids play is there but not much equipment to play. Ambience is serene and peaceful. A good choice for a leisure stay. Food is good but on the costlier side. Ample parking space is there for car parking. A complimentary boat cruise for 1 hour provided in the evening in the vast lake.

Excellent location, service and food. Small but we’ll maintained property with a beautiful view and staff that will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Good swimming pool and tasty food. Overall excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

Good experience. Infinity pool is awesome. Only 3 stars because room service is not so great. There is much waiting period at the restaurant. Food is tasty.

Excellent service, authentic local food, and beautiful room. The staff were very accommodating, allowing us to stay on the property past our check out time while we waited for our pick up.
This was by far the best service and most picturesque hotel I have stayed in while in Kerala.

Rooms and ambiance are good but service is very bad. I called many time for water and Tv problems they didn't rectify. I purchased water from outside.

Nice getaway spot away from busy city life. Has nice and well maintained property with pool, games room, garden, landscape, boating and overlooking backwaters. The property is not so big and overall good.

The resort is easy to reach and is located on the bank of the lake. The banquet halls are well maintained and has all the facilities one would need.
I loved their food! I especially loved their bbq pork ribs which is a must have.
The open backyard facing the lake is picturesque and good place to relax.

We went to this resort yesterday. Location is good. Food price is too high. Communication from reception and executives are too bad. One cup of simple black tea is 120 + tax. I will recommend other resort to spend your valuable time and money.

No play area. No house boat or boating activities, expensive, extra payment for food but good backwater view and good for honey moon

I stayed on 28th August n lost my wedding ring on 29th morning in swimming pool. And I checked the pool by evening and didn't find it. Anyone noticed or found, kindly inform. Please.

Place was good.nice and relaxing atmosphere. Greenery and backwaters are calming. But the food is pathetic. Buffet charge is around 0.8K per person and they serve very less and lower quality stuff. No variety as well. Also the service was poor. I had to call more than 5 times and finally shout to get tv channels. Mind you this is a 4star hotel and they are charging a premium. We stayed during onam. Still its not an excuse for their poor show.

Excellent property with amazing view of the vembanad lake. Great hospitality and good food. The pool is the icing on the cake.

In summary, the resort is good but not worth for the price. Food offered is high on price. Service was average and was not prompt. Average complimentary breakfast. Even drikiing water or proper tissue was not provided duringbreakfast. Nothing much special offered in package. Other than a lake view and a pool, nothing much special.

The rooms are well maintained and furnished. Service people are well mannered. Had the buffet dinner here. The food was decent.

Good location. Their banquet facility is superb and equipped to have 3000 pax party. Their food is delicious and they posses a massive multi cuisine kitchen setup to cater 24x7 to any number of guests upto 5000

Good number of security personal, lavish parking space, well maintained property, excellent hospitality, newly constructed main building, mud pots kept at almost every corner to deposit waste, View from the property is beautiful. Clean pool with locker rooms. Boat ride included in the package.
No proper direction to the children’s playground, Circled 2-3 times to find the table tennis room, I found it very hard to find any active channels in the TV And do not shake the welcome drink that is served in bottle. Over all the stay was comfortable but missed a sense of relief.

Booked a lakeview room for 2. Rs 10100 incl taxes for one night.
Pros
1. Very spacious campus
2. Indoor games (carrom, tt), cycling (allowed to take the cycle outside campus), swimming pool.used all thesr.comfortably.njoyed!
3.complimentary boat ride at 5pm fr an hr was initially canceled, later rescheduled to 9am, then postponed to 10am.calm n good.except for blaring speakers with broken radio songs.
Cons
1.despite other better kakeview rooms being empty, we werent offered those despite paying the price.
2.very limited vegetarian eggless options for food. Noticed some eggless pastries for sale, still they werent included in the buffet, despite repeate requests.numerous non veg options even for breakfast, though no attempt to provide eggless. (in cold buffet)
3. Swimming costumes werent available for men, few sizes fr females for sale.had to buy from a market place nearby.

Allbin all good options to enjoy, destress and relax, with a calminv lake view

Serene calm experience. They give you good care and respect your privacy. Well maintained. You get a refreshing feeling when you are here.

You have option to go outside and have food as the food is unnecessarily costly.

Ideal place to stay with family. Taisty food. Ample parking space. Water front area. Swimming pool etc. All the above well behaved staff.

Very comfortable, cosy resort situated right in backwater of vembanad lake.
We were welcomed with complimentary drinks. Rooms were neat and spacious enough for 4 people. What was really unusual was that our room had two bathrooms. Which turned out to be an excellent thing.
We went cycling and swimming at the pool which over looks the backwater.
I must tell you the food was absolutely yummy. The breakfast buffet had amazing choices. The mini croissants were some of the best I have had.
Facilities were excellent. Housekeeping people were very polite, friendly and helpful. Had the best stay.

We went here on Diwali day. They lit crackers for the inmates to celebrate. Great place to stay with family and friends. Good food and great ambience.

Must visit place in komarakom. Very nice food, courteous service. You can do fishing, their is daily activity of boating, tea, cycling etc.

Worst place for an outdoor shoot for the price they charge they only provide a small open space where there are no much options for utilising
