It's like a hell the staff behavior is so arrogant. Not everyone but few. Mr Rony and Sreekumar (F&B manager) we're really bad at service as they think I am drinking on there money. They have very less product knowledge regards to the happy hours. I been to many star hotels but Barrel was a bad experience due to these fellows. Mr midhun was really good he use to serve me regularly, so if anyone visiting barrel ask for him. Stay away from Mr Rony and Sreer Kumar. " barrel services really bad " only Mr. Midhun is cool.

Happy hours @Vedanta - Unhappy experiences Poor service from the staff, yesterday I really had a bad experience at the bar. The staff who attended were so arrogant. When we come to star category hotel we would definitely expect their service to be at the same level, but the kind of experience which I had was so bad. Most of the hotels provide happy hours for their promotion where they would ensure that the customers are happy and would treat their customer with great service. But unfortunately at Barrel (Vedanta) for me it was just an unhappy experience. The sad part is that when I tried to explain to them about my unhappy experience that I had they were least bothered to hear and that makes it clear how they value a customer.
Vedanta has 2 bars actually, though with the same menu. They have the new loungebar named blue on ground floor. Barrel is the bar on 1st floor. The service is really good and they are very welcoming. Also their complementary touchings are great. Both the places have seperate smoking rooms. They screen live ipl matches now. It is okay for ladies to go alone. They have happy hours from 11 to 7. (buy 2 get 1) A beer would cost Rs. 250 (kf strong).
