Beach & Lake Ayurvedic Resort, Kovalam

The food of this place was so bad. Idk how to explain this.
Never order biryani idk what they have given to us. It was full of oil and was not any way biryani.
The chapathy was good and the curry was decent.
The rooms were decent but again for thr price its hefty.
Only thing is the location. Rest everything is below average.

The property is divided in 3 parts, Main resort with beach facing rooms, pool and massage area and restaurant/other rooms (the last area needs to be accessed with 2 min boat ride which is available all day long).

We stayed at Beach facing Ac rooms with Bathtub. Rooms were spacious, clean and balcony had amazing view. Food and overall service was good too. Worth the premium price.

One can access the beach from Restaurant area by 2-3 min walk. Beach is small but not crowded at all. One might find fishermen and some locals only.

It's recommended to book AC rooms only, it was warm even in December. Kovalam beach is just 5kms away and trivandrum is 9-10kms.

Their cream was very bad, I got allergy due to that poop like cream

It is a very nice place and the service is also good. The best thing I liked is the Ayurveda experiance and delicious food and the boating experience to other side of property

Excellent staycation in Trivandrum Kerala near Kovalam. Staffs are friendly and helpful good service and great ayurveda treatments received from here. Will definitely recommend this place if you are looking for place to relax your mind

Best place to spend vaccation. Quiet and calm place where you can forget all your stress and can relax. Beach and lake view and boatride was amazing. Will comeback here again if we visit Trivandrum

3. Easy to access from kovallam town

Dis advantages:
1. Food is not evn upto mark.
2. Bar not avilable.
3. Staff should be well trained to deal with the customers.

Hotel ambiance is good but the food is worst, they don’t have anything available for vegetarians. They only mix pineapple in everything so please mention while ordering anything there to not include pineapple in biryani. They dont have any sense to treat guest who are not liking their food, I was asking for maggi or paratha but they have nothing available. This is happened today with us.

Had a lovely stay at BEACH & LAKE AYURVEDIC RESORT.the staff was friendly and supportive as i had my family with me.they were friendly to my kid.the boat ride is amazing experience between the room and reception area.food can be better.and as we demanded an early check-in as we reached 4 hours early.they were charging us more than 60percent of the fare which I found unfair.they could have charged 4 hrs cost of 40 percent of the fare as i had my kid with me. REST HAD AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE.

Worst experience ever. Worst customer service, no regards for short term stayers and Indians. They cater well for foreigners staying for longer period of time. We were refused to be served food at certain areas of the resort as they are particularly available for foreigners only, and other areas which were available for us were all filled and had no space to sit. We were asked to order food in our room only. What's the use of booking the place when we are confined to our room only? The AC in our room dripped water consistently the entire night.resulting in soaking wet bed but even upon notifying the management no actions were taken. I wouldn't recommend this pricey trash to anyone. Save yourself your dignity, money and experience by not going to such a discriminatory place.

One of the best choice we had on our trip. The location is a beach front and has a lake by its side where it meets the sea. The room and restaurant is situated in an
island for which they offer a boat ride for free. The place is too calm and quiet with such a nice ambience. The people over there are really helpful and very kind (specially thank to Promos Kumar) and very good service from their side. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A well-prepared delectable meal with great presentation and an interesting flavor I've never experienced before. Looking forward for the next time.

I stayed here for 4 days and I must say that I am really very impressed with the over all services provided by the staff. I would like to give each and every staff thousand claps for wonderful stay experience at the hotel be it Receptionist, Chef, in room dining, housekeeping. If possible I would really request you to pass on my regards and message to all the staff members for exceptional service. All of them made me feel very comfortable and happy. (It's the team work that goes a long way)

One of the best place to stay around when you’re in Kovallam. The property is very close to the beach and the ambience is top. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will visit again.

I would say the crucial part of this resort is the location where it is situated, It is situated very very close to the sea and the other one close to the lake, this resort is consist of two building for stay and another building for ayurvedic treatment, building which is close to the sea is provided you a memorable experience, Everytime you can feel the spraying of water from the sea, when we are talking about food, this is average beacuse it is not spicy, like western peoples food,

Very disappointed with the property. The rooms are not upto the standard. Only plus point is Mr. Pramod, the kitchen staff, who was really kind n could keep the food ready when we arrived late in the night. The food is horrible and the complimentary breakfast they offer is not at no matches the price they charge for the room. And the lady incharge ms Rani is only good as long as you book later she doesn't respond. We booked for two nights from 12 to 14 th of August but we had to cancel one extra day due to the lizards, frogs big spiders in the room.

And please don't fall for their pics on website as they don't have a private beach. Only take away was view from the first floor balcony view. Think twice before booking.

Decent place to stay and relax. Awesome location. Right at the place where the backwaters meets the sea. Good view from the room and cherry to the cake is the boat ride you have to take to cross the backwaters to reach the rooms from reception. Would definitely recommend this place.

Recently visited a beautiful resort in Trivandrum, Kerala which has a
Relaxing ambience with an enchanting view of the Beach and the Lake.
Its a very Peaceful place to relax and rejuvenate. The hospitality as well as the service is top notch. The property is very well maintained and had a very scenic view which is a great stress buster.
As its also an ayurvedic resort, they have wonderful treatments and rejuvinating packages. The therapists are highly skilled and knowledgable in their field of work.

Dr. Gowtham is very pleasent, patient and accomodative to understand the needs and requirements of all the patients.

The treatments and the location makes it an ideal place for holiday for families who like to destress, keep their children engaged which makes the experience and stay very unique wholesome and a delight.

Property is located on two sides of a river. A small journey in boat to the iland sections is a unique and rare experience.

Clean and neat resort. Bathrooms and rooms are spacious with necessary items. All rooms are air conditioned. The ambience and view from rooms are excellent. The resort is about half hour from Central Railway station.
Food is way expensive. (Eg: 350 rs for a chicken biriyani). Would suggest the resort for stay but buy food from outside. Kovalam beach is 4km from this place

Location is the main highlight. Rooms are not maintained properly. I am satisfied with my stay there.kids love the place.

Had a wonderful time here with family. Good location with great service. Food was very tasty and price was very much less expensive. 3 star hotel with 5 star service and facilities. Ayurveda treatments like Abhyanga and Shirodhara very well taken and doctor Was also very humble and gave a load of time for us clarifying the treatment, clearing our doubts and recording health related questions. Will surely recommend this plus for relaxation and for ayurvedic treatments

Out stay was amazing here. Hotel staff is very kind and helpful here. We got a very special and kind gesture from Gautam. He is an in-house Ayurvedic doctor in the hotel. He took care of almost all of our needs. He also suggested few Ayurvedic therapies and treatments for various health problems. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone who’s planning a trip to Trivandrum.
