Food is very bad and expensive. We ordered pizza and a banana pan cake. Both tastes were the worst.

Food is absolutely bland… butterfish had absolutely no salt or spice or flavour…. Pizza was weird because raw tomatoes & basil leaves was put on top of pizza after pizza was as made & pizza itself was weird… if someone is ok wd absolutely bland food thn the place os good ….

Staff does not know their menu and has zero willingness to help customers. Ended up going to a different place with better service for dinner instead.

Good service and great food. We only ordered veg burger and farmer's breakfast on the day we were leaving but both were great. Would love to visit again!

This cafe located on side of seashore near to the light house. As per my experience the cafe has wide popularity through media but the quality I expected from that not there. It’s only a normal cafe like all others, only difference is it’s has a sea face. So many cafés along the seashore of Kerala has more ambiance and quality than this. We can consider this only as better one at kovalam. Food items are serving in a different way that’s little funny. But going to the price if you are paying 300 something for a burger and 200 something for normal juice, then you are eating and drinking something different but reality it’s ordinary item. So as per price point of view I think it’s very expensive as compared to other cafes. Staffs are very professional and well maintained cafe. Seats are very traditional and architectural works are also good but it’s very congested. So privacy point of view it’s not friendly. The view from inside little small but the seats outside the building provide better one. Some seats are very near to walkways. So best time to visit after 5 pm.

Food is not good enough. It takes a lot of time to prepare even simple food. May be good for foreigners but not for Indians.

Below average place. Overhyped. Went there with my 6 year old and wife. Worst service. Everyone was eagerly awaiting their order. Food is also okay nothing great. I ordered a pizza, bruchetta and a french fries. It took 45 mins for the pizza to come forget about the french fries.if you order breakfast then be optimistic to get it before lunch.price is also on the expensive side.but i dont mind paying if i get value for my hard earned money.also, FORGET about the hospitality or warmth fron the serving staff.too COLD they are.

It's nicely located restaurant famous for sea food. Also u can enjoy sea view from its dinning tables

Food was overpriced for the quantity they served. Compared to other cafes in Varkala beach, the ambiance and sea view is very poor. Services were very slow and took up to 30 to 45 mins to serv the order we placed.

A very atmospheric place, the food is delicious, good presentation, but the price matches, it is slightly out of the average on the coast. But this is value for money. Loved the breakfast here. We'll come again

Took more time to serve. Ordered Egg cheese grilled killer sandwich and it was not upto expectation. Good ambience though

Visited Beatles Cafe and had some amazing prawns and mussels in garlic and butter sauce as 'little bites'. Then had the banana leaf wrapped tiger prawns and another king fish also with the kerala curry. Really yummy. The ginger lemon pineapple juice was also nice. Service was very friendly and the whole ambience was comfortable. Sat upstairs but there are ocean views if you're downstairs too.

The taste of the food is below normal. Not like what the Beatles had heard about.
And the behavior of the staff here is not good.

Awesome place to chill with friends & family, friendly staffs and nice ambient. The coffee was simply awesome must try.

Never miss it if you're in Trivandrum or Kovalam. Amazing vibe, awesome food, magical place below the lighthouse.best part is that the founder of the restaurant is hands-on (with me in the picture below) & ensure an experience you will always cherish.

One star down because of the insane amount of waiting time. Took about an hour to get a burger and creamy chicken pasta.

Never going back tothis place. Luckily I was able to walk out after a couple of drinks and forced buying of Apps. Chef was shouting at top of voice at his staff. Feeling sorry for the staff. It was utter chefs mistake for missing our order and serving other guests before us. It was not crowded by the time we went. So can’t justify the reason behind taking so much time to serve us. I also don’t think paying 600rs for a couple of pieces of half cooked squid is really you would be doing.

I would rather recommend going to Taste of Kerala on Beach road. I would give them more than 5 stars.

Beatles is a casual chill spot that's provides you with a good round of starters and main course. Bit expensive but worth. Try out thier buffalo wings.

Tastewise good ; chicken steak and fried rice tasty but cost is on the higher side ; good ambience at the seaside

One of best pet friendly cafe in Trivandrum! The shop is currently renovating. Ambience is just awesome inside the cafe. Just take a visit there.

I am giving 2 star only because of the friendly service staff. Food only 1 star.
The food taste and quality was not upto the expectation. Beef steak and grilled fish were full of oil (like deep fired). Chicken fried rice too much oily. Home cooked potato chips were regular readymade french fries. Grilled fish was asked to make medium spicy, but it was bland and no salt at all. Mashed potato served with the steak was with potato chunks instead of being creamy.
I heard a lot of good reviews about the place, but they failed to live upto the expectations. Definitely overpriced for the quality.
I hope they will improve next time.

The service we received was so amazing. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. I really like seafood? Grill was really delicious and yummy. Beatles cafe is the right place where I should recommended, it made us feel at home. Someone should really visit this amazing cafe. We'll be visiting soon again

dont visit this resturant.first.chef is so rude.it was take time to come dish 1hour 30 min.and they just engry of staff when i Complained and.seafood was not fresh.i ordered mussels it was Terrible.

Fish curry was like a soup of leftovers and Carribbean Salat had raw chicken. Could have been the worst food I have had out. Definitely overpriced, twice the price of other places. (Especially given the food quality)

Even though COVID took the shine out of the beach cafes, Beatles still shines bright. Benny and his crew cooks up fantastic flavourful meals. We tried the butter fried prawns and fish and chips. All seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection.

Fish fingers were delicious. Liked the ambience especially exterior Perfect location to enjoy sunset and beach.

Excellent staff and service. Great ambiance. Good staff and service. Overall very pleasing experience. Worth the money spent.

If there is a place for spending your evenings with/without friends, it's none other than Beatles Cafe!
OH the food, the ambience, the taste, and the never ending view. OH OH OH. Its a bliss. Might consider a little expensive but then they are providing it ALL in one place. Even though they don't serve beer as per their menu, they will arrange it from some other place for a small fee, so it's basically ALL IN ONE place. The experience was amazing, must go to place in & near Trivandrum.

Food on point, service on point, staff on point, prices affordable

A daily go to place for us during week long stay. Ate from almost every category but the favourite was tamarind fish curry! Absolute love for this delicacy. Also loved the Italian soup and sea good omlette.

The view is a plus, quirky quotes all around the place give it a hip feeling. We had the chance to interact with the chefs which was a totally fun experience too!

Pathetic service.they are least bothered to serve and it takes 1-2 hours to serve after ordering.poor client service and worse experience.

The good: Wow, the vibe of this place so relaxing with great views of the sea. The food was delicious and worth what you pay. You have to go there for breakfast if not for any other meal. (Though we ended up eating most of our meals here)
They also serve fresh sea food of the day. Because there weren't a lot of places open on Kovalam beach, this came to our rescue when other options were not of our taste
The bad: Washroom could have been cleaner

In kovalam beach, there a many cafes, with this having one of the best mood setting environments, also, the staff are very polite, but the service takes time, has open area for people who want to smoke.

Waste of money, visit only when you are foreigner. A highly discrimatory place for Indians. Read the reviews by Indians, all have complained about slow service to only Indians and bland food. It was painful to see foreigners who came later than us getting served before us. Go if you want to experience India before independence. Now when I have written this, the owner would come running hurriedly in the reply section with his/her poor English trying to do some damage control. I wish the service was so prompt. The person even stalks people online while replying to review and shows his/her power of putting sarcastic comments. God bless him/her courage to accept the fact that they are discriminatory.

Decent ambience with sea view and delicious food. Banana leaf fish is must try there. I just loved the taste. Overall good place to chill

Went with the family and no word to express they they have the best dishes ambience, service and no wonder it is rated the best in the city.

CRABS and Snappers, enjoyed my first time, great service. Make sure you get your reservation in early in the season times. I don't think that there is much more to say.

I heard good about this place from my friend. There is a long history behind this place. The place where pop and rock culture emerged into South. Food was not as expected.

They undoubtedly have an amazing view. You can just sit there, relax, have some good food and listen to the waves hitting the shore. The staff is very polite and courteous.

Superb first time experience, eveything was very tasy, staff very efficient plesent met the main chef Benny.a classic butter sauce make the seafood fantastic.

Terrible service, rather I should say discriminatory service. The restaurant is quick only to foreigners. When we complained about lethargic service, they started crying that we had ordered only 5 min ago. The staff was so busy serving foreigners that they forgot our order. Pizza was bland, customized to foreiners' palate. And, interestingly, all Indian customers have complained about their lethargic service but 5 star ratings from foreigners have made the owner blind. Now the owner will come running in the reply section that we serve freshly prepared food lol. They should put more efforts in improving in their service. But ohh I forgot they are not welcome to Indians even while replying online. Would never visit the cafe.

We had heard a lot about this place, Being a big foodie, I came here to have the dinner, First of all, the service was so bad, the waiter didn't even bother to come to our table, we called him like 25 times then he came to take order, Then I asked him to suggest something good, He said everything is nice, order anything, We order a white sauce pasta which was nice, then we ordered north Indian food, dal, panner butter masala and aloo mushroom: It was so bad, we couldn't even finish it, Then we ordered fish, which was okay, just okay.

Totally waste of money.

My favourite seating spot at kovalam beach. Had got a good front view. People here is very friendly. Had good and tasty food. Price is high but we cant complain it because all the other restaurents here also follows the same pricing amount.

Had dinner at the Beatles Cafe and grill. Very casual ambiance. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Looks out to the sea. Ordered the grilled sea food platter. Waited a full hour to get it. But it was absolutely delicious! It was piled high with mussels, lobsters, crabs, prawns and fish with some salad as well. The chef is very courteous.
Hand washing facility available. Toilets were not very clean. The cafe opens to the beach side walkway, so is only accessible by foot.
Tip: This is a spot for vacationers. Go there a full hour ahead, sip a beer and enjoy the sea breeze and the view while waiting for the food. That makes it worthwhile.

Worst service ever, took half an hour to get milk shake. Waiters are more interested in serving foreigners than Indians. We had ordered a margarita pizza and they took more than an hour to serve it. The ingredients were Stale and smelled funny.

Nice location and pleasant staff, so came here a couple of times for a decent breakfast although it was quite pricey compared to most places on the sea front. However we returned for supper and the food was awful. The chicken biriyani was gross fatty lumps of chewy tasteless chicken unfit for a dogs dinner. The veg burger was like a greasy potato rosti and even the staff didn’t know what it was made from. Later that night my partner and I both felt quite sick and suffered stomach pains. Improvements to the quality of the food and the way it is prepared are essential. It’s a wonderful quirky little place with a good vibe but that simply is not enough if The Beatles Cafe and Grill want to complete with similar restaurants that offer a much better standard and at a more competitive price. Wake up Beatles don’t just sit back and let it be

We loved sitting here and staring at the sea, observing other tourists passing by. The location was great. It was relaxing after a walk in the scorching sun.
The food and beverages however, were average. We tried quite a few items between the 2 of us, but we didn't really like any of them. Husband was ok with the pizza, but I didn't like that too. Service was good. The staff was courteous. However, they took a long time to deliver the food. At one point, we even thought they had forgotten our order.
All in all, it was an ok experience. We do not think we will visit again.
