We had undergone ORIF surgery under doctor Sreekumar on 14/7 2023.the surgery was a failure and infected with bacteria klebsella. Again consulted some other hospital and done revision surgery. We all know Dr Sreekumar was knowing that that surgery was a failure.we had very worst experience from the nursing staff and the doctor who treated him.please consider that it is a life of someone. All doctor s should consider about that. It is service more than money. Still he is suffering with infected wound this is the medical negligence against the patient

Good hospital in kottayam. But waiting for doctor is horrible especially in general medicine. All doctors are not on time.they come 30 to 1hr late. Then during consultation they go anywhere and come after 30 min or more, this leads further waiting. Also took around 15-30 min for one patient.

From what it was to what it has become, Bharath hospital over the years has grown to a multi speciality hospital with the modern state of the art equipment, one the finest in Kottayam town. Been going here for more than a decade for all cases.
Clean, extremely friendly and experienced doctors.

They have everything, doctors in all fields, experienced, very kind and patiently heeds to your ailments! State of the art MRI, CT, etc etc machines. What more do you need? Multiple ICUs with all the ready to go modern machines.

Don't know what to say. This Hospital is my birthplace. So I'm having a special attachment to this hospital as I was born here. And for any serious cases in our health we are coming here. Especially Dr. Rajesh Menon. He is a kindhearted doctor. We family wise consults him. Thankyou all the doctors, nurses and Management team for providing such a good services

My mother was admitted at Bharath Hospital on 11.04.2023 due to vomiting and fever. We all became panic when she was diagnosed covid positive. She is 74 and was very weak also. But, because of the special treatment and caring from the hospital, she was discharged on the 4th day itself without any complication. The staff and doctors were very helpful and caring. They were always available whenever needed. Even Duty doctors were also very cautious. Special thanks to Dr. Rajesh, Vinod Sir, Sister Deepthi and Sister Mini who helped my mother for a speedy recovery. The treatment, support and caring from the hospital was excellent

A Good Hospital with all latest equipment and highly experienced doctors. We can see large number of staff to assist the patients. Except a few, most of the staff are very co operative and polite. Parking is a problem, even though parking lot is provided. Due to the geographical position, it is little bit difficult to reach the hospital. Good pharmacy, lab facilities, normal canteen, ambulance services, are available. In totality a recommended hospital.

Horrible experience. Today I went to hospital to see the surgeon, I met Dr Kiran and he was terrible, not at all compassionate to me, his way of talking was terrible. I am really terrified with his care. Me working as a health care professionals in the UK, couldnt tolerate these type of behavior. Dr Kiran needs to give respect to patients and change his way of speaking to the people.

Thanks to god and Bharat hospital. I dont know how these people can give such negative review. But my personal experience was somthing else. The way they treat my family, how they support my late night calls.besides all my family is happy only because of the cardiology department doctors nurses reception staff emergency doctors. Thank u all from bottom of heart.

I will never give one star even if i have a option to give 0star I will definitely give 0star. Dr Sharon (gynecologist) she is not having minimum ethics to manage her patient. Her behaviour is soo rude. If yu apply for TPA minimum one year will taken to approve it.such a bad experience.

This hospital which is located in the heart of city may be conveniently located for a lot of people and has some really good doctors. Except for that, there is not one single thing about this hospital that you can be content about. In fact, when you leave this place, you will almost make your mind that you never want to see this place in your life again.

The adminstration is so pathetic and disorderly and the staff has absolutely no clue on what is happening. There is no proper procedure and often you are misguided and given contradictory information. The one thing that they are very good about is to make people run from pillar to post. Rather than making life easier for the patients, they will make sure that the patient gets more distressed with the procedural complications/extreme delay in paperwork etc. I wish there was a negative star rating that I could give this place. Extremely pathetic!

Recently I consulted Dr. Rajeshkumar, ENT, his attitude towards me was very poor, he was very busy with other personal activities over phone, he thinks patients are slave. Very poor.

Shoddy institution where nurses dont follow basic sterilisation procedures. Soiled clothes and linen
are carried on the same lift along with patients. Nurses are trapped into contracts with worst pay and are forced to work long hours. Next pandemic will originate from Bharath Hospital. Save yourself.

Dey Don't have tissue for wiping gel in scanning department Dey r using old clothes for wiping.dey don't have handwash in bathrooms and it is not clean

Very bad hospital. The nurses in covid ward are very rude and not at all taking care of the patients properly. They dont even communicate with the concerned relatives regarding health of patients. They are simply imposing too much charge by telling like test done and we dont even get any idea on what test on when done. There are good doctors like main doctors are good. But the junior team and nursing staffs make the things worse

Couldn't be worst than this
Casualty patients are treated casually
I had been waiting for the duty doc for atleast 45mins to meet. I can understand because there are lot of casualty patients.
But can the management tell me why should the patient who is at the casualty without any by stander has to buy the med from pharmacy and then wait untill the nurse calls for injection
How is it even fair?
I was shivering unable to sit or stand and they asked me to buy the meds and wait.
Also when I went to buy the injection med they told me that it's not priscribed
How can a patient feel for all these atrocities
And guess what I had been waiting for almost 30mins
And when I went in.they asked me to wait cause there is only one nurse at the casualty. Just imagine there's only only nurse and lot of patients.
And if something happens to me/ my health
Bharath Hospital Kottayam is truly responsible for it
It's really pathetic and I'm totally exhausted while typing all of it
Please understand the patient's pain and act accordingly for those with no by standers

I have got bad experience from a security (parking) staff. They have stolen money from my car while they helping us in parking. In all other facilities we are extremely happy but this is the worst part and even didn't get this type of experience from any other places.

Earlier given a 4 star. Now changing it to 2 star because of their policy change only. As far as I know unique card number is given for a life time and nowadays keeping data for each patient is not a Herculean task. Bharath hospital now have a policy like their card have a expiry date, even though we regularly visit the hospital. What’s the point in giving a unique ID to each patient? Looting a bank is better than this. Keep away from their service

I recently visited the hospital for an eyecheckup and the doctor was Shobhana Mohandas. Me, my husband and my daughter we three registered and waited for the doctor for around 1 hour.

I strongly suggest not to visit Dr. Shobhana. The doctor not even asked why we visited the hospital. She just saw the spects and asked to change it and left the room for a tea break. The nurse or her assistant, not sure who she is, just asked us to read the text on the board and that's it.

Not sure, if this happened due to covid or is it same all the time, But my suggestion is not to open the department if you are not ready to test the patient. I spent around 750/- only for registration.

Rest all seems to be good regarding the hospital, but never recommend Dr. Shobhana Mohandas

Rooms are not clean.there is no facilities according to the charges. For all the requirements of admitted patients the bistanders has to go up and downs. Examples: for paying lab bills, consultations. Staffs are coporative. I wont suggest any body to come here

Bharath hospital is not new to native of Kottyam. It is a very old hospital which still maintains its rythm.

They always try and acheive to make a better tomorrow in terms of service, support, cleanliness and availability nevertheless to the limitations which exist.
Some cons: longer waiting time in medicine lobby to collect it. They really miss or lack a real tocken system with display mechanism.
Some pros: rest everything are promotions.considering it as not a 3 star or 5 star hospital.

Almost all depeartments to the best in class with a better lab of thier own.

They mainatins the best they can with respect to the space they really have by land, building and parking area.
They covers additions parking areas outside hospital premises as well.

About CoViD19 vaccination: the drive is well maintained and well planned drive. It cost INR 780.00 as of 01-Jul-2021.

One thought of betterment: could have some more spacious location to maintain a much more social distancing.

Rest all are the best in class they does for this vaccination drive which includes coordination of the staff, the security officer, politeness in the collection of money and bill, providng clarity and awareness of the amount, id proof and madicine to the customer, etc.

This hospital is very much congested and no ample car parking facility is available. Behaviour by management towards nurses is like slavery. But the doctors available here are very good (in some departments).

They are charging huge amount for small room. Rooms are conjuted. Canteen not cleaned well & prices of food items is very high. Actually They are cheating the people. When u entered the hospital u ll irritated. But only one thing some doctors are very good.

Worst hospital! Doctors won't even listen what the actual reason is. Went to see the Opthamologist. I don't want to reveal the doctors name. The consulatation room itself is congested. They diluted my eyes and didn't diagnosed any problem. After one week the same doctor refered to the ENT there. He also didn't diagonise anything. After few days still my pain persists and went to another doctor in another hospital. A cyst is there. A humble request please don't serve this medical area if u to not interested especially the doctors. You are playing with the others life!

Very poor experience. Most of the doctors don't show up on time. So slow and waiting period is awful. Management is very bad and poor services offered overall. Be prepared to wait for the whole day if you plan to come here.

This hospital is charging high amount in COVID treatment I have bad impression service not good my mother was admitted in this hospital for COVID treatment only 8 days the charge 80000 rupees only medicine and room my opinion nobody will go to this hospital

Narrow escape from bharath hospital treatment.
1. Doctors are good but they have to work according to the management which is basically a money oriented approach.
2. First and formost they are not following the covid protocol temperature checking or proper sanitisation. No data collection of the patients or persons visiting the hospital.
3. Very poor parking area. Also no lift service from basement parking area.
4. Pharmacy billing section is the most time consuming where you have to spend a lot of time.
5. Ultrasound scanning room looks like a work area. They give used clothes for cleaning gel instead of tissue paper even now in covid situation. They are re-using the same towels for other patients too.
6. Unhygienic canteen which is situated near to a ward where bed ridden patients are there.
7. Lab staffs are good. They were helpful. But during this covid situation they gave a cup for GTT test which was already used by other patients. Even after asking they did not give disposible cup.
8. Poor ventialtion and conjusted areas.

Overall rating is very bad. They are highly concentrated in money rather than providing good health services. Covid protocols are not at all followed.

Dr sudhayakumar sir is the best, because of him we went there.but the management they are straining the poor patients.a normal middle class can not afford financially.a room rents are very costly comparing other private hospitalss. Even in this covid crisis, people are suffering economically a lott.so a hospitality should treat their patients humanitarialy rather than financialy.and please consider to reduce the cost of prvt rooms and maintain cleanliness

I don't know all the department and doctors. From my own experience Dr. Sudhyakumar in Cardiology department is good. He do not do unnecessary test of patients.
The consultation (300) and registration fee (150) is high compared to caritas and matha. And another thing is seating capacity in op waiting area is very low. Parking space inside hospital is very low. We need to park outside ground. Hospital staffs are good.

Such a worst hospital in kottayam.problems starting from parking issues.autorickshaw goons parking front road of the hospital its make us too hard to drive through the road when we come urgently its make huge block.if you're think to save anyone life urgently dont come here. And the other issue is basement parking place its smell like dumpyard full of hospital waste water maybe they are trying to create new diseases for increasing their profits. I think medical college is much better than this hospital. In here they will catch our all money but never provide better caring like private hospital they want only money such a worst hospital in kerala if you want to save your money and life Don't come here please go to the medical college far better place

Worst management. I don't know why they are charging registration fee every 6 months. May be the charge for file locker room. Trying to loot money from poor patients. They know patients has no other options, that's why they will pay without say anything.

Pharmacy experience is very bad specially if you pay via card. We have to wait more time if we pay via card. They are telling they have to update in system. Also there is no fan in the space where we wait for getting medicine. Car parking is another big issue.

Good n qualified doctors,
Lagging in facilities to the out patients.proper waiting facilities with patients token turn indication to be provided. Registration facilities must be streamlined,

Hope management will seek assistance from professionals of the industry to make their facility "patient friendly"
