Blanket Hotel has gained one of the best hotels in Munnar and is a great place to spend time out though with your family or friends, they provide best in class services and good atmosphere.

It was great experience staying in midst of Nature. The honeymoon pavilion rooms offer one of the best views of the waterfall. Rooms are spacious and cosy. They come with all the standard amenities. Special mention has to be made of the staff who are extremely courteous and helpful. They go out of the way to help you. Special mention has to be done of two people, one Mr Herbin of the reception. He made sure that all are travel arrangements were taken care of. Not only that he gave some good tips as how and where to explore Munnar. Other person that needs special mention is Mr Vishnu of the restaurant. He speaks impeccable English and takes good care of you while serving. He is cheerful and always proactively goes out of the way to serve you. There are two flip sides of the stay one is the location which is very secluded spot and you either need your own vehicle or rented vehicle all by yourself. The road is difficult to access but then magnificent view compensates for it. Other flip side is limited options for Lunch and dinner. As the place is secluded you have no other choice (unless you have your own vehicle and you are ready to drive through rough terrain) but utilise the options available at the hotel but then there are people like Vishnu who are cheerful and helpful compensate well for the limited options. I am sure they would surely expand the menu in due course. I would also suggest the management reduce the size of portion served and also the price. The portion served is for 3 to 4 people hence a single person can't try more than one dish! Every luxury comes with a stiff price tag and this one is no different but the view, service and the experience is worth each penny. I would strongly recommend this hotel to any person who wishes to unwind in the lap of Mother Nature to experience this property once.

Alcohol and food should be provided or allowed in cafe area.room service should be provided till late hours not just till 9: 30 pm.rest was fine.thanks

Spectacular location by a thunderous waterfall. Clean and tastefully done rooms. Has a great open dining area overseeing the waterstream.

Good place for families and couples. Very seneic place. Beautiful waterfall nearby. 30 mins walk to the waterfall.

Resort location and view from the rooms unmatched. Enjoyed the stay in the rooms.the waterfall could be seen from the room. Breakfast buffet was good.
The downside was the limited menu for lunch and dinner. The food provided at lunch and dinner was not tasty either.

It's a beautiful property set with a fantastic view of the Attruckad waterfalls. The staffs are amazing right from front desk to housekeeping. The amenities are excellent. The breakfast spread is yum. The ala carte orders is superb. The facility has a beautiful infinity pool and cafe area. The rooms are well maintained. And there's a beautiful nature walk to the waterfalls done in the mornings, which is a must in the time in this hotel.
Only difficulty is the route to the hotel, it's a little rough and tough mainly because it's private roads. You can always ask for hotel assist.
The experience is a must have.

Booked for 3 nights.buffet/ room service max by 9: 30pm.we have asked if we can get/carry the food in our room so that we can have it later on but we been denied.if you wish to party or drink alcohol be prepared to enjoy in room itself as property does not offer and allow to use any other place

Location of the hotel is excellent.try to choose a rooms with balcony for a beautiful view of waterfall.there are nearby locations which you could enjoy.

Food is tasty.they have both options of North and South Indian food in the buffet along with some live counter.

Front desk staff are very cooperative.

The location of the hotel is the most attractive factor of the stay.
It is situated near a waterfall and along the cliff. The view is awesome and u will really love it. The staff and food were also gud and upto it.
If u are planning to stay here, u shud go down and take a closer view of the waterfall from the bridge.

Overall experience in The Blanket was amazing. They met our expectations by providing quality food, good customer service, comfy and clean room. The view from the honeymoon suite which we booked was incredible. The room had great ambience. Among the amenities they provided, experience at the swimming pool was the best. Yet, the wifi service was poor, food was quite expensive. One of the biggest flaws was the road toward the hotel was very rough which took us hours to move up and down.

Fabulous hotel for staycation. We could spend a day or two here with family, we can experience the whole munnar here, the estate view, plantations and the Attukkad waterfalls are the main highlights around, which are also in walkable distance. Their infinity pool is also fantastic. We could book an hour or half at infinity pool. But pool is not promoted since the covid situations.

Price range starts from 6k and above. The honeymoon pavilion rooms are their best room category, we could enjoy the whole waterfall from our balcony. Since it is covid, they serve, buffet breakfast only. Lunch and dinner available as A-la-carte.
The only inconvenience is the road to the hotel is too messy.

The best stay ever. The food was exquisite. Extremely hygieneic rooms. Beautiful view. Excellent service. We couldnt have asked for anything more. The only drawback was the route to the hotel where the road was quite narrow. Overall we had an awesome experience there.

The hotel location was perfectly hidden in the valley and the rooms were majestic with the view of the waterfall and mountains. Mornings are the most blissful. Situated in outskirts so we are far away from hustle. Its really peaceful. The stay for our honeymoon was pure happiness and totally relaxation. The food is too delicious and well prepared. Morning breakfasts were awesome. The staff is humble and polite. Room Service is nice. Highly Recommended. Great Hospitality by Mr. Shankar and Mr. Akhil and team. We also had a unforgettable candlelight dinner and morning walk to the waterfall. Will really miss waking up to see the mist glide down the valley.

The honeymoon suite offers a nice view and the room was decent. Visited here during covid so I wasn't happy with the limited food options for lunch. Breakfast was not too bad. The infinity pool is quite small, and guests are allotted 30 mins at a time for the moment. Altogether a decent experience.

My gratitude to Ms Hena Asnath for her personal attention to make every moment of our trip enjoyable. I would highly recommend this resort.

Excellent service, super clean rooms, great food. And above all. Breath taking view. We are frequent visitors to Munnar; having stayed it more than fifteen properties in the last ten years. But Blanket wins hands-down. Kudos to the management team who has effectively empowered each one of the team members with a feeling of belonging. This time Aswathi and rest of the team took extra efforts to make our family comfortable.

The sound of waterfall from the room was the best thing.

The views from the room were breathtaking. The sound of the waterfall in the background surrounded with greenery all around was mesmerising. The rooms and other areas of the hotel was super clean and exuded a fresh feeling. The 2 drawbacks were: (1) the food options were not upto mark, buffet breakfast could have more options and other lunch/ dinner menu should provide more options for local cuisines. (2) the approach road to the hotel is in a horrible condition though as I understand, its a private road owned by Tata tea estate and its upto them to get the road repaired.

Great location and nice valley view and waterfall beside. Little bit overpriced. Reaching after long journey they took long check in and not even asked for water. Service need to be improved. Food was good.
