I got very bad experience from Blue Ginger resort Wayanad. They are not corporative with customer, they just looting money and giving waste service. Guys don't go with Blue Ginger. Take better one.

My stay at Blue Ginger Resorts in Wayanad was a mixed experience. The resort's location within a forest creates a beautiful ambiance, but it's important to note that reaching the resort is challenging, as our own sedans couldn't make the 5 km off-road journey. The arrangement of a jeep for transportation comes with an extra cost.

Unfortunately, the resort itself is not properly maintained and appears old. The staff were not very accommodating, and the service left much to be desired. The biggest letdown was the food – it was of poor quality, and timely meal service was a struggle. It was disappointing that they weren't prepared to handle food for all the guests at once, leading to inconvenient delays.

In summary, my visit to Blue Ginger Resorts in October 2023 left me very disappointed. While the forest ambiance is a plus, the resort's condition, staff service, and food quality need significant improvement to provide a more enjoyable stay.

Blue Ginger Resort in Vythiri strikes a perfect balance between luxury and nature. The rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished, and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. My experience at Vythiri Blue Ginger Resort has been bitter sweet. While the overall journey upto Vythiri was comfortable, we had to wait for a very long time at a poorly lit parking slot of the Resort for their pick up Jeep to pick us and take us to the resort. We were constantly in touch with the Resort manager and they could have planned the pick up jeep better. The property and location is awesome however the team isn't so efficient in managing high footfalls. At such high altitude where the weather is cold we ended up having cold water bath since their gas geysers weren't functioning. Coming to the food, this is a good place for Non vegetarians however for pure veg like us we felt short changed. Veg soup and non veg soup were kept in the same food holder with hardly any partition. Possibly the authorities could have been more sensitive over such delicate issues. During our check out we were asked to pay INR 600 to the jeep to drop us to the parking lot which was never informed to us earlier. Overall it wasn't so satisfying and I wish the authorities scale up and pull up their services.

Our family had a fantastic time at Blue Ginger Resort in Vythiri. The resort's family-friendly atmosphere and variety of activities kept everyone entertained. The kids enjoyed the outdoor play area and the pool, while the adults appreciated the well-maintained facilities and the soothing spa. The overall service was exceptional, and the staff made us feel at home. A highly recommended destination for a memorable family vacation.

Nice offbeat location! You'll really like it if you want a quiet place to unwind with good facilities. The waterfall is a great spot for a dip. AND THE ROAD IS VERY BAD TO REACH THEY CHARGE RS. 600/- FOR PICK UP VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. THE PROPERTY IS NOT MAINTAINED VERY BADLY. THE AMBIENCE IS GOOD. BUT THE OWNER IS BAD YOU MIGHT HAVE A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE IF YOU GO INTO A GROUP. ITS NOT A GOOD PLACE FOR GROUP ABOVE 6+.
NO NETWORK NO WIFI NO KIDS PLAY AREA NOTHING AND ROOM CHARGES ARE VERY HIGH. NOT WORTH FOR THAT PRICE.

Very beautiful place I have never seen like this before, lovely staffs and very peaceful place I love it

The place is in middle of the forest and you need to do off road drive for 3 km. The rooms are service is excellent and they are very clean. Staffs are very friendly and available round the clock. You will get one private waterfall and a hiking area. Staff Mr. Santhosh guided us very well and he was like a dedicated care taker. The food quality and the taste are excellent. They will ask what to cook and they will cook as per our taste and choice.

A must visit place to rejuvenate.

ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES OF OUR LIVES AND WORST MANAGEMENT YOU’LL EVER SEE IN A RESORT (MUST READ IF YOU ARE TAKING YOUR PARENTS, PETS, or SPOUSE)

First thing, They won’t tell you that the resort is situated on a mountain top and there is no road to go there, you have to park your cars 3.5 km before and go by off-road jeeps. Nothing bad in it but if you are taking your old age parents PLEASE BE WARE. You might end up hurting them more.

When asked upon that why was this not informed earlier, the management tells you that you have to take care of your health and fitness, we are not responsible for your lifestyle. (the manager and owner felt like they were drunk)

Secondly, it is not a pet friendly hotel whatever make my trip shows. Management will fight with you and not go in any solution mode.
You’ll just end up feeling why you have paid so much and wasted your time

3. Resort is a Khandar, it used to be beautiful it seems but it’s not taken care of

Only will recommend this resort if guys are going for a night out / Party and you don’t want any mobile reception coz there is none with no Wi-Fi availability as well. I will NOT recommend to take your parents, spouse and pets.

Only Jeep goes to the top of the hotel and it’s extra charges
Cool and calm
There is small water falls inside the resort and one can visit and enjoy
Lot of monkeys by mistake you should not keep the room window open

One of the top point resort in vythiri. Road from happening place to resort is adventurous. Natural pool is one of the best part and worst is food.

Resort is situated in such a property that makes the ambience more lovingly, cottages are distributed with a decent distance from each other adding to the privacy of the guest

Restaurent was good too, although not with much choices

A cool wind is dashing through the resort especially at night, when you walk out you will love it

Kids pool is separate and my kids enjoyed it

At night camp fire was soo romantic with music

Indoor games kept my kids busy

Tough off-road. 6 km from vythiri into the forest. Most off the bikes failed to finish.only Himalayan and dominar make the finish.good quality food.awesome view point. Adventure games. Waterfall. Tent stay.trekking etc. Rooms are also available with clean bed and blanket.overall a good place to visit

Location is amazing. Hospitality is good. Base category rooms need lots of improvement and renovation. Shortage of staff is a problem and felt this property is overpriced. Hope for good and pleasant stat next time.

Not value for money. U need to pay for everything for pick up to the hotel also it's chargeble heavly.

It is just awesome place. You can enjoy the beauty of nature. Though the road is bit bad it is worth reaching the place. You have trekking, waterfalls and camp fire inside the resort. One of the drawback I would point out is food. Only buffet is available and it is costly.

This is the worst resort I have ever been in my life
There is a very dense jungle with no concrete road and no road light. For sure ur car needs to be an SUV or it will break down. The manager never informed us that the drive up the jungle would be so terrible and scary and very hard to reach. When we finally managed to reach at the top of the mountain, we reached the cabin and proceeded to have dinner.
